Nintendo are quite clever with there naming filters. They filter out names that could refer to offensive controversies and terms, along with swearing. I think Death should be fine however. It's not a bad word at all.

 

And yes, I'll take a Pawniard. I would enjoy having a Bisharp on my roster in the future. And if you want blue awesomeness, get a shiny Umbreon.

 

Also, if you do catch a shiny Pawniard, name it Checkmate.

 

I've already gotten a fully trained Umbreon, but I do have potential to make a Shiny Vaporeon. And I'll add your FC so if we ever meet I'll give you one.

I'm starting my first Masuda Method of Pawniards all with Adamant Nature and Defiant. Already 1 box filled so far. I'm not sure if this is goign to work even if I have I am using a Japanese Ditto and Shiny Charm, but I think it's worth the patience to have a functional anti-Aegislash with dat blue colored awesomeness. Anyone want any rejects adoptees?


Serebii tells me the max odds for a shiny (with Masuda and Charm) is 1/1024. Your going to be at that for a LONG time. Also, all the correct nature does is give you high odds of it passing down, you can still get the other one. We do have the item to switch abilities though, so that can be used if worse comes to worse. 

 

Also, best name for Bisharp is Kamen Rider. Cause thats what he is.

I'm not going to spend time grinding at the Maison for an ability capsule; I pretty much have everything setup in my favor. But if at least the charm increases the chances x8, I'm still going to go for it. I already have tons of empty boxes reserved for this purpose.

 

It would be nice to name him Kamen Rider...I got some other ideas for cool names but I haven't watched the show too much to embrace it.

Following some feedback from Vla1ne, my friend Fraxtion and some random battles, this is my early plans for my new team:

 

  • My team is vulnerable to statuses, so I'm probably going to replace Onyx's Protect with Heal Bell. He can withstand enough to sustain me for most of a battle. Also, any alternatives for Foul Play?
  • Ruby is simply not for my play-style. Too slow and too specialized. Going to continue breeding his siblings on White and create his successor, Garnet, built to be fast and furious.
  • Mismagius again is still too specialized. I'm not sure if a re-spec, re-breed or a complete substitution is in order here. Any ideas for a ghost type that packs a punch and sonic shoes?
  • While this may be considered unsporting, I'm going to download something to my phone so I can find out the weaknesses and strengths of my opponents Pokemon. I simply can't remember them off heart, so I'm making stupid moves that's costing me multiple kills.

Your only bad moves against me were trying to set up your Mismagius while you had a Tyranitar in front of you, and sending Volcarona against Crobat, that, as you saw the previous turn, had a very strong STAB, super-effective attack in her movepool. Other than that, I only had the proper pokemon to beat yours.

It's perfectly normal to look up your opponents type, that's how I play when I see a pokemon and can't remember its typing.

Also, for Onyx, go with toxic instead of yawn, your opponent can switch out of yawn, but toxic keeps hitting them later on, which will come in handy for long drag-out battles.

Ruby is actually very good, you just need to change up his Movepool and probably refrain from trying to mega with him scratch that, just work on a few new methods of using him.

I don't know much about mismagius since I didn't get to see her well, but from what I saw, nasty plot isn't meant for her. her HP and defense are terrible, but her Speed, SPATK, and SPDEF already make her a formidable opponent, go for speedy hits instead of setup with her. if I had to advise any moves, breed one with ominous wind, for the chance of a boost.

Alright guys, I need some help with something.

 

My friend's birthday is coming up soon, and I kind of (Really) want to get them a shiny Espurr with as-perfect IVs as I can.

 

I would like a Shiny Charm, as it would make me able to do it as fast as I can, so I need somebody who can touch-trade me all the legendaries and Unown for that (I have all Normal Pokemon, save for a couple I need to breed), I would really like that.

 

Additionally, if anybody has a Non-English Game, I have an egg of an Espurr of the qualities I need to match the perfect One I have now (Male, Perfect IVs save for ATK), so if anybody can hatch that for me and make it count at a foreign Pokemon (Or if that doesn't work, breed one for me, since I also have some leftover prefect Females I can trade) I would really, REALLY appreciate it.

...Or if you already have a Non-English male perfect Espurr, that works too.

 

It's best to PM me if you can help with these; I'll be on all day today, but I can't do anything tomorrow due to an Art Competition, so I REALLY want to have this all sorted out by tonight, so I can work on it while that's going on.

I can make/have access to 5 IVs, so I need foreign ones for Masuda Methoding.

EDIT: Seems being hatched in a foreign game doesn't seem to make it originate from the foreign game. I don't mean to trouble anybody, but masuda method is really important in this instance (x5 shiny chance), so if anybody cares to waste their time with it, I'd be really grateful.

 

EDIT2: Oh yeah, and I still need Unown.

I have the regis if you need them, and I need to up my pokédex numbers as well (also aiming for shiny charm)so if you need them I can either touch trade them, or just give you them off the bat for the basic forms of anything I don't already have (I'll list some of them if you want) also, I have a Japanese meowstic if you want it.

I don't need anything *Permanently* as the only problem is that I can't transfer from Gen IV to V.

And, what are the IVs of the Meowstic, and gender? Those are the main things I'm concerned about.
