The Warden
Pokemon Ninja Force Safety and serenity for all Pokemon, that is the dream. And the dreamers of the dream are never far away. Far off in the Central Sea lies the small [acronym=Pronounced Crowze]Kroze Region[/acronym]; an island Region consisting of two towns, one city and a village, otherwise known as: Kastelle City in the north, Aspear Town (known for its Aspear Berry farms) in the west, Sombre Town in the south, & Retirement Village to the east, where old and retired Pokemon Champions come to spend their final days. Though different in scale and purpose, they all connect to the world. Kanto and Johto can be accessed by boat from Aspear Town. Sinnoh can be connected by boat from Kastelle City. Kalos again by boat from Retirement Village, and Hoenn for the last time by boat from Sombre Town. Those from Unova land in the airport outside of Kastelle City. But these locales and facts are not central to the plot (much), no, not at all.For they are simply a distraction for the humans; a distraction that works all too well. In the centre of the Kroze region in the vast and unforgiving Ancient Jungle that once covered the entire island. Powerful and rare Pokemon inhabit this jungle, and they are not at home to invaders. These powerful creatures make the perfect guards for the absolute centre. It is here where the story starts. For you see, in the centre of the Ancient Jungle is the old Golden Tower, one of the many roosts built long ago to Ho-oh. Now abandoned by its deity and by humankind, it is here where certain skilled Pokemon gather. They are the Pokemon Ninjas, Pokemon who from ancient times learned the way of Ninjutsu alongside humans. Eventually straying from humanity, the original grandmasters settled in the Golden Tower to begin their great work: Bringing peace to all regions. However, they were few, so very few, and the world so vast. How could they protect it all? Why, it was simple really: They would train others in Pokejutsu, to allow peace for the world. And now, nearing the eve of the next year, a new class of recruits is in session to begin the great work. Try not to disappoint us.
You’re a Pokemon Ninja, ‘nuff said.

The Kroze Region is relatively small compared to the other Regions, and is vastly underpopulated. To date, the Population of Kroze is 896... Oh wait, 897; Madame Lucianna just had her baby five minutes ago. So, to better adapt to the Region, let us learn of it. So here’s the skinny of the Towns.
Kastelle City is a small scale city when in compared to the other ones, but it remains the most populated in the Kroze Region, housing 626. Kastelle City is separated into the North, East, South and West Metros. Housing is primarily within in the South and West Metros, though the more upper-class housing is situated in the North to get the best view of the sparkling ocean. Much of the industrial areas are contained within the West and North areas, but they are quite heavily separated from the housing. The primary industry is the purification and melting of platinum ores that get sent from the Sinnoh Region, as well as gold & silver samples from Johto. The East Metro houses a vast shopping centre, known as the Silver Star Mall. Within it are various large scale Supermarkets, with some smaller specialist grocers. Fashion is all the rage in Kastelle, and so the vast majority of the Shops there are into the latest trends that change roughly, every ten minutes or so. Even the slightest change in ensemble will spark a new and immediate change in the fashion trend. The Shining Star also houses the Grand Cinema, which houses, get this, a whole two screens that film movies straight from PokeStar Studios from Unova. You have simply never dreamed until you’ve been to one.

Aspear Town is a farming community, and though it is well known for its Aspear Berries, the farms produce the vast majority of Berries that get shipped across the world. Aspear Town is also home to the largest Moo Moo Farm on the planet, housing no less than one hundred Miltank that get milked daily. Aside from this, there is not much going on in Aspear Town.

Sombre Town, also known as the Town of Endless Rain, is home to the Pokemon Graveyard. Each tombstone is emblazoned with the name of a Pokemon that passed away all over the world. Ghost Pokemon are quite at home in this area, and they guard it fiercely from those who would disturb the peace of the dead. Aside from highly possessive Ghost Pokemon, Sombre is surprisingly a large scale producer of glasswork and jewellery, using the gemstones sent from Sinnoh and Unova as well as gold, silver and platinum forged from Kastelle City to make beautiful pieces of jewellery. A famous Goldsmith by the name of Mr. Cobalt lives here.

The Retirement Village is the last human occupied point in Kroze, and it is a quiet and gentle place full of many old timers who have had their time in the spotlight. Be careful here, as asking the wrong question or answering it in the wrong way dooms you to several hours of being told how they trained across their respective region before taking on the Champion. And despite the Alzheimers, they remember each and every little detail of their journey, right down to how long they waited to find the Pokemon with the right Nature. This is and Kastelle are the only occupied areas with direct access to the ocean, with a very lovely Tentacool-proof beach easily accessed from nearly anywhere in the Village. Though, be careful of the Shellders, and old ladies in bikinis.

