Maeriberii Haan
A bit...no. Philemon is a gigantic hole in everyone's rears. Innocent Sin is still the Megaten game with the worst ebding (and you don't get a choice, at all). Makes the option of punching him in the face all the more sweeter. Lonk
Nyarlathotep is memorable because he takes the form of Adolf Hitler. However, he's still a giant hardened male genital just for the sake of wanting to manipulate humanity to destroy itself. At least Philemon had an indirect influence. Yet, you are right in the fact that both of them are just plagues on humanity.
Maeriberii Haan
That metaphor is funny since Nyarly is the cast's father. Technically. Philemon is all 'I'm sorry, our hands are tied, please do your best to save the world. Oh, you failed? I'll make everything you do meaningless then.' At least SMT 2's Lucifer showed actual concern and actually directly helped your effort to save humanity, except in Law route.
Lonk
Well, in SMT II, Lucifer did say that freedom has the cost of peace, which he acknowledges would cause humanity to destroy themselves. Also, at least Gabriel was smart enough to see that the big guy just can't rule anymore. But, Philemon and Nyarlathotep are more or less to blame for most of the problems that occur in the entire SMT Universe.
Maeriberii Haan
Definitely. Even Satan is quite a decent guy who only does his job. The omnipotent forces of SMT are jack's donkeys.
Lonk
It just goes to prove that the big guy is literally sick with anger. Because he is the omnipotent force of the universe, he is directly affected by the problems of the universe. It's really sad to see, and even though it makes great games, I'm just hoping to see a truly good ending. All what the Neutral endings do is just prolong his suffering, while the Law/Chaos/ect. endings don't have it end the right way.
Maeriberii Haan
I hope SMT/P 5 explored about the big guys more. Or maybe resolved the conflict somewhat, but that's unlikely, since this is SMT.
Lonk
It's a shame, since SMT will always be that game series where no ending truly resolves anything. You either get destruction or a prolonged lifespan for the universe.
Maeriberii Haan
SMT: You can't stop the inevitable, the game. Anyway, back to game topic. Have you beaten Demiurge in 4 yet?
Lonk
I actually haven't done too many sidequests yet. I was still playing X, but I plan to replay SMT IV soon. Exactly what Demons do I need to fuse to get Surt?

Lonk
Shax + Nergal Thanks. Ragnarok sounds like an amazing spell. I could be wrong, since multi-hit magic sucks in my favor, but what is your opinion on them?
Maeriberii Haan
Multi-hit magic is awesome in boss battles. Especially single-target one.
Lonk
I probably should've kept the Glacier Blast when given the prompt. Good thing I have another Law save with my Level 75 character.

I mean all that trouble goes on over a freaking bet!
Maeriberii Haan
Eventhough they are both Jamaican spiced meats, Nyarlathotep is one of the best villains ever.
Lonk
I beat Azazel and Mastema. I hate Megidolaon spam -_- Good thing that their AI was stupid enough to keep physically attacking my Phys Drain Huang Lo.
Maeriberii Haan
Megidolaon spam'll get old late game usually. When you think you can handle the megidolaons and have nothing else to fear, the next high tier Almighty attack spam will wreck you.
Lonk
Exactly how bothersome is Lamentation anyways? Also, Fallen Grace looks terrifying.
Maeriberii Haan
Lamentation is quite meh if it's on your side, since most enemies will be immune to some ailments during endgame. Fall from Grace will be outdamaged by your standard severe/Heavy attacks, but 666 damage confirmed is nice tbh.

Lonk
I'm honestly very scared of the Brand ailment. It can't be healed, and it practically ensures that your team can't win.
a bad post
I'm honestly very scared of the Brand ailment. It can't be healed, and it practically ensures that your team can't win. I always apply one rule whenever I play SMT games, Murphy's Law. So I usually cover as much as possible. Unfortunately most attacks are going to be more useful for your opponent than you. Like the Brand ailment is only good for 3 fights I found, which were Belial, one of the Archangels and Ancient of Days (who I love).
Lonk
I downloaded all the missions that give me fusions except for Masakado's Shadow. I'm saving him for another time. On the other side, I'm trying to get as many Demons that I missed as possible for Special Fusion purposes.
