Nathanael D. Striker
Rules 1. All Leaderboard and Tournament Rules Apply 2. First to 3 votes or most by 11:59 pm Pacific Time on October 27th wins. 3. Votes must have a valid reason. 4. Winner gets 1 Rep from loser. 5. I have the right to add rules. Card Requirement Create a generic Spirit Synchro monster Card A 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish both it and this card. At the end of the next Standby Phase of your turn, return any monsters banished by this effect to the field. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Special Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to the Extra Deck. You can only control 1 "Lor-ah, caster of the spirited wolfs" on the field. Card B 1 Tuner monster + 1 or more non-tuner monsters During the End Phase of the turn this card was Special Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to the Extra Deck, and if you do; draw 1 card. When this card is Synchro Summoned, declare 1 Attribute. Other monsters of the declared attribute cannot activate their effects until your next standby phase. This effect applies even if this card is no longer face-up on the field. Once per turn, you can reveal the top 2 cards of your deck and return them to the top or bottom of your deck in any order. goddamnit names are a pain
My vote goes to Card B, the goddess. The effect is simply awesome, you get to draw cards, and look at your next draws. You can stun opponents monsters, spam both effects with De-Synchro, and its a Level 9 with one tuner and one or more non-tuners. Beats Trishula any day, while seeming balanced. The other card's ATK sounds like a pain, and is slightly confusing. Is it ever actually returned to the extra deck? Why summon a monster just to temporarily lose it? Sorry card A, my vote goes to B. 宇佐見 蓮子@C94
whyyyyyyyy Anyway, my vote goes to Card B, because it's effect actually makes sense. Card A is essentially that Interdimensional Matter Transporter but somehow turned into a -3. You use 2 Monsters to Synch it, banish 1 and itself, wait until your next standby phase and then lose it at the end of the turn. ....why? I think what you're going for is a card that banishes one card your opponent controls per turn, but the way you word it, it's effect can only be used once. The effect of this card returning those monsters to the field does not count as a Special Summon, so you can't trigger it's SS effect again. Card B is kinda overkill, but it's pretty boss. Free +1, effect negation and Mage Seer(?)-ish effect makes for a great Spirit monster. But, for me at least, it's kinda too much. The last effect is unneeded IMO. Northern Sage
Card B has great lore and effect, and needs to be pretty powerful for a level 9. Card A is made impractical by only being triggered when summoned and generally outclassed by BRD. It doesn't need to be triggered by Synchro Summon, but getting it into the graveyard by itself is a headache and a half. It's a waste of resources. Card B wins.
