A two-meter high stone wall barred entry to school grounds, allowing the many passerbies in Lighthall Square only to gaze upon the school’s structural beauty, but not enter and experience the school for themselves nor explore its labyrinth of halls. Freed, too, it seems, was barred access, he approached the massive brass gates only to find that they were locked by some strange lock without any keyhole nor number combination. Students had not been asked to arrive until 5 o'clock and glancing at his beaten up watch, Freed realized it was merely 4:00. Nevertheless, he needed to get in. In his pocket, he held an important letter to the principal and wished to get it to him as soon as possible without the scrutiny that other fellow classmates would inevitably bring. The principal should have been expecting him. He banged on the gates for a few minutes and waited while pacing back and forth, but after fifteen minutes, it was evident that no one was coming to welcome him inside. He would have to let himself in then.

With a very annoyed and disgruntled look on his face, Freed tossed his luggage over the five-meter tall gates and proceeded to climb them himself. The bars were cold and slippery, but Freed used Animus to strengthen his grip. Reaching the stone archway above the gates, he stood himself up with a sense of triumph... only to find four Animus controlled turrets, two on each side of the ornate wooden door, swivel around commence open fire on him.

Rubber bullets. Non-lethal, but they hurt like hell and, surprised by the sudden onslaught, Freed was knocked backwards off the gate. He was fortunately able to maneuver in the air so not to land on his head, but he had to lie there for a few minutes slowly healing himself with Animus. No one dared approach him or help him. He caught numerous scared, confused glances in his direction, but they all quickly looked away when they realized he was staring back. Sighing and then groaning with pain, he got back up. What he was doing was probably against the rules or even the law and they evidently took him as some reprobate.

Even so, he tried again, but this time, as he attempted to jump forwards when the guns began to fire, a sudden much more powerful shot from the closest turret caught him in the gut, followed by three more, and the sheer force of the hits propelled him backwards over the gate again. Gritting his teeth in frustration, he succeeding on his third try slashing the oncoming bullets with his sword. Landing on his feet on the other side of the gate, he braved his way through the storm of pain and, with a heaving breath, fell inside into the school lobby, a grandiose hall with pristine marble floors, but a relatively simple glass chandelier hanging from the painted arched ceiling.

“Pathetic.”

Freed looked up from his prone position to find a beautiful girl with flowing scarlet hair gazing down at him with a contemptuous look on her face. Barring the contemptuous glare, it was truly a sight to behold. As he was staring at her for a moment longer while his numerous bruises healed, he gratefully admired her slender, but curvaceous form, made more prominent with her white frilled corset, before he found himself blushing. He shouldn't be ogling a lady like that no matter how much his mentor would approve.

“Ah, could you direct me to the principal’s office? I would like to see him personally,” said Freed weakly while keeping his face down in embarrassment.

But the girl spared him no shame. With surprising strength, the girl pulled him up with one hand, lifting him up in the air. Freed's blush disappeared as he suddenly became quite scared. Her gaze was stern and fierce, predatory even, and Freed found himself shrinking back a bit. He never had much experience around girls, but he had been informed that they were dangerous and as unpredictable as the weather. The girl tilted her head to the side as she contemplated her options that may have ranged from making Freed lick her shoes to throwing him out through the rubbish chute, but surprisingly, she let him down. “The principal is unavailable right now. You may give your message to me.”

“Ah... but...” Freed stuttered for a bit and shook his head.

The girl gave a bored, exasperated sigh and walked away, sitting down on the steps up to the speaker’s platform. A tube then extended down from the ceiling. A periscope.

And then there was silence. Freed simply stood there awkwardly before turning back and grabbing his luggage. He sighed in relief when the turrets didn’t open fire. Coming back, he looked the girl straight in the eye.

“What’s your name?” asked Freed, deciding to change tact and smile. “I am Freed. Just Freed. And you?”

“Why would I care for a mongrel’s name? Trash like you don’t deserve the honor of receiving my name,” she spat and Freed’s expression darkened at her high-and-mighty tone. There was a deadly pause as the girl’s eyes narrowed back at him, but Freed's glare did not relent. A corner of her mouth curled up in interest. She opened her mouth as if to say something else, but it was lost in the sounding of the city’s bell.
Five clangs. It was time. A significant number had gathered outside of school gates and with a click sound from the lock, the gates slowly swung upon on their own. However, as the first student set foot into school grounds, Freed winced. The loud rattling of the turrets opening fire came on and was responded with various shrieks of pain.

A lone figure suddenly appeared upon the roof of the school, three stories up. He was a pale-skinned boy with shoulder length blond hair and crazed blue eyes. With a diabolical grin on his face, he looked down upon the scene. Stretching out his hands to the sides in a dramatic gesture, he called out to those below. “I welcome you all to Daedalus College!”

As the other students walked in into the academy, and promptly got assaulted by the turrets, Caeil just watched from behind. She sighed a bit, and started to activate her Gliederfüßer. The bug-shell contraption started to let out a whirring sound, and immediately transformed into six slim, segmented arms.

"How...annoying. Those casuals might be a good shield for me so I can walk safely, Or I can just activate the shield utility function, though I'm not really sure about its current strength. Last option would be flying, but that'll be a pain for me.. Whoever made this joke of a greeting should be blasted to the sea."

