D.A._Sakuyamon
With the 1.2 update being out for a few weeks I figured it was time to start talking about Tarraria again? Anyone still play it? How are you liking the latest update? For me, I'v been having a blast. My character can tank "The Eater of Worlds" which is kinda funny to me cause the other bosses are harder for me to fight.
The Warden
Eater is uber easy with Hallowed. I'm having a blast with it though, as I've picked up a full Chlorophyte set, gotten both of Paladin's items and recently beat Planterra

I'v got a full set of Crimson Armor, Muramasa, Water Bolt <3, & a Mythical Space Gun as my goto combat set. I'v also got a few nice accessories to, Which includes Mana Flower, Blue Horseshoe in a Balloon, & Lightning Boots. I'v got a few others but I cant remember them at the top of my head. Tormented
I would love to play it more but like Minecraft the fun lies with playing with other people and I have no one to play it with.
The Warden
You should have the Harpoon or the Blue Moon, they deal a mean amount of damage. Also, if you have/had a Night's Edge DO NOT sell it. It's key in crafting one of the most powerful weapons in the game

Also, if you have/had a Night's Edge DO NOT sell it. It's key in crafting one of the most powerful weapons in the game. The Harpoon & maces in general are not my style. Their controls are to floaty for me. & I know you need it to make True Night's Edge and then that for the Terra Blade. Speaking of which I just need one more weapon to make Night's Edge just need to get my hands on some Hellstone Bars.
The Warden
Hellstone bars are easy, it was sad how the Underworld didn't get harder in 1.
D.A._Sakuyamon
Finally got the diamonds necessary for the Platinum Staff and reforged it to be mythical. :D A 31 Damage, strong knockback, fast cast speed that costs only 3 mana per shot isn't to bad for a prehard mode weapon. :p Also got Demon Scythe and reforged it to Mythical Status. So magic wise I'm ready for hard mode. Though I guess I could use the Mana Shackles Accessory. My Above Ground Mushroom Biome is almost ready, same for my Corrupted Biome. The Warden
You'll get some better spells from the Hard Mode dungeon mobs, which is two spells: one cast a shadow beam that bounces off walls for a decent distance, and the other fires a large sphere which laser spams single targets pretty rapidly. But, as I said before, get Paladin's Hammer ASAP, it has damage comparable to the Terra Blade
Kazooie
I started play Terraria for the first time. I have NO idea what I'm doing. I've been digging underground. I made a furnace and I have like, 39 copper bars now and a couple tungsten and platinum ore. I did find this building underground and found a snowball cannon inside, so that's become my main weapon so far.

Your going to need to find some lead/iron (based on world gen) to really progress since you cant make much without an anvil. Also that snowball cannon is really good. It's like a much weaker minishark with easier to obtain ammo. You should also start making homes for your npc buddies. In order for your buddies to move in, you need to make a room for each one and most need a specific condition to meet in addition to the room being built to show up. A home is only consider to be a home when it has these conditions met. It needs to be an interior setting. Meaning you must place walls in the background and cover a large portion of the home with it. You have a light source in the home, a single torch will suffice. Lastly, you need both a chair and a table(a crafting table does count). You can check to make sure your home is suitable by going into your inventory and clicking on the home icon just above the armor & accessory slots on the right side. Clicking that will change those to show what npcs are currently in the world will (if nearby) show which homes they occupy. Click on the ? and drag it to the home you think meet the requirements and click in it(the interior I mean). If it's suitable you'll get a message that say's, "This house is suitable" otherwise it'll say it isn't or that it's already occupied. Anyways, I hoped this was helpful. ^^;
Kazooie
It did help! I'ev got a couple NPC's now and I'm just waiting for a few more. I do have a question though. I summoned the Eye of Cthulu and started fighting it when it spawned. About a few minutes later, a second one spawned. Is that normal or a bug? It was kinda hard for me to live two, but I could have taken down one easy between Tungsten Bow and an Ice Sword. x-x
VictorSempra
I've had this for a good long while. Me and my friends played the crap out of it at the beginning, and most of them have done everything in 1.2. Me, on the other hand...I can't stand to play it. Mostly it's the fact that normal mode monsters hit me like a truck, or the worlds I keep generating have so little ore I can't get anywhere. One of my friends got on my world and helped me some, even dug into hell...but I still can't bring myself to play it.

Basically, what happened was you summoned it on a night where it was already going to naturally spawn.
Kazooie
Yeah, that can happen. Basically, what happened was you summoned it on a night where it was already going to naturally spawn. Yeah, that was kinda mean. xD Anyway! I've got a full set of Crimson Armor and Meteor Armor, I have a Double Jump + Rocket Boots, the Minishark, I've beaten Skeletron and I've explored a little bit of what appears to be hell. Does Hell or Dungeon come first? :'o

Does Hell or Dungeon come first? :'o Dungeon technically since you can only get the key needed to open the chests in hell from there. I'v been playing the "Dark Souls" mod for the past week or so. It's so dam addicting. Q.Q
D.A._Sakuyamon
Found a way to get into the jungle temple Pre-Hard mode so now my goal is fighting the Golem. Got a few idea's to help with the fight, such as setting up a bunch of explosives and boulders. Also using the temples basic traps to my advantage. D.A._Sakuyamon
*Update* I'v basically mastered the Jungle Dungeon. No longer do I get boxed in by annoying Flying Snakes who kill me in 4 hits. No longer do I land on nearly unavoidable spikes. Finally, the Golem and I are on nearly equal footing in terms of kills. He killed 3x in a row due to a faulty arena on my part. Then I perfected my arena and killed him 3x in a row as well. He then killed me again cause I got cocky and changed my arena unnecessarily + I was out of buff potions.

You get a bit of an idea of the kill box........errr I mean arena with that screen shot.
