The Warden
Yes, they do; but only when you've been online at the same time once, which is also needed to umlock the third mon anyways.
Agro
Yo, so if no one I just added is showing up in my PSS, uh... do I need to do something still? I added them mid-game, do I need to turn it off or something? Also, as far as people I'd like to add for their safari specifically: Taiga, Zextra/BoC, Eury, JZ, Kingdom, Fionn, Turtle, Therrion, Airride, Meta/Fusion EDIT: would anyone I've got friended mind going online about now? Would help with friend safari and stuff.
Jake the Sage
Well I got a Mew and a Manaphy from vla1ne so . . . anyone else got any useless Legendary Pokemon they'd be willing to part ways with? Or temp trade so I can at least get the Pokedex Data for them?

I just went online with you added now, so you should now have access to my stuff.
vla1ne
The ditto's not ev trained, but it can be in about 30 min.also, if yin or broke. N are still on, I can give yin that mew and I would love that deoxys like a long lost brother.
Flame Dragon
Why is half of the Kalos Pokedex full of terrible mons? Seriously there are very few actual good ones. This gen introducted 32 fully evolved pokemon (not counting legendary pokemon). Of those four are VERY good. After that another dozen or so are solid. About half of them being good is really impressive.

vla1ne
If we are, I'm still in for it. also, I found an interesting website for ev training your pokemon. Βyakuya
Wait, I thought EV training stopped being a thing because of Super Training... uh... someone want to fill me in on what I'm missing? Super Training is EV training. But some people think it's tedious so another method is that people fight horde battles. It's still going.
Flame Dragon
If we are, I'm still in for it. also, I found an interesting website for ev training your pokemon. [spoiler/]http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?p=8050492 [/spoiler] the guy made a pretty good guide as far as training goes. I've been doing this for actual months. Only differ on half the locations. I use HP: Gulpin Hordes ATK: Bellsprout and Ekins Hordes DEF: Geodude Hordes SPA: Vanillish and Smoochum Hordes SPD: Mime Jr. Hordes SPE: Taillow and Wingull Hordes Wait, I thought EV training stopped being a thing because of Super Training... uh... someone want to fill me in on what I'm missing? No, pokemon still give EVs when you battle them. Its just Super Training gives a second way to to do as well as introducing it to the general player. The reason Super Training is just worse than normal EV training is because of the power items and hordes. When you battle one of the hordes I listed above and use the correct power item you get 25 EVs in a single battle, or 50 with Pokerus. So when your doing to max out a stat just battle the same horde 10 times then do a super training round. Since the cap is now 252 the round will result in a +2. If your lucky you can EV train a pokemon in about 30-40 min. Super Training is EV training. But some people think it's tedious so another method is that people fight horde battles. It's still going. IMO Horde battles are strictly better. You do have a random factor but all the ones I listed above are common hordes. If your doing a more custom EV spread super training is helpful (I used it just recently when I had to give my Heracross 92 SPE EVs, but even then the hordes helped it get to 75 much fast then super training. vla1ne
^what he said. Now that horde battles are a thing, and the exp share gives exp to all your pokemon, you can properly EV train up to 6 (realistically 4-5) pokemon in FAR less time than it takes to do super training so long as you have pokemon with sweet scent and pokerus/multiple macho braces
evilfusion
I use Horde Battles if I have to train ATK and DEF. I use Weepinbell/Arbok for ATK, and Gligar for DEF. That's on the same route. I also use Durant for DEF, but Geodude hordes are obnoxious.

