thanonyx
Shadows of the Damned is a psychological horror-comedy video game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Electronic Arts for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 video game consoles. The game follows the story of Garcia Hotspur, a Mexican demon hunter who goes to the City of the Damned to battle its evils in order to save his girlfriend Paula. Garcia is accompanied by Johnson, a former demon that assists him. Johnson can transform into a variety of skeletally-themed objects to assist Garcia, including projectile weapons, a torch, and a motorcycle. The game takes place in the Underworld (basically Hell) which is, understandably, full of demons that will jump at the chance to kill, and possibly eat, Garcia. Both Garcia and Johnson must battle the armies of the damned in order to rescue Paula and leave the Underworld alive. The only problem is Fleming, the lord of demons in charge of the underworld. He is extremely strong, large, and boasts of his apparent invincibility. Fleming is the one who kidnaps Paula at the start of the game and kicks off the events that put Garcia and Johnson in their little predicament. The game is full of excitement, horror, and since it's a Suda51 game it also has really crude humor (keep an ear open for a lot of penis jokes). I recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Suda51 or just a fan of games where you can dive head first into hell and blow the heads off all the demons you want. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aEoJsJGU3jM
