Unattended Contest Section

Well, I'm pretty concerned about this. There's lots of overs and needed to be locked or cancelled contests. I can see they're piling up, and pushing other contests to other pages. Apparently, even when locked, they're not moved. I was thinking if we could get a more active moderator there that is just for that section if they could PAY ATTENTION to the section to see if anything is done, or needed to be attended to. 
Currently I saw on the first page, TWELVE (saw more) contests are currently needed to be attended too. Maybe more on the second page. I wish I could help start moving and locking these, but I'm just a member. 
I would appreciate supporters for this, because if you see it too, there's a back up of old contests and some contests that have been finished for days, and still not locked. It can lead to spammers getting in there if doesn't get locked in some time.

Yeah, that's a bit of the problem.

Although the non-CC mods can lock stuff out of their section, it mostly lies on Zextra (who at the moment is the only CC mod around) to keep up to date with everything.

 

There is a shop item that'll allow you to lock your own threads, but we do need more people checking around there. (I feel sorry for Zex for having to manage the whole section on his own)

I know, and nothing's being done. I also wanna help, xD Cause I'm very active in that section, and can start organizing it better if I had a Moderator Position there. Thanks for your support, much appreciated.

I'm not familiar with the section. What do you mean that they're not "moved"? Unless they're stickied, they should drift down as new posts are added to active topics. Unless the problem is that there's so many completed contest topics that active topics get buried and therefore, no new posts get added to push down the old ones.

Not moved meaning they literally stay in that section. Why do you think you guys made a "Finished Contests" section for? Mine is over, and it got locked, but not moved. It's gonna pile up with everything else, and some aren't even locked.

Ah, I see. Like I said, I'm not familiar with the section. I've literally never gone there before now, and admittedly only did because like 10 reports popped up for the section.

I don't mind taking a CC Moderator Position and helping out with the Staff here. And yup. That's how many I saw that needed to be attended to.
