AZ's Floette has been unlocked in X and Y through cheat codes. In addition to being unable to evolve (Like the Notched-Ear Pichu), its stats are higher than a normal Floette: while Florges has a base stat total of 552, AZ's Floette has a total of 551, with 74 HP / 65 Attack / 67 Defence / 125 Sp. Attack / 128 Sp. Defence / 92 Speed.

AZ's Floette's form gets added to Floette's Pokedex page once you obtain it. The form is called the "Eternal Flower" form, which is also the name of the flower that it holds.

The Pokemon's signature move is Light of Ruin, which it learns at Level 50. The attack is Fairy-type, deals 140 damage, has 90% accuracy, 5 PP, and damages Floette with recoil.

Hopefully we'll get an event for it in the near future.

So it's almost like a separate species. Will probably not work with Eviolite.

See, I hadn't heard back from you so I wasn't sure what was happening with that. Sadly I don't have those a I own Y. I'm still down for trading you the Razor Fang Gligar though.

Yeah, I'm surprised its Eternal Flower form has a BST close to its evolved form (regular Floette have 371 BST total).

Even Spiky Ear Pichu didn't have a higher stat total than a normal Pichu (with the exception of Pokeathlon stats).

Also, I need help evolving a Feebas into Milotic. Anyone online who can help?

(Finally reached max capacity in boxes, need to purchase subscription to Bank or just shove all the stuff I don't want anymore in Bank and let it expire)

It could also be entirely possible that this could be the remnants of cut content that we'll never legitimately obtain. Those stats seem to suggest it could have been part of a post-game boss battle against AZ, or even a part of our battle against AZ after obtaining the Honor of Kalos, suggesting Floette came back and then we where challenged by AZ.

If we're not able to legitimately obtain AZ's Floette, I wouldn't be at all surprised. Although it is possible that they considered Floette coming back before the battle, but they felt it'd make more sense for it to return after the battle.

No. The Spiky-eared Pichu had a shiny form and Pokemon that cannot be legitimately obtained shiny, such as Reshiram and Zekrom, still have shiny forms programed into the game to prevent crashes. If no-one discovers a shiny form it supports my theory that it will remain unobtainable.

I agree.

If it isn't found in game (or not given out at an event), then probably is just there for coding reasons and will never be usable by us. Same goes for Volcanion/Hoopa (since we know Diancie is real) and both of the Mega Evolutions for Latias/Latios (hopefully there is some difference between the two if this is true)

In other stuff, I've been building a collection of shinies. Here is the list so far:

  • Chandelure
  • Ninetales
  • Gyarados
  • Charizard
  • Umbreon
  • Spiritomb
  • Vanillite
  • Sylveon
  • Zoroark

Anyone else got shinies they wish to trade? I have the following shiny event pokemon up for trade: Eneti, Giratina, Golurk and Raikou. In particular, I'm after shiny Heatmor, Vespiquen, Gardevoir and Aegislash.

I've been busy with work, but I'll be online later today for a while once I get home.

It's not as if they haven't already found Non-Obtainable content already with the Shiny Forms of Zygarde, Yveltal and Xerneas.

The extra shinies are just to make sure the game doesn't fuck up if the data for them is, you know, hacked into the game

Kinda like ??? Arceus.

He hasn't been on for about a week though.

I need to add some of the guys on the first page that have safaris with Pokes that aren't found in Kalos originally (though some of them are probably not around). Otherwise, should check GTS again (and hopefully there aren't any idiots on there wanting legends/event Poke for them; probably will have some)

So like Missingno I suppose, filling a gap incase someone tries to exploit it.

No no. Missingno happened because the game saved the trainer's data into a empty hexadecimal slot (which happened to be a spare pokemon slot) while you did the Pokemon capture tutorial, and then read like it was a Pokemon entry when you cause the glitched battle to happen in a area where no wild Pokemon where assigned to appear, defaulting to that hexadecimal. Ta-da, you have Missingno.

Interestingly, many people believe there is a Missingno Easter egg in Lumiose City, where people claim to see a familiar grey shape in some doorways.

I haven't seen it yet throughout cycling around Lumiose (though given I've not played the first two generations of Pokemon, I probably don't know what I'm supposed to see)

Any of you gotten the Strange Souvenir in-game yet? Here's a pic of what I'm talking about: http://cdn.medialib.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/screens/screenshot_62523_thumb_wide610.jpg (from Nintendo magazine)

I've heard this as well. People seem to randomly obtain them from backpackers in the hotels. It could be a sly reference that we could be getting two regions in one generation. Rumors of a gen 3 remake are high, along with rumors that Game Freak will make a new region for the V2 version of gen 6.

I believe you had to talk to him several times, he would travel round the various hotels. (Bar Lumiose's)

You did remind me X needs to get the DNA Splicers, and get access to other 'special things' (Moves etc) for importing Pokemon such as Keldeo.

Uh, you do. Just show Kyurem to someone in Killoude City and she'll give the item. Genesect's drives can be acquired by a hiker in the fossil lab, the Gracidia flower from Snowbelle city and the creation trio's orbs from Zygarde's chamber in Terminus Cave.