Caeil then looked at the rest of the crowd. before grumbling. A rubber bullet almost hit her in the shoulder, but one of the arms managed to deflect it before it hits.

"Seems like my arms are strong enough to deflect the bullet. But, shielding myself all the time wouldn't be fun. I should try to at least do something flashy."

She then immediately activated her Gliederfüßer's flight function, turning all of its arms into wings. Wasting no time, she immediately took off, and fly straight above the gates at full speed. The turret notice her though, and started to shoot at her.

"Damn, now I'm just making the fate of the people below me easier. This is unacceptable!" She mused to herself, until a bullet hits one of her wings. And another one. And a hard thud. She started to panic, she started to lose height at a dangerous rate.

Ten seconds later, she fell on a bush, thankfully with most of her still intact, due to falling backfirst. As soon as she regained most of her balance, she did a quick check on her contraption. The contraption ends up worse than her. 2 of its arms were broken, and parts of the fragile 'wings' were riddled by holes.

"Ouch, that hurts. I hope none of my stuffs are broken....

Am I able to get inside though? I don't want to redo my attempt to enter. Though, better check if all my equipments are still intact."

As she checked around to find parts of her gadgets, she immediately noticed a wall.

She had successfully entered the academy. Joyfully, she walked into the other direction, but she didn't notice that she left her suitcase in the bush.

Lukas was completely entranced by the beauty of the school. From the intricate design on the door, to the perfectly ugly sneers of the gargoyles, to the architecture and curves of the building, Lukas was entrapped in awe. So occupied by the beauty he was, he didn't notice the groans and rattling sounds around him. That didn't last long, as he was hit by a rubber bullet. His groans soon joined his peer's, as he was pushed over the gate, cursing. "Why the hell woul-" He was cut off by a voice over head. "Welcome to Daedelus College!" Run source of the voice appeared to be that of a cocky looking boy standing on a balcony behind the turrets. Lukas decided that instead of trying to get past the turrets, he would just wait and watch the others, and try to formulate a plan. He watched as the first wave of headstrong a charged, head down, into the bullets. He winced as they were all painfully pushed into the wall. He watched as a girl attempted the same strategy as many of her fellow classmates, and grinned slightly as she tripped and fell. He then became fascinated by a few new people. They seemed to be using all sorts of interesting tactics, such as using a suit of some sort to fly over the gates. "This is going to be an interesting school year..." He thought to himself, before sitting down to twiddle with the new weapon he was designing.

"See you later, handsome!" Sarah called to one of the drooling boys, walking towards the gate. She made sure she stuck her butt and breasts out as she walked, drawing the attention of many ogling boys, and even one girl. They were soon pushed back into a wall, instilling a small amount of anger into her. "Who dares to take away from my attention?" Her question was answered when a voice sounded from above. "Welcome to Daedalus College!" The boy above her said. "The audacity, taking way from my moment. I'll show him..." She took out her pole arm-sniper, spinning it incredibly quickly. It deflected the majority of the onslaught, but couldn't block all of them, allowing some rubber bullets to pass. As one struck her boob, her anger turned into a blind rage. She ran ahead, bullets bouncing all over the place. As she passed one girl, Sarah thwacked her on the head, probably causing a large goose egg later. As she finally made it past the turrets, she began heavily slamming on the door with her staff, screaming complaints.

Aquilla looked down from the skyship. From the height she was at, details were inscrutable. All she could see were shapes. Shapes of buildings, dots of people, she couldn’t even tell exactly where the entrance to the school was. Picking up a telescope from the desk beside her, she extended it to its entire length, and held it up to her eye as she peered down. Even with the magnifier, she could hardly see the front gate. Of course, she was on a schedule, and when the grandfather clock near her began to chime, she prepared herself for a grand entrance. The clock chimed the first time. She was terrified, but she put on a brave face. She wouldn’t look nearly as impressive if she touched ground with a face-full of tears. The second chime rang out. She reached beside her to grab a small metal backpack. Chime three. She slipped the pack onto her back, tightening straps that went across her chest. Four. She pulled a pair of goggles over her eyes. She was falling before she had a chance to hear the fifth chime. Now that it was hurtling toward her, the ground seemed much closer than it did before. For a moment, she panicked, but the moment did not last. This is what she did. She flew. And every single person crowded at the increasingly visible entrance was going to see it. Aquilla tilted her body into a position akin to a swan dive, with the primary difference being that she was still hundreds of feet up in the air and rather than water below her, there was a mess of metal, pavement, and human beings. Her bright blue hair blowing all about, she used animus to activate her “backpack,” Pinnam Ensis. In an instant, it unfolded into a pair of golden wings. Having now reached the point where she could see what was going on at the gates, she slowed her descent so that she could briefly observe those who would soon be her peers. Then she noticed something very interesting indeed. Somebody was flying. However, unlike her swallow-like flight patterns, this was much more akin to a dragonfly. Rapidly approaching the ground, she stared in amazement – that is, until the dragonfly began to plummet. Looking ahead of the bug person, she noticed the turrets. “Well, this is certainly going to be more interesting than I thought.” Rather than slowing down, she used her Animus to activate the thrusters within Pinnam Ensis, launching herself at the contraptions as fast as she could. As expected, they began firing at her, but sure not to make the same mistake as the dragonfly did, she swerved to her left, causing the safe but neverless terrifying rubber bullets to hit a student behind her. She couldn’t help but laugh as she glanced back and witnessed the occurrence, but when she looked forward again, it was already too late. She had gotten past the turrets, but she was now faced with something possibly much more dangerous. The Dragonfly. “WATCH OUT!!!” was all that she was able to say before the collision.

