TFMegamanlan
Okay, I think I may do that: Change the SS's to either player and the effect that requires another Revolter to be in play will also be either player. The Summons will be only for the Opponent. (So like Burner isn't triggering his own effect 3 times) Thanks =)
AzNPaladin
Star Archetype Design and creativity-wise, the archetype is very bland and generic and simply revolves around continuously plussing while throwing your hand onto the board for Synchro Summons. It pushes loops and comboes and linear playing as well as overextending as you just regain all your advantage back at the end of the turn as well as set up your Graveyard for all of your other overpowered effects. Light of the Universe is essentially a Pot of Greed as you can immediately Summon the monster you just added. Starlight Guardian just says no to any sort of interaction by the opponent. Spirit of the Star Dragon is NOT okay. It makes Quasar in Fableds far too easy (granted, you have to run Lurrie, but that’s still crazy) or can immediately make Black Rose Dragon as well as set up your Graveyard. Star Rune Lancer and Witch are pretty damn useless. Starlight Dragon is ridiculous with the effect that both recycles your cards and negates your opponent’s effects and when it dies, it more or less Summons Quasar for free. Starstream Dragon, for a single Stardust Dragon, lets you Summon Starlight Dragon which allows you to Summon Quasar after you use their overly powerful effects. Darkdragons Relentless Boss-Summoning from mere Grave setup is a terrible idea, Lightsworns and stuff would abuse the hell out of this archetype. The effects are just so bland and just copy-pasted, and they don’t really function as an archetype, a person would just take one or two of the dragons, probably Fraxell and Roxurr (and the materials) and put it in their Lightsworn Deck or something. Cosmic Energy Interesting concept, but looks like the Deck would be a bit clunky, making some big plays only if you have the set pieces and some cards are considerably more powerful than others putting reliance on drawing those cardds. Setting up would be difficult, but if you manage it you can have some serious power. Inconsistent Decks are no fun to play at all and luck becomes a big factor which is bad. All the luck that this game needs to keep it interesting are already there with drawing the cards and the five random cards you get at the start of the game. The attempts I see there for hand advantage are too slow. Overall, it’s decent, but not really up to par. Dragon Revolters While I appreciate the thought behind it, it was not executed very well at all and will often fall on its face as not all, in fact very few, Decks will use enough of those mechanics for this Deck to work and no Deck other than Dragon Rulers use all Attributes. It suffers greatly from consistency as there is almost no way you’d have the right card for the situation. Your opponent can easily sit there and not do anything to stop you from Summoning stuff. The Extra Deck boss is simply some sort of Synchro hate and not really worth it most of the time. The Revolution Begins is a really good card and I like it. The Field Spell is kind of underwhelming and not really worth it. Dragon’s Blastwave is terrible. The Traps are overly powerful as if to make up for the Dragons’ weaknesses, but they don’t and will often end up dead draws. I’ve made a similar Deck in the past: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/300834-toyo-cum-review-dis-tekno-archetype-only-6-cards-not-50/ Moon Priestess of the Moon is beautiful (both the picture and card itself :P) but the rest of the archetype is too reliant on putting your opponent’s monsters face-down. You’ll have serious consistency issues as you won’t be able to have Priestess all the time and Enchanter and Archer will dead draw (clog your hand). I suppose you could work these guys into Ghostricks, but none of them are really worth it other than possibly Priestess and Ghostricks are fine on their own. It’s not a good idea to insert a Ritual Monster into a Deck as Rituals have serious damage on consistency. Artemis is very likely to dead draw. There just isn’t enough in this archetype. Placing 1. sirburton, a solid job and quite a creative archetype 2. TFMegamanlan, nice try but not a particularly effective deck 3. -Someone-, some major flaws here and there 4. Hikari-chan, not really enough for a Deck 5. IE_Nightmare, very bad though somewhat interesting idea These may not be final as Toyo has yet to say anything. Thanks for judging. Really appreciate it.
