Not really looking for anything specific. But if you have access to Heartgold/Soulsilver, I'd like female pokemon in Sport Balls (or whatever are called those from the bug-catching contest) or apricorn-made balls. If not, then female pokemon in Safari Ball or Dream Ball.

I can get you a fair amount of stuff in Dream Ball/Safari Balls (From Pt for safari Balls; to note, I hacked My Copy of Platinum, so I can get anything normally available in that game in a safari Ball now)) Anything in particular you wanted?

Just about anything that can be legally obtained in safari balls (that would include pokemon that are in the safari zone of Kanto, Johto or Hoenn but appear outside the safari in Platinum, like Chansey or Pikachu). But females only.

I don't think I need to ask for anything in particular, considering I have a lot of what you are looking for.

Guys, I obtained another shiny Heatran. Which one should I keep? One is -atk+spdef, the other is -spd+spdef.

What is with me and my astonishingly weird luck with the number 2?

So I used the GTS to get myself a Prankster Sableye. To my delight, it was a 5 IV Spanish one, so I tossed it into the daycare with my 6IV Japanese Ditto.

Egg #2 was shiny. Sadly, it did not have Prankster. But I did have the strangest feeling beforehand I'd get a shiny Sableye. The last time I had that vibe, I got a shiny Inkay.

Went through my Pokebank to Confirm some stuff;

I also need: Nosepass, Finneon, Elgyem, Stunfisk.

Do NOT need: Lilpup, Klink.

Working on getting Safari ball Mons, might breed my Dream Ball mons as well (Just stuff from Dream Radar, if you don't want that)

Use the -atk +sp def one its better.

Nosepass and Stunkfish can provide.

I guess I have a lot of breeding and safari hunting for this weekend, then.

I guess I have a lot of breeding and safari hunting for this weekend, then.

I have to go around and catch 60+ Pokemon in Safari Balls, not including swarms and Grweat March Variable Pokemon, where a lot of them are very low percentage of Encounters.

...And I still have to make replacements for the Pokemon I'm moving to my "Hidden Ability" group in Pokebank.

...Hell, I might get every Ability on normal 'Mons just for breeding convenience.

I don't think I have one, though I can check if you want.

Also, this is a late reply but this one is for Berserker: Keep the Calm natured Heatran [it usually doesn't utilize any of its physical moves, based on whatever Smogon made an analysis on for the sets]. The Sassy one [+spdef / -spd] is nice for Trick Room usage, but that's about it.

Would anyone be able to get a female Eevee in a Fast Ball and Moon Ball? I know they can't be legally gotten in one, but I'd rather have a Jolteon and Umbreon in really fitting pokeballs than care. I can offer

@Berzerker; I've caught a number of Female Pokemon in Safari Balls equal to the number you can provide, minus two, which are in Dream Balls.

At this point, I only need to transfer them up to Gen VI, but I have all of them ready for whenever.

@Agro: Yup, the link sums up most, if not all of Smogon battles and heck, even for casual fights in some cases.

Hence why the massive breeding projects to get specific moves, perfect IVs where they are needed most and ideal nature.

TBH, I rarely do competitive battles; only things that can be considered close to it are Battle Institute/Maison. In most cases, I need my speed/power to be at maximum since the AI has a habit of trolling with their own Pokes, but presumably with perfect IVs/nature and whatever else I could've wanted.

Some of my Pokes do have 3-4 perfect IVs (such as my Magic Bounce Espeon), but for the most part, they're imperfect.

When it comes to competitive pokemon there's only a few things involved that I dislike having to deal with:
1. Move Tutor moves from past gens. This is the only gen so far that I've felt I have some sort of control over monitoring and accomplishing IV breeding and the fact that there are a lot of moves that I would LIKE to have on different mons that I can only get from past gens (stupid Knock Off) annoys me.
2. Having a mon you like but then realizing that you want to change a move to another one, but it's an Egg move. I've grown really attached to my Charizard, but it is fully made for SpATK and I have Earthquake on it for Charizard X. I decided to go with it to avoid worrying about getting Dragon Pulse on it since Earthquake also hits Heatran, but I have Focus Blast for that and Earthquake without any support does little to nothing on any of its targets, so I really want to get Dragon Pulse on my Charizard without having to breed again to get the right one.

I dunno, time has never been a problem for me, but a lot of times when I'm looking at a Pokémon and deciding if I want to use it, there'll be all these times where I'll see a list of all the available moves and end up just blocking out anything from past-gen stuff and in rare instances, egg moves.

I think this article about sums up competitive pokemon: http://www.polygon.com/2014/6/27/5846118/pokemon-training-breeding-science

Besides sex...?

I mean, I may want some pokemon.

For the perfect Ditto you don't actually need to hack the game to get one. Another level of pokemon is something called RNG abuse. When you reach this level you are able to abuse the games random number generator and have full control over the IVs of the pokemon you get.

This line killed me though

"One way I try to rationalize my decision to play this game this way is to explain that it is kind of like tending a zen garden. Except that you can take your zen garden online and use it to destroy other zen gardens that belong to children."

When it comes to competitive pokemon there's only a few things involved that I dislike having to deal with:
1. Move Tutor moves from past gens. This is the only gen so far that I've felt I have some sort of control over monitoring and accomplishing IV breeding and the fact that there are a lot of moves that I would LIKE to have on different mons that I can only get from past gens (stupid Knock Off) annoys me.

iwantallofthesethingsthatarehere

Focus Blast, Fire Blast, Roost, and Solarbeam is a very common set for Charizard Y.

For me, eggs moves really aren't an issue. I have access to TON of pokemon now so getting the right egg moves isn't a snap. As for past gen move tutors, my solution to them is to just not breed them. Takes all the worry out.