The Ancient Forest is a deep and mysterious forest full of powerful and dangerous Pokemon. So very little is truly known about it. Though people often say they see people communing with the Pokemon, but when pursued they vanish into thin air.

1. Advanced Clause is in effect, y’know, like always.2. Your Character will start off as a First Stage or Second Stage Pokemon. Only under a VERY rare circumstance will I allow a Third Stage.3. Only a specific few Pokemon can be Ninjas. If you want to know if the one you want is acceptable, PM me to ask. Though most Ghost, Poison and Dark types will be easily acceptable.4. I (and a co-host (IF I get one)) pretty much get last say.5. Attempting to drive along the plot is fine SO LONG as you confirm with me via PM first. Sub-plots are your problem. 6. There might be an Evil Team, IF I feel like adding one.7. If you have any problems, take it up with me. If you have problems with another player, b***h at each other via PM; I don’t want Rinne coming in here whilst I’m away to tell you to shut your cake holes.8. I will think of other rules to put in… 9. Oh wait. To ensure you have read and understood my rules, type in “I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH” (in those exact words and Case) as your Character Quote.

Pokejutsu is the utilization and enhancement of moves known by the Pokemon. Most Pokemon are only prevalent in one specific branch of Pokejutsu, such as Water-Types being very skilled with Water Pokejutsu, but unable to use Fire Pokejutsu. There is also a more generic branch that any of the Pokemon can learn. Here’s an example of a generic:Pokejutsu Art of Universal Speech It allows the user to speak any language known, including human-talk. I’ll leave it up to you to come up with Pokejutsus, so long as you don’t go crazy. Save that for the end game.

“Character Quote here” Username: Character Name: Pokemon Species: (What Pokemon are you. If you read the rules, you’ll know what specifications you need.) Gender: Personality: (You can add in a Nature trait, but you have to build up on it. 1 & ½ Paragraphs at least or no RP for you.) History: (Just a little backstory to explain why you decided to join up. Remember the more plot heavy and schmaltzy it is, the more likely you are to be able to drive the plot a little. Don’t hold back, but don’t go crazy.) Pokejutsu: (You will all start with your main type Pokejutsu, but some of you, depending on Pokemon, may gain access to other types. So to name it, just say Water Pokejutsu, or whatever type you are.) Hold Item: (You won’t have one, but I’m keeping this here anyways. You can fill it in if the item is useless and also a keepsake.)

I’ll be using this to keep track of all your crazy Jutsus as well as my own.

I might be hopeful, but whatever. WhyDidIJoinThis-.-
“I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH”Username: TehTeaKingCharacter Name: VengeancePokemon Species: HaunterGender: MalePersonality: At first, Vengeance had always had more of some calm, and gentle trait in him. This shown in his devotion to help Cubone, and any other pokémon, for that matter, who needed it. He took great pleasure in this and he cherished the chance to help a fellow pokémon, or human for that matter, although human company was rare. Since Cubone's passing he has become more of a dark and serious pokémon, preferring the company of himself, always to be found in some corner or other, or maybe not anywhere at all. He loves the night, feeling at peace, the darkness giving him comfort and protection. This coupled with his fondness of fire, her gentle warmth, her slight crackle, and her curious dancing. It's on calm nights by campfire he can be found at his best. But perhaps he will always search for vengeance, but he knows not whom he seek it upon, only humans, this along with his lack of knowledge on human kind- builds a prejudicial mindset against them.History: Haunter had always been a peaceful and loving, joker of some sorts. Before evolving into Haunter, he had been a Gastly of course, but the pokemon which he spent time most with was not one of his kind. No, it was a Cubone. After finding the baby Cubone all alone on the outskirts of the jungle, Gastly took it upon himself to look after and care for this orphaned child, she would cry every night for her mother- with no avail. Despite this, Gastly would always be there to care and nurture for Cubone, as if brother and sister they were, and when it was time for Gastly to evolve, he chose not to- lest he look different in his sister's eyes. One day he had been picking berries, the leppa ones she liked, yet when returning to find Cubone for dinner, she was nowhere to be found. He cried out for her for hours and hours, through that thunderous night, until he had discovered her befallen dear body. They spoke their last words to each other, as she gave him her red scarf which she held ever dearest to her. He held her cold hands in attempt to comfort, and tears of rage did fall from his eyes, as she muttered her last cursed word. Humans. He made sure of it her burial was proper and just, and on that day vowed vengeance upon his dear sister's death. The very vengeance he bestowed upon his name, under his new evolution- Haunter, with Cubone's crimson scarf worn upon him.Pokejutsu: Ghost PokejutsuHold Item: Red Scarf
Still to be finished, don't have time at the moment. It's been a while since I saw a Pokémon roleplay involving us playing pokémanz, and ones I've been in previously have been awesome, so I'm hoping this follows the line :D I'll be finishing the app later, if that's okay with you. Just wondering, we are allowed multiple jutsu right? (I did read the first post fully, I was just wondering)