Robby couldn't help but laugh as he saw what the college had in store for the new arrivals as he watched from an adjacent rooftop. using his hands like a pair of ineffective binoculars, he witnessed not one, but two teenage girls flying in, with varied success. There was a reason he simply climbed in through a window on his first day. These kids didn't stand a chance. Nevertheless, he couldn't help but miss the time that he had spent at Daedalus academy. However, his reminiscing was cut short at the site of yet another eager student being pummeled by rubber bullets "That one's going to leave a mark, for sure"

Calculating that it would take him around 30-45 minutes to reach the Daedalus College by walking from home, Ezeltainn took his suitcase with his weapon Kaxovor and a midday lunch inside, the prototype of his automaton Ryzewik as a backpack, put his goggles and mask on, and started his walk. This didn't bother him at the least, as he enjoys walking and contemplate the city on his way. In the middle of the walk an stray dog made him company, and when they took separated ways, he left him half of his lunch for it to eat.

After walking for 30 minutes, he arrived at the College, early enough to see a boy attempting to pass the gates only to be assaulted by four turrets. This startled him, but then concluded that it should be some kind of test for the new students. He saw the boy attempt to pass the gate again and this time he succeded and went inside the building.

Ezeltainn stood there thinking in how he would cross the gates, and while he did other students arrived. He didn't pay them much attention, except for an outstanding girl with orange hair. Suddenly the city bell rang and the gates were opened. He decided to just go through them, at the mercy of the turrets.

He turned Ryzewyk on, took Kaxovor out of the suitcase and ran towards the building with the suitcase on one hand and the weapon on the other, in an attempt of blocking as many bullets as possible. When the turrets opened fire, Ryzewik detected the threat and automatically moved between his owner and the bullets to protect him. However, it was impossible for Ezeltainn or Ryzewik to cover his lower body, and several bullets impacted on his legs and he almost fell down, but miraculously kept running and reached the college's front door. He then placed his automaton on his back and dropped the suitcase.

He immediately fell out of pain, and evaluated his condition, while the turrets where now aiming towards the students at the gates and even on the sky: He figured that the bullet bruises would take weeks to heal without medical treatment, and the external plates of his automaton were badly damaged by the bullets, as they were not made from a strong metal. Fortunately, his headgears were not damaged, which was a relief for him.

Upon arrival at his new college (Which was a slightly late arrival, due to, as he saw them, ignorant citizens. "Why yes, that is a machine attached to my arm. Legal? Like I know!") Arthur was greatly pleased, as he had, quite honestly no idea what to think of Daedalus, and seeing turrets immediately pelt students with rubber more than had him on-board with the way the college is being ran.

After watching students attempt get past the turrets, he shouted, "Honestly... Hey amateurs, this is how you avoid a turret!" and upon saying that, he lifted his arm-thrower in front of him, using it as a shield, and deflecting nearly every bullet sent his way. "Woohoo!! Ya see how easy that is?

As if that display of arrogance wasn't enough, he then shot off several blasts of fire at the turrets and proceeded past the turrets, without even seeing if the blasts hit.

Once past the turrets he walked around to see how many others got past, until he caught an eyeful of what appeared to be, an extremely pissed of, yet extremely beautiful woman.

He approached her, and said, "Wellll, hellooo beautiful.". He then noticed a bruise on her boob and added with a wink, "Want me to go get those turrets for ya?

"It's even more impressive than I thought...!"

Amelia Feld Erlze was in the middle of the pack of students entering the school.  Most of them seemed excited in one way or another; Amelia figured they were new to the school like she was.  "Ehehe..." Amelia giggled, proud of herself for getting into the school without her parent's influence.  Granted, she owed most of her success to her strange Animus ability, but she wouldn't complain about that.  She kept her right hand inside of Claw Crusher, an automaton - Daedalus weapon hybrid that utilized Amelia's style.  The thing was massive; it looked pretty much like a giant metal shield that was pretty much as tall as she was.  Its size was pretty much the only impressive thing about its appearance; many of the other students seemed almost repulsed by what merely looked like a slab of metal.

DONG.  DONG.  DONG.  DONG.  DONG.

Five rings from the bell. The gate opened soon after that.  "Let's do this," Amelia whispered to herself, only to stop in surprise once a loud cry came from the front.  Followed by many more.  The gunfire made it obvious that someone was attacking the students.  Raising Claw Crusher in front of her, Amelia kept her eyes peeled for the source of the attacks.  Whatever it was, it didn't seem bloody, but she could not see who was firing upon the crowd. Fortunately, the other new students answered that question for her.

