Aerion Brightflame
2 Toy Knight 2 Green/Red/Yellow Gadget 3 Kagetokage 1 Machine Cannon 3 Machina Fortress 3 Tinplate Goldfish 2 Masked Chameleon 1 Redox 1 Dark Hole 3 Forbidden Lnace 3 MST 2 Iron Call 1 Bottomless 3 Breakthrough Skill 1 CED 1 Solemn Warning 1 Torrential I'm really liking this deck for the format. Slower pace suits it, a lot. Gentleloopers in testing till I think of a better alternative. Breakthrough voer any other form of negation because it's really good so far. Like especially since Exction is a thing (And I normally have an advantage lead)
Blake
Cannot be Special Summoned from the Deck. If your opponent controls more monsters than you do, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Toy Knight" from your hand. Better than Gentlooper at least.
Aerion Brightflame
Thank you Black, much better choice. -2 Gentlooper +2 Toy Knight.
Toffee.
Swap Corn for Emeral. You have 2 Arks Knights, Archfiend, and Beel, in additional to Big Eye/Machina Fortress. Your deck can still function if it lacks that boat.Emeral will let you do it all again, on the off-chance you somehow can't, and also work as a mini pot of Avarice. Blake
Oh I just looked at the Extra. Neg the second Ark Knight. You do not need two, and another card would do it better. Don't neg Corn, it's good in the bujin matchup, because it gives them 3 turn 1 Scenarios, assumign they open Yamato (which they probably will): Dump Turtle, devote backrow, lose to Evilswarm Exciton Knight. Dump Turtle, don't devote, get run over anyways because the opp can do stuff without worrying about backrow. Dump Hare, devote or not, lose to Corn hitting over Yamato. It's not the best, most optimal way to outplay them, but it works. Depending on how much they devote, you may still want to Exciton, Hare or no. You also want to run Blader more than Colossal, unless you're terrified of Bujin, as I swiftly found out.
Toffee.
Somehow I forgot about Bujins.Yea, swap the 2nd Ark for Emeral.

Corn proved itself far to good in the Bujin match for me to ever take out. It gives me a play to deal with Yamato much more easily as Black elaborated on. Oh I just looked at the Extra. I've actually been wanting 2 quite a bit. I originally only had the one, and I was missing it a tad. Primarily because I was playing against Cyber Dragons and other destruction resistant stuff, but still. But I'll drop it for Emeral to think of it. And I want to see how the format shapes up a bit more before I swap them back again. The Bujin match here isn't actually awful thanks to stuff like Fortress, but I like having the little edge none the less.
Blake
The thing is, even early in the format, Blader is superior to colossal. Unlike Colossal who sorta shuts bujin out until they get the Quilin, Blader wrecks Mermail 100%, unless they have pike + infantry.
Aerion Brightflame
Between that and Geargia Karakuri, it's probably enough of a reason to run Crimson instead... Ok, I'll swap them back. Oh yeah, you don't happen to have a fairly decent side idea do you? I've essentially got my options atm as: Light Imprisoning Mirror, DNA surgery Cyber Dragon + Chimeratech No idea what else.
Blake
*looks at list* Since you're not maining it, side Abyss Dweller. Also Crazy Box + Viruses.
Aerion Brightflame
Rightey-Oh. Updated. Siding Drei because it works better with the rest of the deck than regular dragon, what with being A Gigant Target and material for it.
Darj
Wouldn't Imperial Iron Wall be a decent side? You would have to give up Redox in games 2~3, but in exchange you get to shut down graveyard Bujingis, or whatever the opponent runs that involves banishment.
