chairman ali
They day you start digital media you are told to never redo a finished artwork. Sadly, this is extremely wrong and unhelpful advice. This is completely opposite to what the old masters have done. The only way to progress with techniques is if you go back and take away or add other elements. The importance of redoing is variation. The more you redo, the more you will learn and the better results that will come out of each artwork. My advice is to do 10 variations of each artwork (at least). This can mean different things: colour, elements, positioning, compositions, etc. An example would be creating one signature and then remaking that signature 10 times. After those 10 times you finalise it and choose what you like best from each of the 10 and adding them to the finalised one. If anyone is up for this task then please post it here. Make a finalised signature and then show your 10 (or however many) signature process. This is a VERY effective technique.
chairman ali
Well, this is extremely sad. No one is willing to give it a jab?

chairman ali
10 signature process does not mean all 10 have to be finalised. It means all 10 have to be experimental. Only the final one is finalised.