"WHY TURRETS!?" one distressed student yelled out in pain from behind.  Amelia smiled.  'Turrets.  Stationary,' she thought to herself, her confidence rising and her fear fading.  Peeking from one side of her shield, she spotted one of said turrets, firing bullets at a constant rate... and not towards her.  "Just gotta do this like I'm doing an endgame charge," she said to herself, referencing a popular tactic in Triscone.

Before she could move, Amelia noticed she was... being clung to?  Looking behind her, she noticed three other students hiding behind her.  Well, hiding behind her shield.  "You know I'm going to just rush in, right?" Amelia said, trying to hide her annoyance.

"Yeah, but we have a better chance getting in sticking with you."

Amelia sighed, but could not think of any reason not to help them out.  "Alright then.  Try to keep me between you and the turrets," she said.  The first thing Amelia did was run towards one side of the entrance, moving the shield to keep it protecting her and the little entourage she picked up.  Once near the wall, she pushed towards the entrance alongside it, ending up right in front of one of the turrets.  With herself in position, she motioned the three students behind her to go on ahead.  "Go!"

They quickly scampered around the two turrets, hoping to not get shot at.  A quick glance back at the plaza showed students still getting shot at.  Still running off the satisfaction of helping a few of her peers already, Amelia thought of how to help the others... as the turret she was standing by swiveled around to fire at her.

"No!" She yelled, as she raised Claw Crusher into the air.  The pointed end of the massive weapon split apart, and Amelia brought it down upon the barrel of the turret, squeezing it shut.  Since she wasn't protected by the shield, she was exposed to gunfire for just a moment... enough to get shot in the leg by a bullet from another turret.

"AUGH!"  Amelia yelled in pain as she fell to the ground.  She didn't lose all reason; as she coddled her leg, she kept Claw Crusher upright to protect from future stray bullets.

As Sarah continued to bang unmercifully on the door, to no avail, she heard someone behind her say "Hello beautiful." He, of course, meant her. I mean who else, the chick in the bushes? No, it was her. Still ridiculously pissed off, she suwng around, staff jutting out at an odd angle from her hands. "What?!" She yelled. As she did so, she smacked the poor guy in the face, with probably enough force to knock him out. Her anger immediately subsided. "Oh my god, are you okay? I'm so sorry." She looked around for help, and other than the bush-girl, who, currently had someone flying towards her at high speeds, saw no-one. Seeing as she would be of no help, she returned to the door, this time taking a more gentle approach. "Hey, I'm sorry about before, you just, you know, shot my in my no-no square, and I was pissed. Can I please come in, I think I accidentally knocked someone out.." She trailed off, making sure that her boobs would be visible through what appeared to be a peephole.

Only after resting a bit on the floor from the assault Ezeltainn noticed that the girl with the orange hair from before was at the door as well. A male student suddenly arrived, only to be fiercely smacked by the girl after they exchanged a couple of words he didn't understood.

"Whoa, this rose must be full of thorns" he thought to himself.

Ezeltainn noticed the girl was suddenly worried about the boy and decided to stand up despite the pain and lend a hand by holding him up.

"Miss, why did you do that?" he asked the girl, and then proceed to introduce himself. "The name's Ezeltainn, by the way. Nice to meet you"

Well, this would be an interesting day to say the least, or rather, not saying anything at all. Physically Johannes was quite tired, as the apprehension and paranoia one gets from travelling to a new country kept him awake all night on the boat. Though that also might've been Polly yammering about the Squidgeons. Apparantly they were sassy little things and very easy too. Bird nookie was not a subject Johannes had read about, and the less he knew about it the better. Brittania was certainly quite, uninteresting for a country that was currently aiming to rule the entire world. The city was fairly crowded, noisy and stank a fair bit; yet it housed a premier Knight-Engineer academy. Wonders never cease.

Though physically tired, his mind was still running at the optimal level as he wondered what 'surprises' the academy had for him. If it was was anything like the Texian Military Academy, there will be a nasty surprise waiiting as soon as they enter the school grounds. Johannes had been fooled once, but not twice. There was some clicking noises coming from the inside of the school grounds. It was very close, and sounded mechanical. Possibly an Automaton attack or maybe some form of Turret. The school of renowned for its Engineers, so some form of mechanized test would be used to weed out the invalids.

Speaking of invalids, many of the students were waiting alongside him. Most of them were lower-class, by the look of their clothing an suitcase size. A few of them already possess some interesting technology. Those were most likely natives of Brittania, or possibly Gallis or Draszera. The Crescent Isles wouldn't be among their numbers, due to how closed and shallow-minded the country was. There was one girl with a large metal chunk attached to her arm. To the simplest observer, it was just a chunk of metal. But to Johannes, he could hear the intricate workings of the device, including the gentle harm of a Daedalus core. False, most likely. The real things were rarer than Irisenix tabgachiii's teeth. There was also another girl with a peculiar armamant set, much akin to some form of insect.

There were other types of whirs as well, joint based whirs. It seems that some of the student body are already in possession of false limbs, how tragic for them. Though it's not as if tragedy to the body was uncommon, Johannes knew that quite well. "You see that? That guy has an Empathy bird on his shoulder."

