YCM and Leaderboard rules bluh.

Card A/Card B system. Written cards allowed, use site's card maker otherwise.

First to 3 votes wins and gets a rep as per usual.

Requirements are chosen by the challenger - the first one to reply.

I reserve the right to turn down requirements.

Card should be PMed to check whether the criteria are actually met and in order to post both cards simultaneously.

...Tonight, we make a support card for each other's favourite archetype. Up to you to figure which is which!

When this card is Summoned: You can discard 1 "Machina" card from your hand; add 2 "Machina" monsters from your Graveyard to your hand, except the discarded card. Those monsters cannnot be Summoned this turn. While you control a "Machina" monster with a higher Level: This card cannot be attacked and your opponent cannot target this card with card effects.[/spoiler]

When a "Gimmick Puppet" Xyz Monster you control is destroyed: Special Summon 1 "Gimmick Puppet" Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck, and attach the destroyed monster to it as Xyz Material. While that monster is on the field, you cannot Special Summon.[/spoiler]

Card A is a nice way to recover more Fortress fodders from the grave, but suffers from the limited amounts of targets for a really specific effect like that. The immunity is nice though. Card B's another gimmick card for Gimmick Puppets, but unlike the others, is actually kind of nice and quite worth it. Still, it's another inconsistent piece for the deck, and it'll be dead really often. I vote for Card B though, the effect is interesting, and Card A's main use will only be for grabbing even more fodders for Fortress.

Card A: Can recycle Machina monsters and provides protection to itself from card effects; assuming you have a higher Level Machina (which limits you to having either Fortress or Force [if you ever use resources for this])

 

Card B: Uses a destroyed Gimmick Puppet as material for a newer one, which allows it to use their effects once (and/or use as an implicit Rank-Up).

 

I'll vote for card B as well. Although it does lock your SS until monster gets taken off the field, it helps get some use out of 15 or 40's effects once (88 is out of this until you find way to get Chaos form out). Card A, as Infinite mentioned, is mainly for recovering monsters to discard for Fortress.

I thought I Posted my vote here already, but I must have messed up. Ah well. either way I hope this one works

My vote is for card A. with the exception of fortress, machinas don't really have any Good support(that I know of), And commander Is able to protect itself, without locking field in an annoying way, the recycle effect looks well balanced to me, and the non targeting might be a bit too much.

 

Card B is good support for gimmick puppets, just as good as Card A, and probably more balanced, but it's also a lot more troublesome to use. I don't like that you can't Special Summon at all while the monster you summoned with it is on the field(although I get that you can pull off rank shennanigans). If it was an "until the end of your turn" or  an "until your opponent's next standby phase" type effect It'd be better.(unless I'm reading it wrong?) But the way it is now just feels a bit off to me. It feels like it would either be really broken when you use it, or completely ineffective.
