Sander
Doom Virus Dragon Level 4 / DARK Dragon / Effect Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 3 Normal Trap Cards with different names from your Graveyard and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If your opponent Special Summons a monster with 1500 or more ATK: You can banish 1 Trap Card from your Graveyard and discard 1 card; destroy that monster. This effect of "Doom Virus Dragon" can only be activated once per turn. 1900 / 2000
Toffee.
Considering this has the same timing as Rai-Oh, and it already potentially eats up a lot of it's usage upon Summon, and also makes it rather hard to maintain(Outside of something purely dedicated to it, of course), then once-per-turn seems a little random. Then again, considering it's stats are quite nice for an effect like that, and you don't actually tribute the monster itself(unlike Rai-Oh)-I'll just say its solid, the way it is. It still has a lot of use going for it, even as a random tech here and there.
Sander
I'll just say its solid, the way it is. It still has a lot of use going for it, even as a random tech here and there. I had Chain Beat in mind when I made this card, but even in there, they really don't run that many Normal Trap Cards anymore (given how the good Normals got hit hard with the TCG list). Anyways, I felt like the steep cost for the Crush Card Virus esque effect was needed. I could have gone on the path of not including the discard cost, but I didn't feel like dealing with people stating the obvious (aka that just banishing a trap card to pop something that your opponent Special Summoned), and so I added the discard cost, as well. TFMegamanlan
Hmm.... Maybe could you reduce it's summoning conditions a bit? Like maybe Banish only 1 or 2 or just have it Banish a Dragon-type Monster and a Trap Card? Overall I like this idea, just not sure on that Summon condition
Sander
Overall I like this idea, just not sure on that Summon condition Getting 3 Traps in the Graveyard with different names in a deck like Chain Beat isn't that hard, but I could technically change the cost of the CCV esque effect to just discarding card instead. Thoughts?
TFMegamanlan
The thing is why is it 3 Traps? Why not less so more decks then Chain Burn and a Dedicated deck.
Sleepy
What's Chain Beat? It sounds interesting. As for the card, I like it a lot, and the image looks great, I didn't think I would be able to see a card illustration of this guy that doesn't involve an anime screenshot in some way. If the cost becomes an issue for broader use, you could do something similar to what Dark Nephtys does, which is require those 3, but not banish all of them. Or something like that. Then if it feels too cheap, you could always rise the required amount "to have" without increasing the requirement "to banish". It's just an option out there. The card looks solid. TFMegamanlan
It's not that, it's that this card has great possibilities, but making it like this crushes those possibilities and makes it for the deck everyone hates....
