DARK/Machine
ATK 3600/ DEF 3200
Rank 10: 3 Level 10 Monsters
Cannot be destroyed by battle except with "Number" monsters.

Once per turn: You can inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each Xyz Material attached to this card.

You can detach all Xyz Materials from this card; inflict 800 damage to your opponent for each Xyz Material detached this way.

If this card is Xyz Summoned by Ranking Up "Number 9: Dyson Sphere", it gains these effects
●While this card has Xyz Material attached, your opponent cannot target monsters for attacks, except this one.
● After damage calculation, when this card battles an opponent's monster: You can attach that monster to this card as an Xyz Material.

More burn damage...

Awww, I was just about to do this too... oh well, you beat me to it :p

Anyways, this version is just broken... The burn is just crazy, and its rank-up effect is even crazier. And that last effect... worse than Chaos Atlandis. Instead of equipping, it attaches as material. Sounds a bit like Number C101 though..

And I can't help but notice that this thing looks like even more like a flower...
That's Dyson Sphere for ya... A giant space-satellite-flower thingy.
Kind of disappointed in this card. Should've been more grand both on the art and effect. But that's maybe because Chaos Atlandis is ridiculous. This card can burn like crazy though. Provided you can actually summon it.
You bring up a good point. Dyson Sphere alone is hard enough to bring out as it is. Although Quinton kinda BS'ed into it using that Space Cruiser 9 and the now banned Monster Reborn. And now that brings up a question: How the hell did Quinton bring Dyson Sphere back to summon this thing? I seen some spell listed in the wiki, but was too lazy to check. Guess I'm gonna see the episode and find out...

He used a Trap to revive it with its effect negated.

Seems amusing. It does the reverse of Dyson Sphere, in that while it has materials, your opponent MUST attack this. Ah, now I understand how V tried to inflict Effect Damage twice. It has an effect to deal 500 per Overlay, and another effect that detaches Overlays to burn. Plus an unused effect to attach monsters it battles with as Overlays.

Ridiculous, but C06 is a bit better. Still, this is awesome.

I tried running this in a Xyz-centered deck.

Went through Number 101, Number C101, New Orders 6, Number C40, and finally Number 9 before getting to this.

The extra Xyz Materials were nice though, from its effect. I managed to wipe out 9100 LP in just eff damage.

Plus, I had Gravity Blaster on since 101, so that made its ATK something like 5200.

I actually adored the fact that Dyson Sphere was enormous enough to dwarf a sun. The Chaos version is large enough to dwarf a planet.

The art shows it still has a star at its centre. The problem is the animation of Number 9 has it fit on Earth.

If we assume Number 9 surrounds our star based on its art, C9 surrounds a red supergiant.

Isn't a sun bigger then a planet?

Depends on the star and the planet. In theory you can find a ssmall enough white dwarf and a large enough gas supergiant that said star will be smaller than said planet. And if we count black holes then tons of planets are lrger.

What evilfusion means is Chaos Dyson Sphere was shown to be larger than Earth, but in its first appearance regular Dyson Sphere was larger than a star. However, this ignores the fact that only those episodes atually showed Dyson Sphere in space, and in subsequent appearances it fit within earth's atmosphere. Basically Yugioh sucks at scale.
