KLT990
My second card. Effect: Blue-Eyes White Dragon + Stardust Dragon Once per turn, you can either gain a effect of a monster on the field or inflict piercing damage equal to one of your opponent's monsters. Trebuchet MS
"...inflict piercing damage equal to one of your opponent's monsters." I'd normally start by correcting lore, but this bit is particularly hard to understand. Does BEGD inflict piercing damage when attacking Defense Position monsters, or does it inflict effect damage based on a monster's stat?

Trebuchet MS
Ok, let's fix the card lore now. "Blue-Eyes White Dragon + Stardust Dragon Once per turn: You can either gain a effect of a monster on the field or inflict piercing damage equal to one of your opponent's monsters. activate one of these effects. *Target 1 other face-up monster on the field; this card gains that target's effect(s) until the End Phase. *Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK." Made the effect-duplication temporary so that you don't lose the burn effect. So, what happens if BEGD would gain the effect of an Xyz Monster? It won't have Xyz Material to detach, and hence will not be able to use it.
Bender B. Rodríguez
I like the card's art, concept, and overall design. The re-lore is also helpful in understanding the effect.