Johannes passed an aside peripheral to a pair of students who were looking right at him. Polly was always a subject of conversation, though it boggled Johannes as to why. In his own opinion Empathy birds should be a lot more commonplace to people, as they were trustworthy, loyal and fiercely loving birds. Granted, some people are hardly trustworthy, loyal or loving, especially not to other people. It was sad really as to how hate filled the world was, but that's just people. "YEAH I'M A FREAKING EMPATHY BIRD! WANNA MAKE SOMETHING OF IT?!" Polly screeched.

This loud outburst startled the two students, and their mutterings became non-existant.

The bell chimed five times, and all hell broke loose. As it turns out, his prediction had been right on the money. Turrets were peppering student with rubber bullets, and many of them were falling like it was a warzone. It was such needless drama, but getting hit by ten of them was plenty unpleasant. "Turrets. How many? Four, by the looks of it. Two per each side. Rubber bullets are the projectiles. Want me to destroy the turrets? No, they're school property; we have to set a good example. Besides, they're there to weed out the unneeded. You're not going to help them? It's not our place, besides, they're non-lethal, they'll find a way. Cold."

Many of the students were already making their suicide rush to the doors, and like flies they were swatted by the onslaught. Few survived byt he impact, and by the looks of it, the survivers now consisted of two. Looks like it would be a small group this year.

Johannes took a deep breath, then a calming exhale as he took a tight grip on his suitcase. With his other hand, he raised up the Animus Gardna, a pale yellow shield that sat right in front of him. Thinking about it for a moment, he turned the shape by 90o, then stretched it out, so it could defend from the turrets. He proceeded to walk, ignoring the students that chose to stand behind him.

The turrets locked on immediately, but Polly's keen eyes kept him on track as the bullets bounced harmlessly off the shield. As he got further, the shield was slowly brought upwards to counter the change in angle, until finally, they could aim at him no more.

With the threat removed, the shield faded away as he stood by the closed door of the school. The survivors were na inappropriately dressed girl, and they guy she just decked. "What an interesting learning experience this will be" he thought to himself.

Isaiah wasn't quite sure what had happened. One second he was triumphantly standing in front of the gates of Daedalus College, mentally preparing himself for wondrous things and planning for the future  taking the time to analyze many of the others, most of them appearing not to be worthy of his time, though that girl who had some sort of pseudo-automaton gadget seemed memorable. There were various others as well, and having never been in the presence of so many potential Knight-Engineers, he felt extremely confident. However - that attitude was lost as soon as the turrents came out and rubber bullets came firing. Since this had been such an unexpected event, in his panic he ended up following one of them, hiding beneath her shield in a very much cowardly manner.

"You know I'm going to just rush in, right?" The girl asked him - and two others who'd followed him - hiding her annoyance, and it was then that he felt somewhat idiotic.

"Yeah, but we have a better chance getting in sticking with you." He replied, trying to keep his calm. As much as he hated to admit it, his forte was single enemies, not hidden turrents firing at constant paces. There was no way that he'd be able to calculate their range, speed, and probability of successful targeting in this kind of situation.

"Alright then.  Try to keep me between you and the turrets," The first thing this girl did was dash towards a part of the entrance, moving her fairly-impressive shield in order to protect her and the people that were clinging onto her.  Once near the wall, she pushed towards the entrance alongside it, ending up right in front of one of the turrets.  With herself in position, she motioned him and the other two from behind her to go on ahead.  "Go!"

Isaiah quickly scampered around the two turrets, hoping to not get shot at, and somehow he managed to make it to the other side. Then he let out a huge sigh.

"I hope any potential rival didn't see that humiliating act of mine." He muttered himself, just as he went on ahead, dragging behind two heavy suitcases, wearing two as-of-yet-unused different gadgets on his head. The young knight-engineer made a reminder to himself to reassemble his most-prized Jupiter II automaton as soon as he had the chance.

As the gates to Daedalus College finally swung open, Stellar Tetanus could only wonder why so many other students were rushing past her, pushing some of the others aside as they ran, or pushing them in front of themselves for whatever reason. As for why, exactly, Stellar remained behind to see what was going on, charging Animus into her body so that she herself couldn't be shoved around the place. But it wasn't until she got a good look ahead of her that she realized why people were so desperate to get past; of course one would wanna get the hell out of the way of a turret that was opening fire on them.

Figuring she'd better let the panicking students past her for a change, Stellar moved straight forward, only to be grazed by the multitude of bullets that had shot her... along with being hit in the stomach by a stray one. However, she seemed to like this constant grazing, and it wasn't actually hurting her because of her incapability of feeling pain. However, Stellar noticed a certain someone she recognized, on a bench that was off to the side from the main gates.

...

This was Minori Rutherford, a boy that had 8 years ago suddenly decided he wanted to live life as a girl, and at the moment was clutching his heart, seemingly in pain. Minori had been lying there for several minutes now, and was still panting when all of a sudden Stellar arrived to see to her.

"Excuse me, Minori?" she asked, somehow managing to catch Minori off-guard as she did, "Are you alright?"

"I uh..." Minori murmured in his normal speaking, as blood was slowly trickling down his nose, and his eyes were sinking down towards Stellar's cleavage. After a few seconds of mindless staring though, he finally snapped back to his senses; trying to find a tissue or something to clean up the nose bleed.