The Warden
@Tea: Yeah, whilst your Haunter would focus on Ghost-based Jutsu, which will typically involve illusory tactics, he will probably learn Poison as a subset when he hits Gengar. @Sonic: Yes, a reservation is fine. WhyDidIJoinThis-.-
Okay, I don't plan on him evolving though to be honest, the only time he would evolve would be if he finally avenges the Cubone, but I may have something planned for if that happens anyway. So I may just stick to the ghost jutsu.

Mugendramon
“[acronym="Moving like a leaf is all there is to my life anymore."]I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH[/acronym]” Username: Mugendramon Character Name: Caligula Pokemon Species: Sceptile Gender: ♂ Personality: Caligula changed deeply when he was released into the wilds of Kroze. His former self was whimsical; he enjoyed toying with opponents and filling them with despair through hopeless, dragged-on fighting. He was ruthless, and arrogant because of it. Now, with nothing left for him in life... he is as close to feeling empty as possible. His behaviour no longer fits the name... he gave him all that time ago; his demeanor is stoic and collected. His speech reflects an unsettling mixture of calm and void. Caligula is no longer attached to any living creature besides the plants. However, Pokemon approaching him are not treated with indifference: he remembers having had hope sometime, as well as crushing so many others'. The art of Univeral Speech he had a lot of difficulty with; he never once went to anyone for help. But he mastered it, and now uses it, instead of his dead eyes, to communicate with those who seek him for anything. History: Caligula was a Hoenn Champion's starter Pokemon. Well... not his first. His trainer had already failed to beat the Elite Four in the past. With Caligula, he was determined to win. And he did. He and his trainer breezed through the Hoenn Region's gyms, and the Elite Four were no problem this time. But after that all was over. Refusing to enter the Battle Frontier, the new Champion sat on his fat ass all day in the champion room, waiting for someone to beat the Dragon user Drake who he figured also sat bored in that room. Caligula was always bored. Then, one day, a new challenger appeared in the final room. Caligula lost, his trainer was wiped out. His time as champion was not only short, but over. With nothing else to do, the former Hoenn Champion retired to Kroze island to live a peaceful life... no longer surrounded by Pokemon. That was how Caligula got released. He begged his trainer. He did not want to go away from him. None of his other Pokemon did, but the rest accepted it quickly enough and disappeared forever. Caligula wanted to stay with his trainer so bad... this man had raised him since he first cheated his pokeball from Professor Birch, as a beggar pretending to be a kid. This Caligula never understood but he never really cared... his trainer had always shown understanding and most of all, had always left his bloodthirst run wild. And now, with a saddened expression and a stone-cold mentality, he was simply letting him go. Caligula snapped. He fatally injured his trainer and ran away, only to instantly regret it and hide while they took him away, Arceus knows where. Now that he thought about it, he had nothing left in the world. All of his friends were gone, and now his trainer was, too. So... he wandered. He went into the forest, and sat there for days, weeks, months. Time passed, and he barely moved. He refused to fight. Eventually, he forgot every move he knew. He was still a strong pokemon, but he had no fighting skills anymore. He was fully dead inside, and would have probably forever been, if he had not witnessed a tragedy one day. A group of humans grabbed a few pokemon from the forest, and threw them into a truck right in front of his eyes. Rage boiled inside him and he stood up to them, a full whopping five feet. He was kicked the fuck away after they threw a few pokeballs at him. They left, and Caligula realized he still had to fight. But he knew no moves, and learning them through Discs or by fighting more was not an option. Instead, he asked around the forest. He was told about the Tower, about the arts of Pokejutsu. And he learned them. He was taught very little, and was given a vague ultimatum: "You begin a path anew, and only you can guide yourself through it." He could also swear he heard really fast whispering, something like "you'llhavetocomehelpusifweeverneedyourhelp", but he was not sure he really did and so simply brushed it off. As he left the tower, void came back to him. He still had no purpose. He had no desire to train, either... he was done harming others, as well as fucking grinding. So he laid his back against a tree just outside the tower, and watched as other Pokemon came and learned what he had, as well as leaving eager to learn more. Caligula was a shell of his former self, and here he sat for a long time... practically ignored by anyone who did see him, like he were part of the scenery. He grew cold. And reacted coldly with a nod as they called him into the Tower once more. Pokejutsu: Grass Pokejutsu, Pokejutsu Art of Universal Speech. Hold Item: PP Up - took him from his trainer's bag as a final fuck you before leaving him to die. Has no damn idea what it is or does though. Super Chaos Sonic
Ahhhhhhh, I understand now. EDIT:
“[acronym='Continuing the legacy my great-great grandfather left...that's my choice. Look out world, the grandson of Masao has arrived!!']I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH[/acronym]”Username: Spectre SonicCharacter Name: VashPokemon Species: RioluGender: Male
Vash has an adamant nature to him, and it truly shows in everything he does. The spirit of never giving up no matter what the situation, his mind never straying from the path its set on...it truly describes, not just Vash's personality, but his great-great grandfather, Masao as well. However, a trait that he picked up from his father, was that he also shares a very rash nature, wanting to charge into a situation guns-blazing (metaphorically speaking). This becomes a problem if he is out matched in any way, shape, or form, being the fact that he will decide to try to take whoever is in his way by himself. Vash does follow the directions given, if only diverting from the orders slightly if need be. Within a group, Vash does get along with others very well, even though he never exactly had friends his own age in the pack he lived in. He tries his best to befriend everyone he can, but if he knows he can't, then he backs away without a question or reason why. Vash, like his great-great grandfather and father before him, he's a strong believer in never leaving anyone behind in anything. Even if the mission would not allow it, Vash will try to do his best to make sure his allies will get back safely.

