Pokemon X & Y (Post Launch)

Had a random double battle with a passerby. His team was filled with mega evolution pokemon. Witnessed his Mega Aggron die to hail damage.

Also won that battle with 23 hp left on my only remaining pokemon Chesnaught. It was super close to being a draw. I quite enjoy the ability to have spontaneous battles.

That happened to me on the way home. Only I didn't know how it worked so it ended up being my 3 vs. his 6. Including Mewtwo and Xerneas. It worked out since I don't think I would have finished in time before my stop came up, but I think I had a chance of winning had I had my whole team.

I finished doing all the Gym Leaders, if anyone has any feedback or comments feel free to add them, I'm off to work then will do the E4 when I get back. If Eury or someone could add it to the First Post that would be great.
Viola, Santalune City, Bug-type

Reward: Bug Badge, TM 83 Infestation

283.pngSurskit, Level 10.666.pngVivillon, Level 12.

Surskit is a Bug/Water-type Pokemon, so Fire-type moves will be neutral against it, Flying, Electric or Rock-type moves are advised. Vivillon is a Bug/Flying-type Pokemon, so Fire and Electric-type moves will be stronger than Flying-type moves against it, and if you have Rock-type moves they are very Super Effective. Watch out for Vivillon's Infestation move, it will make your Pokemon be unable to switch out.

Grant, Cyllage City, Rock-type

Reward: Cliff Badge, TM 39 Rock Tomb

696.png Tyrunt, Level 25.698.pngAmaura, Level 25.

Tyrunt is a Rock/Dragon-type Pokemon, so Fighting and Ground-type moves will be Super Effective. Amaura is a Rock/Ice-type Pokemon, so Fire-type moves will be strong against it, however it is very weak to Fighting and Ground-type moves so they are advised. Watch out for getting Paralyzed by Amaura, make sure you bring a Paralyze Heal or two.

Korrina, Shalour City, Fighting-type

Reward: Rumble Badge, TM 98 Power-Up Punch

619.pngMienfoo, Level 29.701.pngHawlucha, Level 32.067.pngMachoke, Level 28.

Mienfoo and Machoke are both pure Fighting-type Pokemon, both are weak to Flying, Psychic and Fairy-type Pokemon. Hawlucha however is a Fighting/Flying-type Pokemon and Electric, Ice, Psychic or Fairy-type moves are advised, however Hawlucha can easily beat an unaware team, so be careful and send out the right Pokemon to deal with it.

Ramos, Courmarine City, Grass-type

Reward: Grass Badge, TM 86 Grass Knot

189.pngJumpluff, Level 30.673.pngGogoat, Level 34.070.pngWeepinbell, Level 30.

All of Ramos' Pokemon are weak to Fire-type moves, if you are faster than all of his Pokemon, it should only take three Fire-type moves.

Clemont, Luminose City, Electric-type

Reward: Voltage Badge, TM 24 Thunderbolt

587.pngEmolga, Level 35.082.pngMagneton, Level 35.695.pngHeliolisk, Level 37.

Emolga is an Electric/Flying-type Pokemon, Ice and Rock-type moves will be Super Effective against it. Magneton is an Electric/Steel-type Pokemon, by using Fire and Fighting-type moves it should be a push over. Heliolisk is an Electric/Normal-type Pokemon, so Ground and Fighting-type moves will be Super Effective. Be careful of getting Paralyzed when using Fighting-type moves.

Valerie, Larverre City, Fairy-type

Reward: Fairy Badge, TM 99 Dazzling Gleam

303.pngMawile, Level 38.122.pngMr. Mime, Level 39.700.pngSylveon, Level 42.

Mawile is now a Steel/Fairy-type, which eliminates it's weakness of Fighting, but also of Poison and Steel, it's best to use Fire and Ground-type moves against it. Mr. Mime is a Psychic/Fairy-type, which removes it's weakness to Dark and Bug-type moves, however making it now week to Poison and Steel-type moves, on top of Ghost-type moves, using any of these three types will surely defeat Mr. Mime. Sylveon is a pure Fairy-type Pokemon, making it weak to Posion and Steel-type solely, it'd be wise to grab a Haunter before heading to this Gym.

Olympia, Anistar City, Psychic-type

Reward: Psychic Badge, TM 04 Calm Mind

561.pngSigilyph, Level 44.199.pngSlowking, Level 45.678-f.pngMeowstic, Level 48.