"Oh! Well, I uh... actually got shot in the face earlier, and, um..." adopting his falsetto this time, Minori tried to make his excuse until...

"No you didn't, else you'd be bleeding a lot more than you were; not to mention you'd likely have bruise where you were shot," Stellar explained smiling, although this was quickly removed once she saw Minori's hands over his heart, "Although I take it you got shot square in the chest instead?"

"Nah, nah, nah, I managed to dodge all those fuckers! It was the after-effects of my ability that got me."

"I see. You're welcome to rest on me if you..."

"Thanks for the offer, but I just... can't. The last thing I wanna realize is that I accidentally nose-bled all over your boobs. Besides, I should fine by now... I think."

"Well if you're so sure, then let's get going," with that, Stellar and Minori made their way to the lobby, to meet with every else that made it past the front gate. However, Stellar had a feeling that that turret was only just the beginning. More surprises could easily await her and the other students of Daedalus College.

As all of the commotion was going on, a rather official-looking carriage pulled up to the scene, with several articles of luggage affixed to the top. A pair of porters clad in the attire marking them as official aides of one of the various Imperial ministries who looked a bit too well off to be mere footmen got out, followed by a young woman, or what appeared to be a young woman. She was completely covered in bandages from head to toe, but her face had on a strange doll-like mask, and her raven-black hair flowing down to about her stomach was clearly some sort of wig. She had on a rather plain white broad-rimmed hat, and a white sundress with simple white shoes. The porters were carrying a trunk each and watched the mayhem being caused by the turrets as part of some sort of initiation ritual.
"Miss Ross, we could easily find some sort of shielding for you." One of the porters suggested. "It would be much easier for you, and-"
"No." A soft, youthful artificial soprano responded from beneath the mask. "This is a test I must pass. And pass it, I will."
Immediately, the young woman stepped into the fray, using one hand to lower the brim of her hat while the other was held against her chest. The turrets tracked her movements and fired, but as they struck her wrapped limbs, she seemed utterly unaffected. In fact, the bullets seemed to bounce more or less harmlessly off of her limbs, though a couple shots did make her stop briefly in pain. Occasionally, however, despite her best efforts, a bullet would graze her bandages in such a way that something shiny was revealed, but the girl tried her best to hide that fact. Her associates, on the other hand, dodged, dipped, ducked, dived, and dodged to avoid the onslaught, and came out more worse for wear than she was.
As soon as she reached the entrance, she veered off to the side as quietly as possible so she could be left alone with the help of her assistants. Once she was somewhere in solace, she found a roll of bandages and wrapped up the damages, patching them up good as new.

Just several moments after she ran straight into the main building, Caeil realized something important. She had left her suitcase in the bushes where she fell. At first, she ignored the fact, thinking that she might be able to get the replacement once she's in the academy, but then she realized that her prized rifle, the Totenmesse was still inside it. Using what's left from her Animus to enchance her speed, she blitzed back to the place where she fell, and immediately found the case, so she ran back into the main building.

In the middle of the way though, a stray bullet hit her in her head. More bullets soon followed, pummeling her mercilessly, while she tried to run as fast as possible to the main building.

She arrived quite in one piece, eventhough with a lot of bruises across her body. She then reexamined the Gliederfüßer, tried to find out why didn't it protect her from the bullets. Apparently, the damage caused by the fall and collision is more severe than what she imagined. The joints in the arms were heavily damaged, and some of the false cores were dislocated due to damage to the frame.

Rustled, she grumpily disassembled the contraption and packed it into her case, mumbling about whether she actually used the right metal when she was building it.

Looking back out into the Plaza, Amelia would see things emptying out.  The rest of the students were finding their ways in one way or another, making Amelia figure that she could make her way past the gates.  Ignoring the pain in her leg for now, she gripped Claw Crusher tightly as she stood up and ran straight ahead... around the bend of her the gate... using Claw Crusher to block incoming gunfire.  Not the most impressive showing, but it got the job done... and Amelia was thankful for that much.  Not wanting to walk on her leg right now, Amelia figured she would ride her weapon... to the doorway, at least.  It was simple; she laid it flat and climbed on top of it, and let the repulsion system do the rest.

It wasn't comfortable; Amelia would usually ride it standing up, but this time she decided to sit upon the metal as it hovered towards the doorway.  As she did so, she remembered that she essentially had damaged school property... which caused her to face-palm.

"Maybe they won't mind too much," Amelia said to herself, hoping it was true.

Audrey
"Heh, not too shabby of a place." Audrey said as he examined his new school. While he's not a big fan of the architecture, it was big and it didn't look like crap. That's all he cares about for now. Suddenly, as he was checking out a particular girl with... bouncing buxoms, the school gate opened and the turret opened fire. "Dammit! What the hell, school?!" He shouted as he caught one of the bullets mid-air with his bare hands. While still shocked from the thought of getting shot at in the first day of school, he saw a large wave of bullets approaching him fast.

