I am utterly stunned this hasn't been posted yet. Now, I only know James Spader for two things: Being Daniel Jackson in the original Stargate movie, and as the voice of Ultron in the upcoming Avengers 2. But the MOMENT I heard tell of this show, I was all over like a fat kid on cake. (So me on a weekend.)

 

It's an interesting premise, a man goes missing for a couple years, surfaces as a big-time criminal, and after 20 years turns himself in. He agrees to hand over the names of some of the underworld's most dangerous criminals, but he only only talk through one particular agent.

 

This series has raised a thousand questions, and James Spader plays the role so perfectly with his dry wit and classy asshole-ness. I see MANY good things from this series.

Nah, people hardly discuss tv shows around here unless it's an anime. It is an anime forum after all...well except for Doctor Who or LOK. Those have a lot of people here discussing bout it. Also if they're animated shows.

 

Like this show a lot. Always love espionage shows (Person Of Interest, Spooks, Homeland) or gritty crime shows (Justified, The Wire, The Shield) so this show is just around my alley and since Spooks and Burn Notice just ended their run while Agent Of Shield kinda suck and 24 isn't returning till next year, I say what the hell right.

 

Also, it's kinda cool to have half of your writing staff and the creator of the show worked and served as an executive producer on Alias (which is another good espionage show from JJ Abrams) years before.

 

The only thing that's bugging me is how the FBI can be incompetent without Red/Liz and having a british CIA agent. I have a friend who's cousin who was in the service failed his CIA recruitment test just because they have a distant cousin who's in British military.
