Or just play the game online and figure it out yourself:

Basically, you win by decking out the opponent.

The deck size is 30 exact, so games end really fast, and you have a greater chance of drawing your bosses, especially since you draw 2 at the draw phase. Drawing 2 also hurts you late game when the deck is almost empty, and the opponent can just screw off last turn and let you deck out.

The game is...weird. Winning battles depends mainly on a dice roll (or the random number given by the Gosei Morpher toy if you use that,) and for about 90% of the cards, you have a 1-in-6 chance of landing on an auto-win. There are times where you want to win a battle to maintain a consistent lead, and there are those times where you don't care about eating attacks, because if you lose, you can put the losing cards in the Training Area for a future battle to let you win a more relevant battle later. There are other times where you don't care about winning the roll because you know the opponent will deckout next draw phase.

EDIT: Also, there are times where you want you win because the opponent's card has the Rock-Paper-Scissor symbol weak to yours, and you can deal double damage.

The game is heavy on maintaining cards in the hand, especially if you run zords (which, aside from the Samurai Foldingzords with their burn effects, suck.) Megazords are a waste because they deplete your hand with no guarantee of landing on an auto-win, and whether you win or not, it's hard to recover your hand afterwards.

The online game I posted above is from the official site, and only has decks for the 3 most recent teams (RPM, Samurai, and Megaforce), and Samurai is argubly the best of the 3. At the time this game was first released, Samurai was, and still is, the only archetype to have an actual winning image (burn), and even now, have access to the best cards in the game (Shark Attack Mode, which is the boss of Red Ranger.dek, and 5 identical Super Mode cards).

Anyway, try it out.