My normal team is Pokemon I'm training Sweet Scent Phanpy Fly Random Pokemon I want to level up Random Pokemon I want to level up I honestly never thought to EV train two pokemon at once since waiting around for a 2nd pokemon that wants the same EVs is annoying, as is getting more power items (as a btw, Power Items are TONS better since its 25 points vs. Macho Brace's 10), but it is a good use of time if you just want to mass breed a bunch of physical sweepers or something. I use Horde Battles if I have to train ATK and DEF. I use Weepinbell/Arbok for ATK, and Gligar for DEF. That's on the same route. I also use Durant for DEF, but Geodude hordes are obnoxious. Durant is also one of the best pokemon to level grind against since a horde + lucky egg is an easy 4K EXP. And yea, Geodude hordes are obnoxious. Love Mold Breaker against them though. evilfusion
I never thought of Mold Breaker. I should give that a shot. My Haxorus does have Mold Breaker...but I already finished EV training most of the Pokemon that need DEF for the time being.
vla1ne
I mostly muti-Ev train when I'm working on defensive pokemon, but yeah, even going one pokemon at a time, it's often far faster than super training.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
I still use Super Training for most EV things (even though it's slower), but I do challenge wild Pokes if I need to level up as well. Can't really be bothered to keep Combee or another Bug-type in team, but method does work (I keep Macho on whatever Poke I need to train; haven't gotten the stat specific ones). It's also helpful when I can't do Super Training properly for several reasons. I have a Japanese Vivillion from Wonder Trade that has Pokerus, but never used it. For training, I generally train an attacking stat + spd (since a good amount of team functions like that), plus some HP as leftovers. For Pokes with under 80-90 base speed (i.e. Metagross, Tyranitar), their defensive stats and full ATK. I generally only train one at a time, so don't mind too much if it goes slower than horde battles. (I'll admit I use vitamins to train if I'm lazy or have to put a rush on it b/c of time, but that's rarely)
◇ Void ◇
Status update: Transferred my Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Heatran and Darkrai over from Platinum to X. Arceus made it to White, but failed the hack check in Poke Transfer and so is stranded. I also seem to still catch the lake trio in my Platinum. However, as consolation, I rediscovered that the Darkrai I had locked away was shiny. Update: Lake trio captured and transferred. Arceus will remain in Gen 5 to help capture legends. Flash Flyer - Sakura
I got all of my legendaries from 2nd run of White 2 over w/out problems. (I have room for one more batch, assuming I don't go wild with breeding Eevees and other stuff) Some are better than the first batch, others are meh. (I know Latias/Reshiram #2 are good b/c I soft-reset about 20-40x to get good natures/IVs for them [+spd and 26/31 IVs in there]) Forgot to name Uxie this time around (wanted to give it a name like I did for the others, but that's not really important). Just have to check dex for stuff I haven't caught yet and see if White 2 has them; not counting legendaries before restarting that for 3rd time (if I'm not busy). Now I got a lot more Pokes to train up...
◇ Void ◇
Turns out the Arceus I received in Platinum had been from the Hall of Origin, which was never officially given access. That is why it failed the check and now lives in Unova. A shame, since I got that on a school trip to the Somme from a schoolmate. So, anyone got a spare Arceus? Update: Just traded my Attack Forme Deoxys for a Shiny Rayquaza.
vla1ne
You had a deoxys?! awww. well anyways, if you have a pokemon you plan on releasing, and feel like testing a theory of mine I might have a spare arceus.

I have two Deoxys. The one I traded was a event one, trained to 100. The one I still have is from Hohen and still level 50, but he is not for trade. As for your proposal, I have a ton of junk Pokemon from Unova. Any particular type of Pokemon you need for this experiment?
vla1ne
3 conditions actually1)for the first try (at least) neither of us has to want our pokemon2)you have to initiate the trade.3)it may take multiple tries, so be patient.the short version is, I want to try the effectiveness of cloning over the internet long range instead of just close range wifi. and since this forum is easier to speak on than just using the pokemon game, I need a volunteer. I can't promise it won't harm your game, but from the methods I've tested so far, neither game I've used has suffered any damage in any way shape or form.now that you know the details, You sure you want to try it? ◇ Void ◇
Sorry Vla1ne, but I don't want to risk my game or my system via Wi-Fi cloning. I hope you understand. Is there anything other then a Deoxys that you will trade for a Arceus?
