Pokemon X & Y (Post Launch)

The names are good and there are a lot of going ons about megas. I'm hoping MegaDarkrai will come out and break the game of Pokemon as we know it. I honestly don't know if is better for him to have Psychic or Dream Eater. Especially with all this "I won't go to sleep" madness and Yveltal being the world's best doubles Tag Partner with him. I may have to remove hurricane from him though which is upsetting.

And this is more of a personal qualm,
Why can't more pokemon learn Flash Cannon?  & Aura Sphere. Aside from a few pokemon that learn both, these moves are great but never come into the game as often as I beleieve they should and seem light generic moves.

I also hate-love sucker punch &if you could use fake-Out every turn it'd be TOO broken & Megakangaskahn would be Ubers easy. Not enough pokemon know Extremespeed.

I'm pretty sure they plan to do a remake, just hadn't fully settled on all the details/expansion. Then again, they revealed Generation VI, so we can now assume we know some of what was eating up their focus.

Dusk and Dawn? Hilariously cliche, but not bad by any means.

That seems correct. I'd imagine when they saw they had a market for the remakes they started planin

If a name works it often ends up being cliche. Naming Aegislash Excalibur is likely SUPER over done, but I still like the name on him.

I too have heard the talk of Megakrai. It will be a scary day if he ever did come into being. His secondary attack type is often fighting in the form of Focus Blast.

A good number of pokemon can learn Flash Cannon already. Those that want it to hit fairies likely already have access to a poison move so it isn't that big a lose either. Aura Sphere is a special move and is more or less Lucario's signature move. I'm fine with it being limited. Though I do agree that having some kind of generic good special fighting move would be nice.

I haven't fought a Megaskan but it does seem to be a scary pokemon.

Oh, that's right. Last set I saw didn't run SP at all, that's why I forgot.

Still, I never have problems with it, since I run Mienshao with Fake Out.

Rotom-W can easily tank a bunch of hits.

Noivern's a lot faster and can switch into EQ.

Mega Mawile resisits everything except EQ.

Talonflame gets to smack it around with priority Brave Bird and Roost.

et cetera, et cetera.

All I'm saying is that MK isn't that much of a threat.

Not being able to take a EQ REALLY hurts. Those that can will likely take tons from Return. Also, Megaskan REALLY likes Power-Up Punch since its like using a Sword Dance that also does damage.

Well, a base 102 STAB is always going to do tons of damage. I'm just saying that I've never had problems with it. Mienshao's great for it. Fake Out > HJK.

Power Up punch is great on MK, but the first hits are still weak, and won't kill Pokemon that have even moderately decent HP/Def, even with SE. For example:

252+ Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Exploud: 255-300 (73 - 85.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

PuP is not a major threat, if you have any Pokèmon that can take it. Which will be most Pokèmon that aren't hit for 2x SE. Blissey will still get slaughtered, however.

MK is only a major threat if you don't know how to take care of it.

Serebii's announced more Japanese Events: Scizor and Gengar (Scyther/Haunter they will evolve when you get them). With presenting BW/BW2 getting you a Luck Egg serial number. Although for some reason they aren't on their event page. They run 21st-26th Dec.

Not beat the E4, just cannot be bothered at the moment.

Serebii btw have covered the Starters (1st form), Sylveon (with the other Eevee evols) , Xerneas, Yveltal in their Advent Calender in case you want Avatars/Wallpapers. Mega Charizard X is in there Pokemon Origins special for today if you wanted an anime pic for an avatar.

If anyone doesn't know yet they've also announced the release date for the Pokemon Bank in America. It is going to be December 27th, too late for Christmas, but it will still be coming soon. Hopefully everyone will have their White/Black and Black/White IIs ready so they can transfer over all of their other Pokemon. I know I am going too and once I do . . . well, Global Trade is going to have EVERY Pokemon you want so completing the Pokedex will be easy.

I also just learned, the Pokemon Bank will let you transfer Pokemon to any new Pokemon game that comes out. So, y'know, get on a Massive Cross-Regional Pokemon game NINTENDO/GAME FREAK (>_>)

I can't be bothered with the long process of transferring everything from Diamond...I might just grab teams from the past at the moment.

The part of bank. About time. Although I suppose Pokemon Box Ruby and Sapphire did similar over Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Leaf Green and Fire Red.

After a session of Battle Maison, I got me a Gliscor, and now I have seen all the local pokemon. Now I don't know if I work into getting those I have seen but don't have,(that would involve mastering super training to get more stones) or getting all the outside pokemon species I can (I have at least one evolutionary stage of any pokemon that can be obtained without pokebank).

I am going around trying to catch every Pokemon, even though I could rather easily monotonously wonder trade for them. Halfway through everything, just need to get through a few in costal, then I'll crack open mountain and do it.

Also; Which berry should I grow infinite of? I'm thinking just Lum and Sitrus, but Kee and Maranga are very useful for...things.

For Costal you need Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres and you only get one per game so have fun on the GTS ;)

You can obtain them in: Fire Red, Leaf Green, and XD. (Saddly all 3 are so far into the games there not easy to get, although I reckon if I wanted to I could get a few sets since I'm not too far of the final boss in XD). Wish I'd saved all thoses sets from XD now.

If anyone wants and doesn't have one already I can do several run throughs of Channel to get some Jirachis. I can confuse the GC to hell.

Where were you months ago when all I needed to complete my White Pokedex was Jirachi?

I have one now, but months ago!
