are the diancie etc for real? I mean, they are appearing at ridiculously low levels for legendaries but idk?

 

Also: I am all about the two vivillon patterns in those screen shots, I hope they're real because omg Pokeball pattern and festive party pattern :3

 

I know this is late, but I really wanted to comment on this, since they are hacked to appear they appeared assumably instead of Route 2 Pokemon.

Also, doing a nuzlocke of X. Get to Ramos and his Gogoat that I swear is the spawn of the devil. I decided to leave Machamp at the PC and brought a Wobbeffet I got in Reflecting Cave. Counter it. This is the first time I had no trouble with Ramos whatsoever.

I had both Delphox AND Charizard on my team and didn't need either to crush him. Ferroseed just destoryed him with his insane defense stats and curse + gyro ball.

In my past two runs against him that Gogoat has both got critical hit take downs against my counters to him, and in one run I just didn't a really solid counter.

 

There's always that one gym leader for me, but it's never been a Grass one.

In GTS, I gave my extra Zygarde to some poor soul who offered a Vivillon I didn't have yet. Today, I got an Yveltal for my Spheal.

Gyms were pretty easy for me, but I had the Exp. Share on the whole time, so I was way overleveled. When I get around to playing X, I'm not going to use it at all until post-game and see if there's any change in difficulty.

I had it off until the 3rd gym or so and even with 4 pokemon I was a tad under leveled. So, yea.....keep that in mind.

IMO there isn't a HUGE different between 69 base speed and 54 so getting extra HP and ATK makes me think Super Size is better. While I'm not sure how good it will be it should be decent at the very least.

If you really work yourself up in Hotel Richissime, the pay is crazy. 150 000 per day. The tasks aren't really that difficult if you know what you're doing. Just write everything down for Room service, there are only two beds on 5F for making beds and you might get stuck with easier ones if you fail- but with the same pay, and Lost and Found, well, it's lost and found. Just hope to god you don't get something like Floral Hand Mirrors.

The hotel has another pay level? Well given my X game is poor because Ultra Balls and the Boutique that is good news.

When I didn't use the Exp. Share, I was only underleveled for Grant and couldn't beat him until I got more even. Amaura wasn't so bad though, it was Tyrunt. Anyway, I was still overleveled during everything after that, besides the Champion, which I still crushed.

I did, however, choose to battle when I didn't have to a lot. Like failing to get a fishing shiny and do the Battle Chateau.

Oh yeah, and I gloriously beat Viola with a level 3 or so Bidoof that survived Infestation.

For me, the current Exp. Share is a godsend. All the time I've played X, I've caught and used anyone who caught my eye, which is a lot. Plus, for the past while I haven't made much progress (I still only have 7 badges) because I've been trading, catching, and hatching to add even more to my team. And all these Pokemon need to be trained, so the Exp. Share is great for that, considering I've currently got 33 Pokemon.

 

Also, it's an odd feeling starting up X and having it say "Ver. 1.1" down in the corner, I usually only get that for PC games.

I'm going to do that on my 4th play through, probably. Sounds fun. Really want to try and see how much I get screwed over in a Wonder Trade challenge.

And I sliiightly regret it. Now everything is too easy. I felt sorry for everyone because they are like mighty gym leaders and stuff, but so not hard XD

If they make gen 7 with this exp share, I aint usin it =P

 

Also I decided to not use scrafty for THIS team but for my possible THIRD team, since I already had a dark type, which will be Greninja

XY without Exp Share is one of the hardest pokemon game.

I dont believe so. You probably just have to grind a tiny bit. Then again I didn't experience it but I would actually hope for a hard Pokemon game, considering I liked how hard Whitney and company were

The problem is Exp share ensures that you'll get overleveled, due to higher EXP rate from trainers, and with you changing your mons around, their effective experience gain would be the same as grinding with wild mons a crazy ton. Not to mention if you're an exploration-based player.

I haven't played X without the Exp. Share, but I always found the Orre games the most difficult. I forget if I've already mentioned that or not.