Sigilyph is a Psychic/Flying-type Pokemon, This Flying-type removes a weakness to Bug-type moves, however gives Sigilyph and extra three weaknesses, Dark, Ghost, Ice, Electric and Rock moves are all Super Effective. Slowking is a Water/Psychic-type Pokemon, who is in the same boat as Sigilyph, with five weaknesses: Bug, Dark, Ghost, Electric and Grass-type moves are all Super Effective against Slowking. Meowstic is a pure Psychic-type Pokemon, using Bug, Dark or Ghost-type moves will surely knock it out. Coming with two Pokemon that have a Dark typing or know Dark moves means even if one Pokemon gets confused, you can still switch to the other. Remember that Dark-type Pokemon cannot be hit by Psychic-type moves, so having one on your team isn't a bad idea.

Wulfric, Snowbelle City, Ice-type

Reward: Iceberg Badge, TM 13 Ice Beam

460.pngAbomasnow, Level 56.615.pngCryogonal, Level 55.713.pngAvalugg, Level 59.

Abomasnow which is a Grass/Ice-type Pokemon is in the most unfortunate boat which is having too many weaknesses, that being seven of them: Bug, Fire, Flying, Poison, Fighting, Rock and Steel-types, all moves of these types will surely obliterate Abomasnow. Cryogonal and Avalugg are both pure Ice types, making them weak to Fighting, Fire, Rock and Steel-type moves. Bringing a Fire-type Pokemon that isn't also a Dragon, Flying, Grass, Ground, Rock or Water-type will ensure an easy eighth badge.
That is true, then again there is a sort of balance. On one hand you have a fast muthaf***er who can hit fairly hard, and on the other, you have a wall that doesn't have much base HP.

I was picking some of the other teams last night just out of curiosity-
The Shiftry, for the mansion-Me, has Explosion. Literally it's the first move it will do.
Mansion-Hina's Glaceon has Blizzard.
etc

This is my character before taking the league. I later did an overhaul to his clothing because that one artist wanted to see someone with colorful clothes. That change will not last, I think.

Can someone capture a huge power diggersby for me in my safari? If it's adamant then better.

668.pngPyroar, Level 63.324.pngTorkoal, Level 63.609.pngChandelure, Level 63.663.pngTalonflame, Level 65.

When facing Malva, if you have a Water-type Pokemon you will be fine, however having Ground and Rock-type moves as backup are useful. Using Rock-type moves against Talonflame will ensure a OHKO if you are leveled enough.

Wilkstrom, Top-Left, Steel-type

707.pngKlefki, Level 63.476.pngProbopass, Level 63.212.pngScizor, Level 63.681.pngAegislash, Level 65.

All of Wilkstrom's Pokemon are weak to Fire-type Pokemon, however against Probopass Fighting-type moves are stronger.

Drasna, Bottom-Left, Dragon-type

691.pngDragalge, Level 63.334.pngAltaria, Level 63.621.pngDruddigon, Level 63.715.pngNoivern, Level 65.

All of Drasna's Pokemon are weak to Ice and Dragon-type Pokemon, Altaria and Noivern are even weaker to Ice-type rather than Dragon-type moves.

Siebold, Bottom-Right, Water-type

693.pngClawitzer, Level 63.121.pngStarmie, Level 63.130.pngGyarados, Level 63.689.pngBarbaracle, Level 65.

All of Siebold's Pokemon are weak to Grass-type Pokemon, Electric-type moves can be used as well, however Barbaracle is weaker to Grass-type moves.

Diantha, Champion, No Specific Type

701.pngHawlucha, Level 64.697.pngTyrantrum, Level 65.699.pngAurous, Level 65.711.pngGourgeist, Level 65.706.pngGoodra, Level 66.282-m.pngGardevoir, Level 68.

Hawlucha is a Fighting/Flying-type Pokemon and Electric, Ice, Psychic or Fairy-type moves are advised. Fighting and Ground-type moves are good against Tyrantrum and Aurous. Gourgeist is weak to Fire, Ice, Flying, Bug, Ghost and Dark-type moves. Goodra is weak to Ice, Dragon and Fairy-type moves, however has high defenses. Gardevoir is Diantha's Key Pokemon and Mega Evolves during the battle, it is weak to Steel, Ghost and Bug-type moves. After you defeat Gardevoir you are now the Champion of Kalos.
Not paid attention to types. Also Gardevoir isn't weak to Dark. Fairy resists Dark.

The type chart I was following lied to me el christo.

The type chart I was using does Not have this on that jfc.

When you said resist I thought you meant like how it resists Dragon, don't scare me like that.
