Blake
I thought the Torchic was set to have Adamant, I guess I'm just lucky then. Though, not as lucky as all of you with shinies... Whose Safari had the Frogadier? No one with a public Friend Code. It was another friend of mine on the site. At least, to my knowledge no one on the site has Frogadier. Toffee.
So, out of curiosity, and those of you with Pokemon Y....
Compare this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfROL2qQ2fMTo the Bio Lizard:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fPvbDyS_RUYveltal's first appearance is VERY SIMILAR to the Bio Lizard's.Mostly, because they both have an artificial aura about them-Bio Lizard's is obveious, cuz' of backstoriesYveltal is in egg form, and awakens because it was fed energy from that machine, then when it first emerges it's underside looks incomplete, almost as if its made of blood with the black details of it being veins. Although, this was probably on purpose, considering Yveltal was basically made from the dead souls(Day I say bodies?) of the Pokemon from that war. Regardless, Yveltal gave me a very Mewtwo-esque first impression. Also, not that anyone might care, but I caught him with 1 Dusk Ball. My Drifblim Thunder Waved him, and with a few hits + Aftermath-ability, got him down to red HP.Anyway, point remains that the ultimate weapon isn't the laser, but rather, Yveltal itself, considering the fact it's basically comprised of all the hatred, sorrow, etc, from that very same war, given material form from that machine.Which, at the same time, it's interesting that a giant laser gives birth to a being that was created out of pure hatred; Just like the Bio Lizard.INTERESTING COINCIDENCES, NINTEDO.....Although, I can't help but feel sorry for Yveltal now. It's not it's fault that it's a mass of evil energy. It just wanted a trainer to be it's friend; Literally it does, since LasagnaLysandre even tells you this. Then again, this is what I get for over-thinking small details... Heh....
Tentacruel
I love that they actually gave Pidgeot a boost, showing that they're open to changing base stats. I'm going to use Pidgeot in OU now and no one is going to tell me otherwise!

Eury
I'm thinking you could run Jolly and use Toxic to some effect. A Toxic/Protect set with his new Speed would be pretty cool. Not sure on an EV spread but Pidgeot @? Jolly -Brave Bird -Toxic -Protect -Roost Maybe. idunno.
Kingdom Xathers
To anyone who has me on their Friends List: What Type is my Friend Safari and what does it give out? Also, I'm breeding the Event Torchic with a Ditto, since I heard (and personally confirmed) that a Male Pokemon with its Hidden Ability can now pass it on to its offspring, but it's (supposedly) a lower chance than with a female, and it must be paired up with a Female of the same species line or Ditto. Jolly -Brave Bird -Toxic -Protect -Roost Maybe. idunno. Probably, I have him with Fly, Return, Toxic and Roost in my in-game team and it works pretty well. As for an item, I guess lefties would be the best bet, but idk. As a kid I always gave everything nothing but offensive moves. Pokemon Yellow would have been a lot easier had I known how abusable Toxic is.
Aerion Brightflame
So just a little thing that people might want to know (Assuing they care about competitive play) Defog now removes Hazards on both sides of the board. Which turns it into a harder to stop Rapid Spin: If Talnflame gets it, it can clear hazards with priority.
~British Soul~
@Tenta: I was like that as well. Giving everything all attacking moves.
TheTurtleOnceCalledGod
Btw, Defog is the new Rapid Spin. If only Talonflame could learn it -_- Wait a minute... Scyther can learn Defog...
Therrion
So why does everybody and their mother want Feebas, and I wonder why people haven't been frantically transferring it over from other games to get all the amazing things they could get. Saw a Shiny Chandelure for a Feebas earlier, think I saw a Legendary Bird at one point.

Piercer of the Heavens
Too many people want that feebas, even for a Shinx. I really want a Shinx (anything from it evo chain) but everything is either a feebas or one of the legendaries.
Kingdom Xathers
... you guys do realize that you can actually set the GTS search to exclude Legendaries and other Pokemon you haven't seen yet, right? Or are you just making observations?
~British Soul~
Just experienced a black-out in a Sky Battle. I just happened to trigger Flame Body and I just happened to get confused by Water Pulse, and I hit myself every single time. Of course, I wasn't going to take it lying down, and I trounced her in the rematch.
Piercer of the Heavens
I did not know that... but I did go through all the shinx and most was feebas or legendaries. Actaully with any pokemon I've wanted and searched over the GTS most have wanted feebas or legendaries.
~British Soul~
Just scored myself a Shiny... aww yeah. It was a Shiny Tentacool in Azure Bay. Good thing I decided not to use repels. Even better it was also holding a Poison Barb... wow.
Miror B
So I'm gonna join the FC parade: 2793-1298-0843 I already know my Safari's Water, and that I give Quagsires and Bibarels.
Piercer of the Heavens
So I put a girafarig for trade for a shinx and someone actually traded. I did not know poeple actually wanted girafarig. Theres a power outage in my street so ill add you once power comes back. Also anyone know the percentage of getting a pokemon with hidden ability in friend safari because I caught 2 girafarigs and one of them had a hidden ability. Therrion
To those who've encountered shinies: Do you often tip when presented the chance? Also, added you Talaya. EDIT: I got a Hidden Ability (Moxie) Heracross from Friend Safari. Pretty good chance I'd imagine.
~British Soul~
To those who've encountered shinies: Do you often tip when presented the chance? Why? Does that increase the chance of encountering one or something?
Therrion
It was presented as a theory somewhere online, just wanted some statistics. I don't often tip, and haven't seen a shiny, so I lend myself to the theory, though the encounter rate itself could account for it.
Eury
Why? Does that increase the chance of encountering one or something? If it does imma start tipping like a mofo. I don't tip at all.
