Admiral_Stalfos19
Ugh... can't decide whether I want Blackwing Harpies or Mist Valley Harpies for Col. Robinson to use. Decisions, decisions, decisions... ... Decisions, people?
Maeriberii Haan
BW-Harpies, due to the beautiful Simorgh access.

Maeriberii Haan
But black whirlwind! Also, DARK/wind fits an earthbound immortal more than WIND/WIND.
Admiral_Stalfos19
Bleh, I don't care about cards being limited, since I usually use only 1 copy of each card anyway. Though Black Whirlwind is tempting. So's Gale for that matter, since its ability to cut beatsticks' ATK in half can be useful. ... Still stuck on the fence :/
Origin 뮤
I vote for BW-Harpies jsut because I love BWs, lol
Admiral_Stalfos19
Yeah, I pretty much decided that this morning. Divine Wind wasn't worth the sacrifice of Gale in my eyes, and I could always make an even better Field Spell, which I think I have done.
Tashima Awaiiko
Sry I've been gone for so long, I've had three birthdays and finals. But I'm back now. Submitting my Customs and my app soon
Loyalist
I'd like to join this RP (baseline or Midgard) will submit my app later on today (or tomorrow since it is getting later where I live).
Maeriberii Haan
So, how would this be started? Will everyone from the baseline suddenly gets an impulse to climb the tower? What about the Midgardian and Babylonian?
Love of Ghibli
Most characters already have an innate want to climb the tower which is good. But to answer your question there is going to be a cataclysmic event (note the Babylonian terrorist) that should hopefully motivate people to climb to the top. As for the Babylonians...well they'll all be PM'd but they don't have an obligation to be really involved until after Arc one. Sadly with the Holidays encroaching I may have to start without waiting for these apps. Ugh the best laid plans of mice and men.
Loyalist
I haven't finished my custom cards yet but this is my application so far:
Character: Username: Loyalist Name: Tetsuya Katsumi Age: 23 Gender: Male Appearance: A tall individual standing at a respectably high 6'0, weighing roughly 158 pounds. His skin is pale and his eyes are dark around the rim, slightly bagged due to lack of sleep. He has pitch black hair that is slightly longer than most men's. His hair is long enough that it sometimes covers his right eye. Both of his eyes are a shade of dark brown. He sports a black overcoat covering his a dark red/brown shirt. His trousers are also black and despite his lack of sleep and good health his clothes are all in good condition. He wears a singular silver ring on his left index finger, with a black jewel (not too big or flashy) embedded within. Overall his clothes are more practical than professional or fashionable. Personality: Tetsuya dedicated the entirety of his life on on his occupation and its principles. Because of this he grew a very analytical mind and through the influence of his avatar also became very cunning. Although not a bad person at heart he had never had any friends, he even sees his relationship with his avatar more for mutual benefit and advise. Because of this he has a severe lack of social skills. In contrary he is very calm when facing people, whether it be because of his confidence or just to focus and evaluate. This, he has found to be a great advantage when duelling as he become hard to read and can always keep his cool under pressure. He job is his passion. Outside of duelling his has nothing else. No large degree of money to spend and no social connections. Tetsuya has always wanted to know more and has a great willingness to regain his family's once prestigious and honourable position in the world. Residence: Baseline Occupation: Tetsuya is a researcher/scientist. Biography: Tetsuya was born under a once prestigious family that were dedicated to scientific discovery. His family became obsessed and exhausted their funding. Not long after they became bankrupt Tetsuya found himself alone in the abandoned research facility that now resides on the rim of baseline. He ended up spending his entire life in the facility, earning scraps and receiving minimal funding, mainly due to the failure of his parents which strongly damaged his reputation before he'd even became a dedicated scientist. Upon reaching adulthood he was approached by a being called "Prometheus". Prometheus claimed to be Tetsuya's avatar and that their destinies were tied. At first Tetsuya didn't trust this dark figure, despite knowing well about avatars. However, over time Prometheus' remarkable intelligence and support began to aid Tetsuya's research greatly, their minds and powers working like clockwork. Prometheus shared his knowledge with him and even aided in the construction of a powerful Duel Monsters deck that Tetsuya quickly learned to use, excelling in the strategic principle of the game. Desperate not to end up like his parents and win back the pride of his family he and his avatar planned to solve the greatest mystery of all: Babylon. Powers and Abilities: Tetsuya has the ability to manipulate shadow. He "persuade" dark areas to manifest themselves in particular forms. These include: Barriers, "shades" (weak creatures that are often just a hindrance) and even weapons. He can also create "greater shades" which are effectively larger versions of shades. However, the larger the objects he creates the more energy is drained from Tetsuya. He also have the ability to temporarily become invisible whilst in the dark. Deck: Prometheus/Promethean Deck Description: Filling the grave with Monsters to power up Prometheus Custom Cards:

Avatar Baseline: Prometheus, King of Shadows (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Prometheus,_King_of_the_Shadows) Avatar Personality: Cunning and power hungry. An intelligent companion who is rather secretive and spiteful of others. Despite having a strong sense of superiority and right to dominance he remains loyal to his master and often advises him using his advantageous perspective, always looking to gain something, especially new power and knowledge. Avatar Abilities: Prometheus is undoubtedly powerful but not in terms of brute force. Although he does have a reasonably degree of raw power, using the ability to morph darkness into destructive forces (similar to Tetsuya but more focused on creating blast of energy etc) he relies on his cunning and trickery. He can create illusions of himself or even teleport short distances at the cost of some of his power.

Love of Ghibli
(Can you please save me a spot? I'll work on my Application now)
Character: Username: EpicBoss99Name: Hiryu KazunariAge: 21Gender: MAppearance: Personality:Residence: MidgardOccupation: Your character has to make a living. Though student is also acceptableBiography: Powers and Abilities: Hiryu and Emerald Dragon are alike so much that Hiryu has gained the ability to make Emerald Dragon Appear from his Spirit in real life. However, it can cause major physical and mental pain to Hiryu over a long period of time and can eventually kill him if overused. Hiryu usually only uses it for Emergencies only. If Emerald Dragon is hurt when he is in his physical form and reverts back into his spirit form, his wounds will eventually recover usually over the course of 3-6 hours. During this time, he will still be able to be used as a card, but when he goes back into his spirit form, his wounds will reappear.Deck: Dragon RemixDeck Description: Lock Down the Opponent and send in a tornado of Attacks! Emerald Dragon acts as a Guardian, Protecting Hiryu from any sort of danger that might arise. He can also be very similar to Hiryu in terms of personality, as they are very good friends now.Avatar Abilities: Emerald Dragon, thanks to Hiryu's Abilities, is able to defend Hiryu in real life in an animate form.
The powers and abilities make no sense. Avatars are inherently real, it would not be an ability to make it so. Emerald Dragon should technically always be by Hiryu's side. Love of Ghibli
Then could I make it so that Hiryu doesn't have powers at all? Powers and avatars are linked to the character the come from. Same goes with the deck they use. If your character has no powers then they would have to run a deck of vanillas, with a vanilla avatar, and to be honest I wonder how they survive the trials of Babylon. How does that look? Refer to the card game as duel monsters and secondly Midgard is not a place where people live commonly. It's barely safe to sleep there let alone work as a waiter. I don't truly understand the correlation between changing forms and deck lockdown but that's minor. Finally the personality is too short. I shall review customs later. Love of Ghibli
Alright, Fixed the Personality, fixed the whole Duel Monsters thing and fixed the Job thing as well. The bio should now be fixed. I don't think you're grasping the concept of the tower. One does not simply find employment in Midgard. Midgard is monster world. And if you are planning to have a Midgard there should be some mention of crossing the Beltline.
