Anc. Gr. Gadjiltron Dragon
If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. This card gets extra effects if you Tribute Summon it by Tributing: ● Green Gadget: During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. ● Red Gadget: When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, inflict 400 damage to your opponent. ● Yellow Gadget: If this card destroys your opponent's monster by battle, inflict 600 damage to your opponent. Lets be honest, best mobster ever, am I right? Summonable by Geartown, Spell/Trap protection, potential piercing, potential burn x2, what else could you ask for? Nothing. CandyCollecter31
Because I am going to summon this monster without Geartown and acquire its other effects. Just another 3000 beater that requires me to play field spells when there are a lot of other strategies that are more viable. Pass.
玄魔の王
This used to be a major beater in Sins. Night Express Knight does the job better now, due to less dead draws. So yeah...
Jack of the Lantern
It's still a cool card in my eyes. Remember when high ATK and a good effect made the investment and slight inconsistency decrease worth it? One can say that that sense of investment is totally gone when you see that Extra Deck monsters let you pick whatever you want, whenever you want, with much easier costs, without worrying about dead drawing, and some still complain. The Яingmaster
Nothing better than a good old behemoth to steer the crowd. It stands above its kin by a very simple factor, and that's an absolute lack of pride! Most of its compatriots would never lower themselves to attend a show through cheap, cost-effective means. They HAVE to make grand entrances! Galdjiltron, on the other hand, has no honor. He'll show up out of nowhere on a budget and stab you in the face. And the things he could do with his grand entrance? He never does them! Most of the text on his business card isn't even there. He's really one cheap piece of work.
Maeriberii Haan
Well said, Ringmaster, well said. Also, Gear Town Skill drain beat is a nice, budget, annoying deck.
Shradow
This card makes people hesitate to destroy my Geartown, which I like. This guy indirectly makes it easier to summon my other Ancient Gears. Even on his own he's a good beater, and since I run the three Gadgets in my Ancient Gear deck I can often get his other effects. Toffee.
My IRL.dek, despite being outdated, plays This and Geartown.
Trebuchet MS
To be honest, Geartown is the thing that made AGGD popular, along with AGGD's lack of a "Cannot be Special Summoned" text that appears on nearly every other high-level Ancient Gear monster. goddamnit names are a pain
As said in the first post, we are here to praise the card. =3 Gadjiltron Dragon is one of the best (and one of my favorites, next to Machina Fortress and Ancient Gear Golem himself) machine monsters that are being played in actual machine decks. Run a Geartown in a Machina deck, and you're set. I think actually fusing between Machinas and Gears works well, if you do it right. Love the art and Gadget based effects, despite no one using them. The structure deck was worth buying on eBay a year or two back. 3000 attack beats most Structure deck aces these days, too.
Shradow
Geartown being able to reliably get this guy out is also great because sometimes I just need 1 more material for my UAGG.
