Hello

Destiny Bound

Recommended Posts

I have recently joined these forums, went straight ahead, put a set of cards out, then realized this "Introductions" section was here.  :D

So anyways, here I am.

One question, though:

"Just how balanced does a card have to be to get entry to the 'Realistic' cards section?"

For example, my Warg cards (based off the vargr of Norse mythology) I made, I released in the "Other Cards" sections because they weren't totally balanced, but when I looked at the Realistic Cards sections... there were hundreds of cards even less balanced than my cards! After a bit of snooping, I found that the warg cards would be better fitted for the "Pop Culture" section. But, despite this, I would still like to know the answer to my above questions for future cards.

Thanks!

Welcome to YCM.

Hope you enjoy your stay here.

Anyway, you can just post in Realistic cards when you want to; just make sure your cards are balanced enough that if Konami ever prints them (hypothetically), they don't end up getting banned on release. It's okay to underpower some cards b/c there won't be any complaints about being OP but just keep in mind that if cards are ever released, people may not use it.

Essentially, don't post any new god cards (we already have Slifer, Obelisk, etc.), make sure your cards don't have ridiculous stats and check to make sure your cards don't give any more support to Decks that already got a lot of support (i.e .Dragon Rulers, etc.); the last part will require you to know a bit about the metagame but don't worry about it.