"C'mon! I thought I was just supposed to study and shit, not get shot at!"  Despite his words, Audrey was actually happy in a way. The turrets made for a perfect opportunity to show off to his new schoolmates. Just milliseconds before the bullets hit him in the everything, Audrey activated his gauntlets and brushed all of them off. Then some more turrets locked onto him and fired some more bullets, only to be neutralized by Audrey's gauntlets. The area surrounding him looked like chaos as students are getting shot at for no good reason. He did want to protect them... A bit. But he decided it would be best to just stop the turrets. In the midst of things, he noticed a lone figure standing on the third floor of the school. He couldn't make out who the figure is, but he thought he looked suspicious anyway. In his mind, he must be the one responsible for the turrets. So he charged at him like a mad bull, punching down any stray bullets he can see while trying to ignore the pain taken from the ones he didn't. He rushed past the school gate and leaped onto the main building's wall, climbing up it at a remarkable pace.

"I'm taking you punk down! RAAAARGH!"

Aegis
"So. Daedalus College. Hrm-hrm-hrm. It's a bit larger than I thought. The main tower's kinda off camber, the school gate has approximately three ounces of dust on it and everyone else here looks so damn ordinary. Oh well, let's just get this entrance thingie done with so I can laze about in the dorm. Now, open the gates already, willya?" It's been less than three minutes since Aegis arrived at Daedalus College and already she's made enough offensive remarks to get suspended for a week. Just as she finishes her 'critique' of the school, the school gates open only to have a bunch of turrets pop up and start shooting down everyone in the area. A stray bullet found its way to Aegis' forehead who was too busy mumbling too notice. "Turrets? What's the big idea-pichuun!" She shouted as the force from the impact made her fall over.

As she found herself struggling to get up against the onslaught of rubber, Aegis saw a lone turret locking onto her. Despite struggling to get back on her feet, Aegis' hand reached for her pocket in reflex and took out a small vial. As the turret spews up rubber, Aegis threw the vial in response, exploding it, as well as other bullets close to it. The smoke made it impossible for the turret to lock on, so she used the time to run towards the entrance as quickly as possible.

"Come on, almost there... 5 metres.. 4.. 3.. 2-ungh!" Just a mere footstep away from the gate, felt a strong force knocking her out of the way, causing her to land on the ground halfway through the gate face-first. Using the last ounce of her strength, Aegis wrote "goodbye" in the ground. Of course, she didn't actually pass out. She just thought that doing so would grab the attention of the other students and carry her away. Her plan was to lie down for the next minute or two before continuing on her merry way towards the school.

Sarah, as she continued to plead with the door, heard another, different voice behind her. She suwng around again, this time more carefully, with the staff in the upright position. "Why'd you do that?" She heard, followed by a mouthful of a name and a nice to meet you. "Nice to meet you eezale, Ezeltant- you know what, can I just call you Ezz? It really was an accident. I was so mad, well, because, reasons." She blushed as she said this. "And when I swung around to speak to this kind man, I smacked hard on the head. The names Sarah by the way. And I like your mask."

Ezeltainn was a bit surprised: Someone liking his headgears was a first one, and he was not entirely convinced with the nickname Sarah gave him, but in fear of being smacked the same way as the boy was minutes ago he decided not to complain.

He was about to say something to Sarah when he heard a ruckus behing him and turned to see what was going on: A girl on the floor writing something, another one covered on bandages was leaving the scene, and what appeared to be an smokescreen had started up, while a couple of students had already reached the entrance.

Ezeltainn was moved by the girl on the floor and her dramatic message and, taking advantage of the smoke, just ran towards her to assist, leaving the boy he was holding to Sarah and his suitcase at the door. He thought he was in an adrenaline rush by now because he was no longer feeling the pain on his legs, but he knew they would pay him back badly when everything settled down.

He went to his knees next to the girl, and took her from the shoulders. "Miss, are you okay? Let me help you reach the entrance, out of sight of these damned turrets"

Aquilla awoke in a haze. For a moment, she could have believed that she was at home, in her bed, but that illusion shattered within a brief moment. As she became aware of her current situation, she looked around herself, trying to figure out why she was laying on the ground. She pulled herself up to her feet, and saw the gateway, full of people being pummeled by the turrets, then looked down and her scraped palms and elbows, putting together the details. “Oh yeah, I crashed…”

Before she could contemplate much more on her admittedly embarrassing failure, she heard footsteps behind her. Turning around, she was met with the sight of none other than that pesky little Dragonfly girl, once again. Noticing that the girl seemed to be in some sort of hurry, she chased after her to the main building, and when the Dragonfly stopped, Aquilla let loose her verbal assault. “You! This is your fault! I am a fine enough pilot on my own, why did you have to jump in my way!”

Aquilla raised her fist in preparation for a fight, but upon closer inspection of the girl, Aquilla noticed that the Dragonfly had sustained much more damage in their collision than she had herself, with her bug-like wing contraption very nearly wrecked. “Are… Are you okay?” Aquilla's arm lowered, her expression of rage replaced with one of concern

As he was recovering (waking up really) from the blow dealt to his head by the considerably gorgeous woman, everything was quite blurry to Arthur, and when he initially tried to speak, his pain caused him to just say "Whaddahellas thatfor?!?" and after groaning a little, he stood fully upright and then stretched a little.