Vash had never been a trainer's Pokemon, no...he just lived on Kroze island with the pack of Lucarios that resided in the small forest area at the very mouth of the Ancient Forest. The Lucario pack more or less acted as guides and even guardians for those who entered the Ancient Forest, which was the reason the pack's number slowly began to dwindle down in size. As a result, Vash's father was one of the Lucario who never returned after he was guiding travelers through the Ancient Forest. Leaving him only with his mother, Vash became saddened and even alone. However, his mother, gave her son stories that would change his outlook on the world. Pokemon Ninjas, Vash was told the stories and heroic tales of these strong Pokemon that trained at the Golden Tower and protected the world by use of their Pokejustsu. But one tale remained in his mind above all other: the tale of his great-great grandfather, a shiny Lucario by the name of Masao. A truly great Lucario Pokemon Ninjas that walked the face of the planet was indeed Masao, who took on a group of enemy Mienshao and Mienfoos single handedly when his allies were unable to assist him. These stories and even hearing how his great-great grandfather was an amazing ninja, cause the gears in young Vash's head to turn. A choice was made on that day, the anniversary of his father's disappearance: young Vash would go to the Golden Tower to train his hardest to become a Pokemon Ninja, to follow in Masao's footsteps. With his mind made up, Vash bid his mother and his pack farewell, as he traveled to the Golden Tower.
Pokejutsu: Fight Pokejutsu, Pokejutsu Art of Universal SpeechHold Item: Masao's Necklace - An item that Masao once held when he was a ninja. It has become a keepsake to Vash's family, being passed down to him.

“[acronym='You don't get it...I'm only in it to end those Sevipers. Nothing more...']I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH[/acronym]”Username: Spectre SonicCharacter Name: NobuPokemon Species: ZangooseGender: Male
Before the Seviper attack, Nobu was a kind and gentle Zangoose, enjoying his life to the fullest as he hung out with his brother. These feelings remain within the Zangoose's heart, although pushed deep down to make way for the hatred and anger he has towards the Sevipers that killed his brother. Nobu doesn't see eye to eye well with anyone, especially if they aren't able to help him to achieve his goals or hold him back from reaching said goals. The Zangoose isn't exactly a team player and prefers to work alone, saying that with anyone else's help on missions and such would be slowing him down and only wasting their talents and energy. In a way, Nobu can be a bit sadistic and at some times a masochist, enjoying the pain as he knows it'll make him stronger. If anyone mentions anything about knowing something about the Sevipers, the Zangoose looses it and demands in a cold manner where they are. Because of this, most Pokemon have even seen the blood-lust in his eyes when he hears about these things.

