Pokemon X & Y (Post Launch)

I think he has one, so if he does, I'll breed you one. I can breed it fairly easily, and the baby might not be really bad! ^^

Also, on a slightly different topic, does anyone know if you're supposed to encounter the Legendary Bird of your game multiple times on the same route? I've just run into Moltres twice while I'm hunting for a Smeargle and it's starting to annoy me. >>

EDIT: MAKE THAT THREE TIMES. LEAVE ME ALONE BIRD.

@evilfusion: I think I have a Magician Fennekin with a decent nature/IVs [forgot if I bred it myself or got it off of Wonder Trades]. Otherwise if I don't have one on hand [which I think I do], I can try searching one of my Friend Safaris for a Braixen.

As for encountering the legendary bird, you'll see it several times on the same route (though at different times; since it will move after you encounter it). Just find it 10x and it'll stop bothering you and be at Azure Bay.

After a long while of breeding and training, I finally put a team together.

Stealth Rock Skarmory

Protean Greninja

Substitoxic Gliscor

Mega Charizard Y

Spinning Excadrill

& Spinblocking Zombie, Trevenant

Like this team. Very defensive, which is my fav playstyle. If you like more bulky pokes Porygon 2 is too legit. I just tested him out and he is bulky on both sides, can toxic stall and has BoltBeam. Trace is interesting too.

A look at my team will tell you I don't know about teambuilding, but I would not feel comfortable with 3 pokemon weak to fire along with one that casts auto sun.

Debating playing through with just a team of Poison or Dark. Tried to do HGSS Dragons/Dragon egg group stopped when I messed up Milotic.

I'll you guys decide which of the two.

Personally I'd prefer the Dark type.

When I made a monotype team to outline my XY team, there were a lot of various Dark-types that were varied from highly defensive to very stealthy and strong. Umbreon, Sableye, Bisharp, Tyranitar, Krookodile, Mandibuzz, Weavile, and sometimes Zoroark can really be very useful in a span of many strategies. Poison types do have its share of great Pokemon, including Crobat, Venusaur, Amoonguss and Gengar, but when they are very earthquake-Susceptible and expanding possibilities around moderate speed/strength and Poisoning can be a little harder to work with IMO.

Imo, poison would be more fun, but dark would be more reliable. unless you can make something out of Gengar, Dragalgae, and Roserade (Pretty much the best poison types available on a normal playthrough.)

This is one of my current teams can somebody tell me if it needs anything?
Modest Gengar; Sludge Bomb, Shadow Ball, Thunderbolt, Icy Wind/ Dazzling Gleam; either life orb or mega stone (if not competing)

Adamant Metagross; Rock Polish, Meteor Mash, Zen Headbutt, Earthquake; leftovers

Bold/Serious Yanmega; Protect, Air slash, Bug Buzz, Psychic/ Ancient power; sharp beak or expert belt if I decide to run baton espeon.

Calm Jolteon; Shadow Ball, Charge Beam, Thunderbolt, Signal Beam; usually either balloon or the berry that resists earth

Timid Liligant; Quiver Dance, Giga Drain, Sleep Powder, Petal Dance; either life orb or a berry against a common weakness

Rash Vaporeon; Shadow Ball, Surf, Scald, Ice Beam; either leftovers or lum berry.

the variants that I sometimes swap for are

Timid Espeon; Baton Pass, Calm Mind, Reflect, Psychic

Adamant Tyranitar; Stealth Rock, Dragon Tail, Earthquake, Crunch

Careful Aegislash: Kings Shield, Swords Dance, Sacred Sword, Iron head/Shadow Sneak

Adamant, Electross: Coil, Wild Charge,  Drain punch, Dragon claw
If you could give me some assists on what combinations might be best, I'd be happy.

You forgot Roserade Raito, a very exceptional Poison type who can also cast Poison Spikes.

I never really see Roserade at all in battle; I can see its usage in being a special type of trap setter, but even with Fire and Ice moves being able to be buffered by its Sp. Def, it's definitely not OU material. But I guess it's another Grass-type Pokemon that has its usage and versatility. I gotta see it in battle myself.

If you asked me a month ago, I had a spare Manaphy that I wouldn't have minded trading/loaning.

Think I still got one from somewhere in box that I can loan you for a couple seconds.

I meant on a permanent basis

I have a spare Mew if someone wants that for their Manaphy.

Can we do it tomorrow? I need to get the mew to X and get out of Terminus Cave with Zygarde caught.

yeah, I need sleep anyways.

If anybody has HA Totodile, Cyndaquill, or Samurott, I can gladly trade HA goomy, mudkip, or grotle. (or something else if you need it)

I wanted Arbok again, I had Crunch, Rock Slide, Earthquake and Poison Fang I think on the last one I raised. I don't like to run Gengar, only because I like Haunter's design more and just ran one. Tempted to go hybrid Poison/Dark. One covers the other. Something like Arbok, Crobat, Zoroark, Houndoom, dunno.

I need to sort what I have HAs of.

UK is getting Magmar and Electabuzz events (one specific to each game), Serebii hasn't confirmed if it's multi-day or single day yet as GAME haven't confirmed anything.

Pointless if you ask me, Magmar and Electabuzz can be both found in Friend Safaris, but atleast it's something.

Greninja will be in my next team, seen a cool plush of it I want and brought a cool figure. So Dark it looks like.

Pointless? They have their evolution hold items which cost 32BP each in the Battle Maison. (Reason enough for me to pick these up, just for the items)
