jabber2033
So, I've been trying out the new Cyber Dragon support against DevBot on Devpro just to get a feel for the deck. A bit awkward at first, as it always is when trying a new deck, but it's finally starting to get smoother, and I'm liking it very much. I've tried a few things, but this build seems the most consistent thus far. --Main Deck: 40 Cards-- Monsters: 18 Cyber Dragon x3 Cyber Dragon Drei x3 Cyber Dragon Zwei x3 Cyber Dragon Core x3 Cyber Valley x3 Effect Veiler x2 Honest x1 Spells: 13 Dark Hole x1 Upstart Goblin x3 Cyber Repair Plant x3 Mystical Space Typhoon x3 Book of Moon x1 Forbidden Lance x2 Traps: 9 Bottomless Trap Hole x1 Mirror Force x2 Torrential Tribute x1 Compulsory Evacuation Device x1 Cyber Network x3 Solemn Warning x1 --Extra Deck: 15-- Cyber Twin Dragon x2 Chimeratech Fortress Dragon x2 Wind-Up Arsenal Zenmaioh x2 Tiras, Keeper of Genesis x1 Adreus, Keeper of Armageddon x1 Number 61: Volcasaurus x1 Cyber Dragon Nova x3 Photon Papilloperative x1 Maestroke the Symphony Djinn x1 Gagaga Cowboy x1 So yeah, that's the deck. Like I've said, I've tried a few things. Machine Dupe on Core is hilarious as it brings out two Cyber Dragons for an instant Rank 5. And it's not bad on Valley either. But I've taken Dupe out since it's dead more often than not. Zwei seems a bit lackluster here, as it's only 1500 and I don't really use it's effect for anything. If I could throw in a Polymerization or Power Bond that would be a different story. But I'm considering taking it out or dropping it to 1-2. I've also tried Limiter Removal, as it seems like it would be a staple in Machine-based decks, but I've found I haven't had too much need for it. Don't have a Side yet, but I'm most likely gonna be running this after the next format starts. And who knows how the meta is gonna change. As always, comments are appreciated. Pchi
Why not take 1 Zwei for 1 Dupe, as an occasional tech? This way, maybe it won't dead draw as much.
Pchi
I'm testing Armored Cybern as possible 3rd target for Machine Dupe. After all, it's quite easy to summon a Cyber Dragon without losing your Normal Summon, in which case you may put that on the field, dumb Dupe, summon Chidori, equip the one left to CyDra and clear the opponent's field. Also, should CyDra be destroyed, Cybern takes its place and its ATK goes back to normal. And if you equip Cybern to Zwei (which can be summoned from the Deck by Core) and use its effect, you can use Machine Dupe to Summon 2 CyDras from your Deck afterwards. Also, you can summon Cybern with Debris and make Chidori (again). Debris also can call Core (and have its effect negated so its treated as Cyber Dragon Core instead) from the Grave, in which case you would preferably have Dupe in your hand so you can summon a Level 8 or 10 Synchro Dragon (or just summon a Level 6 without Dupe, though none of the Level 6 Dragons Debris can summon with core are that good :/). I have to admit, however, that all of those ideas are still being tested by me at the moment, so they might not hold all the water I expected them to do :/. On another note, I think 2 Cyber Networks are enough.
Toffee.
I'm testing Armored Cybern as possible 3rd target for Machine Dupe-Repair Plant searches your Core/Valley, so really it's just a matter of getting Dupe, because said Repair Plant will just search your target. But at the same time, Core will basically search/enable Plant in the first place. So really, Cybern is un-needed =D

YourDemonSlave
Try and make room for Barbaroid, CyberEnd, or Gatling Dragon in your extra deck to make good use of Cyber Novas effect.
