Like how I get told I have Pokerus. 2/6 team are immune and the others don't even display they have or had. I know now it shows on their Data when you look at a Pokemon as I've seen with a Camerupt and Gardevoir.

Just have Ambipom, Unfezant (I noticed Serebii have only posted the male form) , Seismitoad, Archeops, Sliggoo, Lickilicky, Sealeo and Galvantula to go.

Easy? It took me two weeks of constant trading. However, I can offer a few pointers:

  • Don't be afraid to trade with Japanese or Korean players. They often make great trades, offering nice persudo-legendary shinies or event Pokemon for bred shinies and low tier legends.
  • The GTN is mostly useless. If your after rare legendaries such as Arceus, Mew, Darkrai and Genesect, trading with passerby is your only option. The only time you may use the GTN is when you have a spare Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Zekrom, Reshiram, Yvetal or Xernas.
  • Moltres, Arctuno and Zapdos are useless for trading for legends, since there common post-game legends.
  • Persudo-Legend shinies are gold when trading for legends. Metagross, Hygrerion and Gallade are good examples on where to start.
  • If you don't need some mega stones, some players will ask for them in return for legends. For example, my rare shiny Genesect was for a Pinsirite.
  • Stock of on chat  Pokemon. These are pokemon who's names are changed for phases you show while trading. I often quick ball Pokemon in the friend safari to do this. Phrases you should have include Yes please, No Thanks, I have one, Do you have?, What For, Shinies? and the names of Pokemon your after.
  • Use your shout outs to say what your after, and if you can, what you can offer.
  • Use the player icons to work out how far someone has played. If they still have the default look, avoid them. They will likely only have legends from their own game and no shinies.

Well, I do have a HA Dialga and a HA Lugia that might be worth something. Lugia's HA is Multiscale, which I've heard is very nice.

And I can rename my Vivillon collection for chats. Hmm, I should probably go grab the Musketeers from my W2, they would have some trade value I should think.

The problem is that to traders, HA is just a bonus because they can't see it on the trade screen. All they care about is the Pokemon, is it shiny, what does it carry, what pokeball its in and it's level. If your trading on fourms or websites however, that could help.

Also, with my legends done, I want to assemble my dream team for online battles. I'm not a uber orthadox, IV-EV obsessed competitive player, so I'm after a team of Pokemon I just like and then train them in moveset builds from Smogon. So far, I'm thinking of the following:

  • Gallade
  • Volcorona (Obtained and trained)
  • Shiny Hydreigon (I know someone who's offering one)
  • Shiny Unbreon (Obtained)
  • Scizor
  • Torn between Shiny Golurk or Mismagius.

Go with Golurk =D

I've decided. I'm going with Mismagius, since 3 shinies are a bit much, but I'll likely find one as a substitute. I've caught the Male Ralts I'll need for Gallade. Need someone to trade me a Misdreavus or Mismagius, with Timid nature. I've also acquired a female Combee during the hunt if anyone needs one.

Whee, I got a 6 IV perfect Zubat with Infiltrator. Didn't even take me that long to breed, surprisingly. Granted, I had to switch out the female like 4 times because I started with a regular, 0 perfect female with Infiltrator, then bred it with a Jolly Togetic for Jolly Zubats, and swapped out the first female Jolly Infiltrator Zubat (0 perfects, despite Togetic having 4) I got from those eggs, then swapped who was holding the Everstone. Repeated the breeding because I needed Togetic's ATK IV passed down to the female, then switched the females. Then swapped Togetic for my 5 perfect Noivern. Got the 6 perfect soon afterwards.

Uh.. *brain implodes*

This is a example while I don't get IVs, EV and select breeding.

Anyways, spend a good 2 hours getting Misdreavus from White, since it only has a 5% chance of spawning at the Abundant Shrine. Evolved him with a dusk stone into Mismagius. Also traded for that shiny Hydrerion for a shiny Magikarp. Now I need to evolve Raltz into Kirila and then into Gallade.

IV/EVs determine the stats your Pokemon ends up with, on top of Nature, etc.

People aim for the the highest IV of 31 in Stats a Pokemon requires based on what it's role is in a team. (Usually determined by move pool, highest stat, etc).

EVs are the stats boost defeating a Pokemon will give you, so defeating a Lairon will give you +2 in Defense upon leveling for example.

Hope I have that alright.

Or here's Serebii

Not exactly. The way EVs works is as follows:

Pokemon give a number, 1, 2, or 3, based on what ever there highest stat is. Magikarp gives 1 point in SPE while Gyarados gives 2 in ATK. A pokemon can have a maximum of 510 EV points spread out over its 6 stats. Once a stat reaches 252 it can no longer gain any more. For each 4 points the final stat (level 100) will see an increase of 1 compaired to what it would have had otherwise. This means that fully EV training a stat will result in it being 63 points higher.

Anyway, in my quest to breed a 5IV female Eevee with the missing stat being ATK I have breed 2 6IV. Lucky for me the second one was female.
