Godzilla 2014

I guess the way the trainer was shot made him look bigger.

But I love the idea of Godzilla being a lot larger. Never liked the idea of the King of the Monsters being smaller than most buildings. Him being as big as he is now is much for fitting for him.

COME AT ME NOW, KING KONG

He is as big as he's ever been. Even though the shortest skyscraper still dwarfs him you got to remember that most buildings are going to be his height or smaller. Not to mention they won't even be noticeable to him since we see that he walks right through one of them a-la Zilla.

LOL! (XD)
Godzilla has ALWAYS been bigger and badder than King Kong. King Kong was SHOT by normal bullets. Godzilla had to have something that, in Godzilla vs. Destroyah, was said that if it had been detonated on land that, ". . . . Tokyo City would have become a ghost town" with nothing alive for MILES.

I hate to say it, but I noticed that shot and immediately though of the 1998 movie. I still have problems with that scene.

1. That's not how buildings work...it'd collapse with all the insides being gutted like that...

2. Strangely small hole for a damn radioactive, fire breathing lizard

I just remember the movie Godzilla Vs King Kong

Freaking King Kong BEAT Godzilla.

For real?

Let's list the strengths here...

King Kong:

Giant Monkey...and that's about it. Physical strength and brains are better than Godzilla.

Godzilla:

IT CAN BREATH FREAKING FIRE

In what way does a monkey get a flamethrower?

And you're right.

To kill Godzilla, you basically have to surrender a large area of land/water for a great number of years.

I know that's not how a building works and it would collapse, but maybe Godzilla just shot his atomic breath?

That was supposedly an American change, like how we put Raymond Bur into the original? Yeah but there is no such thing as two endings; one where Godzilla wins and the other where King Kong wins.

King Kong just got left off easy in my opinion. Godzilla didn't even see him as a worthy fight and just swam off. Also, it was SUPPOSED to be Frankenstein vs. Godzilla, hence why electricity makes King Kong stronger, but was changed to Baragon vs. Godzilla and then finally to King Kong vs. Godzilla.

I honestly want a remake or the fan favorite "Gamera vs. Godzilla"!

Consider the fact he's f*cking tanked a BLACK HOLE . . . yeah . . .

So apparently Godzilla, or Gojira, means Gorilla Whale.  Interesting.

And, as the myth goes, it is the name of one of the studio hands who helped make the original Godzilla. Totally false but still a good myth.

apparently, that hole might have been made by one of the monsters he's supposedly fighting this time. the way I've heard it is that the things he's fighting started small, and then grew into monsters able to rival him.

also, if Morgan freeman narrates, or plays the part of the doctor, I'm gonna fangasm in my seat when him and Godzilla share the same stage. the amount of actors that are Godzilla fans is apparently very large, If the rumored cast members are any indication.

we'd need another biolante first, seeing as spacegodzilla was more than likely born from him.

Biollante is male? Thought it was female.

But I what do I know?

Anyways, the "theory" is that Godzilla's DNA was scrapped off of him onto Biollante when they fought and when Biollante when into space a black hole sucked the DNA and through a white hole came SpaceGodzilla......

In other words, Godzilla unintentionally had s*x with Biollante and she/it/he got pregnant and out came SpaceGodzilla.

I got that wrong, Biolante's female(As female as a rose, a girls soul and a Godzilla cell can be...)on another note, doesn't that make spacegodzilla female?

Biollante is supposed to be female while Spcegodzilla is supposed to be male. And Spacegodzilla has TWO origin stories in fact. The one where he was a product of Biollante cells being pulled into a black hole and the other some Godzilla cells, attached to Mothra, was pulled into a black hole when.she went into space.

Biollante sounds more convincing than Mothra. How do you get a crystal Godzilla from a giant moth?

(Even though Biollante is a plant/snake/unexplainable shape, it sounds better than a moth.)

Meanwhile, King Ghidorha is sitting in the corner, forgotten.

King Ghidorha's been in tons of the movies. He needs to be forgotten for a while anyways. Biolante and Destroyah have only got 1 movie each, despite being among the best enemies in Godzillas history. For that matter, spacegodzilla might actually lead to something interesting as well if they ever kicked that idea around again.

Uh the skin cells happened to be on Mothra, which got sucked into a black hole, and instant Spacegodzilla~!

Not forgotten, but like everyone has said he has gotten so many movies that he needs to be allowed to rest a bit. I mean out of the 28 movies Godzilla has stared in, King Ghidorah has been in 7 of them not mentioning cameos. So that it literally 1/4 of the entire series he's been in. That is a LOT. The only other monster that appears that much, save the Big G himself, is Mothra and Anguirus.

Uh only Destroyah was memorable out of those two and could even be counted as "the best enemies in Godzilla's history." Biollante really never did much to Godzilla while Spacegodzilla and Destoryah have managed to actually defeat him; the later having managed to kill Godzilla Jr.

If you ask me Destroyah, King Ghidorah, and Gigan are the top three Godzilla enemies.

Gigan? I get the other two, but I'm not sure Gigan's done against him all that much to be as high tier, design wise he's an amazing monster, but if any machine-type kaiju was going to be high tier on the list, I'd have to say Mechagodzilla, but he needs a break as well.

As for Biolante, I didn't mean best enemy as far as strength against Godzilla but how well done the monsters were in their respective movies. Biolantes movie didn't have all that much action in it, but it was still one of the better made Godzilla movies, the monsters were well done, the acting was above par as far as Godzilla movies were concerned and the whole thing wrapped up quite nicely imo. in fact, the heisei era movies were probably the best set of movies in the entire franchise if each of the eras were taken as a whole (although GMK:GMAoA was almost good enough to make the millennium era win single-handedly...).

Well Gigan is one of the few monsters who has managed to make Godzilla BLEED. And when I say bleed I mean you see actual blood. The only other monsters that I think you get to see do that to the Big Guy is Biollante when she pierced Godzilla's hand and Destroyah when he went all raging horn drill on Godzilla's chest.

Oh wait . . . Godzilla's first fight with Mechagodzilla resulted in a lot of blood too . . .

FINALLY! Someone else who sees GMK as one of the best movies in the entire Godzilla series instead of whining "why is Godzilla supernatural!?"

Just for fun, here's another Godzilla picture
