Astro Dude
I just saw the new episode and something really bugged me: This episode was about Spongebob getting fired from the Krusty Krab. This would have been a platinum opportunity for Plankton. He would have hired him and remind him of how Mr. Krabs fired him, fueling his rage and make Krabby Patties for him, so why didn't the writers implement that? Nathanael D. Striker
From what I gathered, it's supposed to be a social commentary on the unemployed and the benefits they receive. That's why.
Astro Dude
Yeah, but Plankton could've use the opportunity.
Tentacruel
Spongebob died along time ago. It makes the Simpsons look like it's in its prime. Still, it's kind of amazing that they managed to be relevant.

goddamnit names are a pain
Makes me want to see this episode just to see what the topic is about. Spongebob bored me lately. You're not watching the right Spongebob, then. XD Seasons 1-4 are the best. Really, 2-3.
