DJ TeriyakiBoy Posted November 2, 2013 Report Share Posted November 2, 2013 So I'm making this random deck called "The Strategy Clock" which focuses on winning the duel with a strong defense and without having to sacrifice a lot of Life Points. The two trump cards for this deck are the Spell Cards Clock Tower Prison and Final Countdown. Here is the proposed deck structure: Here are the cards used and the reason why I added it in my Deck... MAIN DECK Monsters (27) 3x Cockadoodledoo - It can be a Level 3 to 5 Tuner Monster. 3x Dark Grepher - It can discard Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World to the Graveyard so that I can Special Summon them. 2x Delta Flyer - This tuner would be Special Summoned from Flying Kamakiri. 2x Evilswarm Mandragora - This card can be Special Summoned fast if my opponent controls already a monster. 2x Flying Kamakiri - It is used to Special Summon Delta Flyer, the safest Level 3 Tuner and can add 1 Level to another monster. 2x Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World - When it is discarded to the Graveyard, it can be Special Summoned and can destroy an opponent's card. 3x Marshmallon - It cannot be destroyed by battle and cause some instant damage to my opponent. 3x Mist Valley Soldier - The safest Level 4 Tuner in my deck and can return any monster that attacked it to its owner's hand. 2x Mobius the Frost Monarch - It can destroy the opponent's Spell and Trap Cards. 1x Sacred Phoenix of Nephythys - If this card is destroyed by a card effect, it can destroy all the opponent's Spell and Trap Cards. 3x The Tricky - It can be easily Special Summoned by discarding a card from your hand. Simple. Spells (13) 2x Clock Tower Prison - It prevents Battle Damage thus serves as the best defense. 2x Final Countdown - You win the Duel in 20 turns and luckily it's not a Continuous Spell Card. 2x Lightning Vortex - It destroys all face-up monsters of your opponent. 1x Magic Reflector - It serves as the Spell Card protector thus it protects Clock Tower Prison from being easily destroyed. 3x Mystical Space Typhoon - It destroys an opponent's Spell or Trap Card 1x Trade-in - If I send Grapha from my hand to the Graveyard, I killed three birds with one stone: Special Summon a monster, destroy an opponent's card, and draw 2 cards. 2x Wave-Motion Cannon - Why wait for 20 turns if I can inflict damage to my opponent fast? Traps ( 8 ) 1x Bottomless Trap Hole - An instant lifesaver when your opponent Summons a strong monster 2x Dimensional Prison - A lifesaver when your opponent uses his strong monster to finish you 3x Magic Cylinder - Your opponent takes the damage that was really intended for you. 2x Mirror Force - It completely destroys all your opponent's attacking strong monsters. EXTRA DECK Synchro Monsters (12) 2x Ancient Fairy Dragon - Very useful defense due to its 3000 DEF. Very useful if I have Mist Valley Soldier, by activating its effect, you can Special Summon the Tuner Monster... Then by tuning this monster to MVS, I can Synchro Summon Star Eater, the best Synchro Monster for me. 2x Jeweled Red Dragon Archfiend - Unlike Red Dragon Archfiend, you can easily destroy all your opponent's monsters like that of Mirror Force. 2x Scrap Dragon - By destroying Sacred Phoenix of Nephythys on my side of the field, I can destroy not only my opponent's monster but also all my opponent's Spell and Trap Cards. 3x Stardust Dragon - Saves your monsters from being destroyed by a card effect. 1x Giganticastle - Nothing special but easy to Tune... The Tricky + Mist Valley Soldier or Delta Flyer (with its effect). Maybe like an emergency monster. 2x Star Eater - Best Synchro Monster yet. No one can negate its Synchro Summon AND it's unaffected by your opponent's card effects. XYZ Monsters (3) 2x Number 39: Utopia - It can negate an opponent's attack. 1x Gagaga Cowboy - Strengthens itself and weakens the target. I mean... who wouldn't want a deck that saves you from taking damage, Summon monsters as defense, and win the Duel? Now, I need more help... which cards should I add or remove to form this strong yet random deck? :) Hope this became useful too. Swift Scarecrow zero guardna Battle fader Threatening Roar Waboku Swords of revealing light Nightmare steel Cage One Day of Peace Gold Sarcophagus Those are just a few of the cards that should be in a Final Countdown deck.