After standing up he let out a deep sigh and mumbled, "Jeez, I get some girls don't like guys flirting, but dang....". Still rubbing his sore temple, he realized that there was another person carrying a girl up towards the doors, and asked "Hey what happened to her?" before walking forwards to try and help out.

As he was walking forward, he paused for a moment to turn around and say "The names Arthur, whats yours?".

While Caeil still grumpily disassembled her broken contraption and packing it, a girl suddenly appeared from behind her, and started to lash at her for some reason. Caeil ignored her at the moment, knowing nothing what the hell were she talking about.

The girl then noticed her broken contraption, and her tone suddenly changed into a more concerned one.

''Are...are you okay?''

Caeil then decided to give attention to the person, since she seems to be quite a nice person. As she turned her sight behind, Caeil saw a quite a pleasant-looking girl, but what interested her more was the wing-like contraption behind her, looking more sophisticated than her own wings.

''Do I know you? What's up with the rage before? Who are you actually?

....On second though, don't mind that question, name is not important. Just tell me more about your wings, or let me borrow it for some time.''

The girl was clearly shocked by the blunt response from Caeil. Caeil ignored the reaction, while still giving expectant eyes to the shocked girl.

Lukas, feeling he had perfected his weapon, decided to try it out. He laid out some short, plucking notes, emitting small waves of fire, minting the grass belo him. Satisfied, he turned back to the turrets, watching as more and more stan dents got pummeled. He smiled again when he saw a boy in the distance get smacked by a pole. Lukas then took out a flute from his bag, playing a sweet melody.
Sarah looked back at the boy, relieved that he was okay. She then, carefully put her pole arm back into its sheath on her back. The boy promptly made some snide remarks, then left to go help some other girl. "How dare-" she said, catching herself. She had just knocked the poor guy out. Following him, she apologized. "I'm so sorry... I had been shot in, well, if you don't remember where, then good, and i was pisssed, and I accidentally hit you when I swung around to talk to you, and, I'm sorry..." She rambled nervously. Regaining her composure and elegance, she caught up to the Arthur boy, where he stood over a girl, who had appears to be injured. Instead of asking how she was, as it appeared that that many people worrying about her might annoy her, she simply walked up next to Arthur, and adjusted her bra, causing her boobs to jiggle ever so slightly. She made a point that he saw that.

"Nnnngarrrrgh! I know I packed tissues on me somewhere and yet I can't find them anywhere!" Minori growled, trying to hold back his bleeding nose with one hand and trying to frisk himself for tissues with the other... to no avail, "You don't happen to have any...?"

"Nope," Stellar said a little quickly, before looking at the girl in bandages, "Although I'd try over there,"

Minori was quick to [acronym='anime style that is, he sure as hell wasn't about to use his ability again']zip over[/acronym] to where she was pointing, and approach the two guys that were near the girl. Although Minori couldn't help but notice something off with the girl; particular that waxy, doll-like mask. He wasn't here to pick flaws, however.

"Hi, do you still have bandages left over?" he initially asked, but suddenly changed his mind before the two guys could respond, "Actually, how you take some off that person that you clearly decided to mummify for whatever reason? I only need like... a small strip at the very most."

He was expecting a no for that last bit, but at least Minori could count on an explanation... assuming these guys weren't rude or obnoxious like the rest of them.

At first, as Minori approached the girl and her escorts, the pair of porters looked like they were simply going to tell the kid to shove off, but a simple tug on the lead porter's sleeve from the girl solved that problem quickly. Both porters stepped aside so she could approach him, her sunhat coming off to reveal herself to him. The mask she wore was sturdy, but not very elaborate or ornate, though she appeared to have some sort of black lenses over her eyes to hide them. The mask and the wig merely made her look like a strange injured doll. However, she offered her spare roll of bandages to him, her body clicking and whirring as it does so. "Please return this roll to me as soon as possible when you are finished bandaging up whatever you need. As you can see, I need these bandages badly."

Freed looked at the newcomers with a certain sense of surprise. He was quite impressed and was about to walk over to greet them when a click from above drew his attention. He spun around and looked up.

The blond-haired kid from the roof jumped down to the lobby from a hatch in the ceiling, strengthening his legs with Animus the split second before he landed to reduce the shock of the eight-meter drop on his body. With a frown that conveyed well his displeasure, he turned to the red-haired girl on the stairs. "Annika, this is too easy! I knew I should have just allowed Alfred to guard the gates!" he said.

The girl, apparently called Annika, flipped her hair back over her shoulder in an impassive gesture before responding. "It's not much of a game that way, Seph, there's not enough fun in simply crushing a bunch of kids who can barely make it to our front door." Annika stood up and in almost a mocking way, began to clap her hands slowly for the new students. "Oh, congratulations to those who made it thus far. You have proven that you can walk... or flap around on your little toy hang-gliders." But, then, after her condescending speech, she surprised everyone with a dazzling smile, leaving no trace of her previous expression. "A banquet has been prepared to welcome you all to the school, while the full courses have yet to be served, you may help yourself to some cookies and refreshments inside through either of these doors."

The two doors on either side of the speaking platform slid open and Freed was split between going off to greet the others and running into the Great Hall to help himself to some food. Cookies. And so, with an anxious look on his face, he just awkwardly stood there.