Nobu lived a great life with his brother as they lived on the north side of Aspear Town, helping around the farming community when needed. It wasn't they're job, but the locals enjoyed the fact that they were eager to help out around the farms. Nobu and his brother had it made, given great food and even being allowed to stay in Aspear Town itself. However, good things always come to an end... The migration pattern of a group of Seviper took a turn for the worse, as they began to migrate to where Nobu and his brother had been living and soon a turf war began to break loose between the group of Sevipers and the two Zangoose. The turf war raged on for a while, until Nobu and his brother fought them off, watching them slither in fear...but this fight cost something dear. Nobu's brother, struck by multiple Poison Fangs...and without any way of treating it right then and there, Nobu's brother died right before his eyes. Nobu, holding his brother's severed claw, watched over the grave he made as he moved from the location, running through the forest trying to find those cold-blooded monsters. He didn't find the Sevipers, but he found something that would definitely aid him: the Golden Tower...home of the Pokemon Ninjas. Surely, these Pokemon would teach him the skills needed...to gain the revenge he sought.
Pokejutsu: Normal Pokejutsu, Pokejutsu Art of Universal SpeechHold Item: Zangoose Claw - This Zangoose claw happens to be from his own deceased brother. AnubisHaxx
“I LIEK BUTTERSCOTCH” Username: AnubisHaxx Character Name: Cairo Pokemon Species: Riolu Gender: Male
Rash Nature (raises Special ATK and lowers Special DEF) - Cairo has a habit of jumping into situations without thinking, which can often get him into trouble. He has a knack for mischief and he is very playful and energetic. He is also one of the most loyal Riolu ever, a trait which sealed the deal in joining the Pokemon Ninjas. Cairo would have otherwise lost out due to his recklessness. He prefers freedom to do what he wants over doing what he is born into, but he is willing enough to follow the rules that come with certain things he wants to do, because he doesn't have anything to prove by being a total rebel and not doing anything anyone says to make a point. He enjoys seeing new things, and constantly explores. He has a habit of running around cities and risking getting caught by a human. Luckily he can outrun most humans, so he'll often mess with a random human by playing pranks on it or antagonizing it for kicks.

Cairo was born a Riolu on the outskirts of Lucario Kingdom in Sinnoh. He was a very rash Pokemon from the start, always getting into things and getting into trouble, even getting into fights with random wild Pokemon. Cairo has never seen the inner metropolis of the Kingdom, and he has no intention to. While every Riolu aspired to be a guardian like all the Lucario, Cairo wanted to see the world and the aura he was born to see it emit. It was for this reason he left his home as a fledgling and quickly grew to be a hardened fighter and explorer over time. He traveled to Johto and Kanto, Hoenn, and Kalos, all without getting nabbed by a trainer or collector or fan or syndicate. It was during a trip through Viridian Forest when Riolu came across the woman being chased by a syndicate that gave him a letter to give to a boy at a certain place at a certain time on any given day. Had he known to go in the opposite direction he took, the letter may have already been delivered, if he could avoid all the freakishly strong wild Pokemon there. But he didn't know that, because he had never heard of this place before, and so he set off to find it in the wrong direction. For awhile he believed he found the place when he discovered Kroze and the ancient forest in the center of the island where he assumed this boy might be. He entered the forest without a second thought, and was immediately confronted by the group known locally as the Pokemon Ninjas. After pleading his case, Cairo listened to the Ninjas explain their purpose there on the island, and offered him a spot among their ranks. To think that a young Riolu would be so loyal as to travel thousands of miles to deliver a letter was beyond belief in the understanding of loyalty. He chose to stay and be one of the Ninjas, even after finding out that this was not the place he was looking for, so that he could grow strong enough to find the boy that he promised a stranger he would deliver a letter to that he wasn't even allowed to read or open.
Pokejutsu: Fighting Jitsu, [unacquired], [unacquired], [unacquired], [unacquired], Art of Universal Speech Hold Item: Bluesky Mail - a letter given to Cairo a long time ago by a woman being chased by an evil syndicate of trainers. The woman said hundreds of lives hang in the balance of that letter, and it was the last thing she said before she told Cairo to flee as she was captured by the syndicate. He still holds onto the letter to this day.

The Warden
Okay, now that I have the time, it's analysis time. Spectre: M'kay, I find that your Personalities only account to 1 Paragraph in total, which is under the 1 1/2 Paragraph requirement. Also, I know it sounded vague but the held item has to be useless & and a Keepsake. A Black Belt is useful, as is a Quick Claw. I can't offer a change for the Black Belt, so you're on your own, but the Quick Claw could be changed to his brother's actual claw. Anywho: Fill out those Personalities a bit more and change your held items to something more useless. Strife: Okay, again, the Personality is way too short, only a Paragraph at best. I would like that filled out some more. I rather like the backstory, vague, ambiguous and just ripe for me to abuse. However, you didn't follow the rules. I'm sorry to say but that is one strike against you.
