A little late but Scizor's only weakness is 4x to fire

*Curses* Forgot about Scizor ffs.

I feel so behind, only finished the 7th gym at this point -.-

Don't worry, I'm behind you. At this point, I had only finished Gym #5. Then again because of my work schedule, I haven't done much outside of weekends.

Malamar is 2x weak to Fairy, shoosh; 4x Bug weakness.

Ofc if Malamar was in Gen 5, then it would be in the same category as Scizor.

Yea, the version mascots are surprisingly easy to catch, apparently.
And that *spoiler* event totally isn't a Matrix reference.

Anyway, last night I got Mewtwo.
Thunder Wave to slow him down.
Spammed Confide to lower Mewtwo's ridiculous SP.ATK.
Got him to red HP; He kept getting stunned and couldn't Recover, thought it was amusing.
Threw like 3-5 Dusk Balls; Mewtwo get.

Mewtwo's theme is a masterpiece.

Don't have to accept me of course, but in case you didn't realize I put my FC up.

I wussed out with Mewtwo and used the Master Ball...but then again, what else is there to use it o-

>event legendaries

Hngh, really hope that Fire/Water one won't be too much trouble.

Nothing wrong with using the MAster Ball on Mewtwo.
In fact, theres nothing wrong with using the Master Ball in the first place.
I mean, it's a once-per-game(usually) item, so when to use it is all up to it's owner =D
People usually don't use it just for the thrill of catching Legendaries without it. Mostly cuz' its fun.

Oh, I added you.

Most people overreact when they hear you used it on something other than a runner.

K, so my new team:

Bulbasaur - lvl 1 - chrolophyll - calm - 252HP 4SpA 252SpD

Larvitar - lvl 1 - guts - adamant - 252HP 252Atk 4SpD

Rotom (Wash) - lvl 1 - levitate - calm - 252HP 4SpA 252SpD

Fenniken - lvl 1 - magician - timid - 252HP 4SpA 252Spe

Honedge - lvl 1 - no guard - adamant - 252HP 252Atk 4SpD

Noibat - lvl 1 - frisk - timid - 252SpA 4SpD 252Spe

Also, is it true that sound-based moves can hit through substitute? That is the current rumor/theory going around.

I have both, just I'm using the frisk to figure out opponent's mega options.

Infiltrator is still way better.

Running a Frisk Noivern for something like that seems... Gimmicky at best.

If you're concerned about their Mega, just use Imposter Choice Scarf Ditto to laugh at their Megas them up.

Besides, prediction shouldn't be that hard.

I need someone to help out a nooblet with EV training.

So I EV trained my whole team after resetting all of them. They're all maxed.

Now, I was wondering whether it made a difference whether they're leveled up through the Exp Share or through normal battling. Do they lose out despite having maxed EVs when they level up on the side, or nah?

If you do breed a batch of Marvel Scale, I'd like one (either sex).

Don't know what I could give you, I have a few good natured Pokemon, including Houndour (I have both a Modest and Timid), but not sure if you want that.

Sounds good. I'm doing the Maison at the moment (stupid faux British dialect girl I'm going to beat her accent out of her) but after that run I'll start breeding the Dragonairs. Problem is that I need to find an acceptable mate, as I actually traded away all of my Marvel Scale Males.

Also, quick question: Does the Heat Rock work with Drought?

You should be fine with Levelling them like normal. They have max EVs, so they can't get any more, and the only difference there is between normal battling and the Exp share is how much they get by virtue of the Exp Share.

EXP Share shares the EVs, but since you're fully trained, leveling method doesn't matter. Go farm the 3 Star for the fastest leveling, can have a 50 in under an hour, and roughly 400,000 more PokeDollars.

Obvious trade off is only leveling 4 pokemon at a time, assuming the 2 you use to farm are 100s.
