Animorphs RP (Has Begun, Still Accepting)

Ever wish you could do something like this?:

 

This RP will be based on the books by K. A. Applegate and short-time Tv series. The basic idea is that once you touch an alien device known as the Morphing Cube (a Blue Box), you will have the ablility to 'acquire' the DNA of any being you touch. After that, at any time, you can change, or 'morph' into an exact copy of the animal you acquired.

 

The aliens that created this technology are the Andalites. They look like this:

Their mission is to stop the mind controlling Yeerks. Slug-like creatures that enters someone head through the ear canal and flatten themselves over the victim's brain. They control everything the host, or controller does, and has access to any memory. However, the Yeerk must leave its host's body every three days to feed on radiation of Kadrona rays found in the Yeerk pool. If it does not, it will perish. They want to invade the Earth, as humans are the ideal species for them. They go unnoticed, they are already here, infesting the minds of human-Controllers.

 

You can be humans who have discovered the technology of the Andalite in an unhabited construction lot. The Morphing Cube was given to you by a soon-to-be-dead Andalite. You can be Earth's only hope, or betray your own species and become part of the Yeerk Empire. Use the morphing ablility and acquire animals to combat the Yeerks, or help them. A prime place for animal morphs is the local zoo, although access for you is limited. Alternatively, there is a small forest and a farm beyond that, or just your backyard. Also, from time to time, you will enconter other alien species that can be acquired.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I will act at times as the Ellimist, a god-like being, able to bend space and time. He/She/It/They are in favour of stopping the yeerks, but perserving life is its priority. He meddles in others business as little as possible.

 

The rules of Morphing

• you cannot acquire a dead creature
  
• During the acquiring process, the animal will become calm and drowsy
  
• you can become any animal you have touched or acquired at any time
  
• Morphing heals any injury
  
• Morphing takes about two minutes
  
• Clothes cannot be morphed along, only tight fighting items
  
• All animals have instincts, some are uncontrollible urges (hunters instinct, insects dedication to their hive)
  
• You cannot go straight from one morph to another, you must de-morph to your natural form first, then morph again
  
• You cannot remain in a morph for more than 2 hours(we'll say four posts. or otherwise judged by me, you will be given a warning)
  
• If the rule above is broken, you became a nothlit, trapped in that morph forever

During the battle, however, the cube was lost in the Dome Ship's destruction and flung across the galaxy. He currently has orders to track down Andalite Bandits on the planet earth under the secret orders of Visser One. Once he landed, however, his ship was destroyed and all his communication equipment along with it.

Luke woke up sick to his stomach. He was trying to remember what had gone on last, and all came back to in a huge wave.

He had been walking through an old abandoned construction site to get home faster. There were other people there too. Luke supposed they all had the same idea. When out of the sky, a spaceship fall towards earth. It lunched when it hit the ground. Nobody knew what to expect. Then, from the blue ship shapped somewhat like a scorpion came the Andalite. He started to walk out of his craft, but fell to the ground. We all gathered around him. He told us of the threat to take over the human race, the Yeerks. his name was Elfangor, and he had chased the Yeerks to this pat of the galaxy. He had instructed Luke to fetch something from the ship, a small blue box. We all gathered to together and placed a hand on the box, and Efangor explained to us the morphing ability he had just given us.

Then the Yeerks arrived, in two cochroach-like ships and a menacing Blade ship. We were told to flee and we did. Luke turned back when he Visser Three talking. He another andalite, this one Yeerk controlled. It changed into a monster and attacked Elfangor. Luke turned away when He saw the huge jaws close on the wounded andalite.

 

Luke still couldnt believe what had happened the previous night. He thought he was going crazy. Then his cat Whiskers climbed his bed and rested on his chest.

As soon as Zack woke up the next morning, he got dressed and ran out the door to find an animal to form into,he found a canary up on a telephone pole and he climbed the pole to where the bird was,"Well lets see if it works..." Zack studied the canary intently, then when he got a clear picture of the canary he looked at it in his mind... then he noticed he was changing after about two minutes he looked at his arms they were wings!! He then started to fly up into the sky.

Reil looked around. It was still dark outside, and would stay so for at least a few hours. Perfect time to hunt. A few days had passed since he had found the cube, and he had already began to understand it's true power. He opened his window - he lived on the lower floor of the house - and jumped out. It was only a two-feet fall, and he landed safely.

Then, he started to run.

Luke just pet his cat. He wanted to forget what had happened. He focused on its tail, its soft gray and black fur. Its whiskers twitched and the cat seemed to calm. When Luke took his hand away, Whiskers jumped back down. Luke continued to focus on the cat, wondering why it had gone into a trance like that. And then the ground seemed to be a whole lot closer then it did before, his clothes became baggy. He looked down at his hands. They had become paws. Whiskers bolted from the room, for where Luke had been a minte ago, a cat that looked exactly like Whiskers stood.

Zack was flying in the thermals he thought what Luke was up too.So Zack flew over to Luke's house and he hit what seemed to be air but instead was a window "" Then Zack noticed that was two Whiskers.

Why am i a cat first of all?", then what happened from last night ran through his mind once more, a flood of realisation hit Luke as he discovered all off it was true. Then he heard a voice, he recognized it from the construction site as one of his friends from schoool had been there.

Luke tried to think of how to get back to his own body, and it started to happen. His forelegs grew into arms and his gray fur melted into smooth poink skin. When Luke had finished and was back in human form, he realized that his clothes were still lying on the floor. He raced to put them on. then went to the window to open it up.
