Secret Super Training can get you free stone depending on the completed regimen you do and well you do in it. Aegislash, Gallade, Roserade Balloons can give Dusk, Dawn, and Shiny Stones respectively. Sun and Moon ones I forgot.
Well that's good to know if your trying to complete the Pokedex.

When can you begin looking for the other Mega Stones? I've already beaten the game so is there a special condition that I have to meet in order to begin finding them?

You have to meet Sycamore at the sundial where the eighth gym is located and he upgrades your Mega Ring

Then between 8pm-9pm you can find all the Mega Stones

You have to face your rival in Kilbourne City (or whatever it's called), which you can only reach by meeting Sycamore at Luminose Station. You also have to attempt the Battle Maison once to face your rival. He/She will tell you to meet Sycamore at Anistar City's sundial.

One thing I really like with X/Y is Wonder Trade. Due to breeding Eevee, I ended up with like 2 boxes of them, but they're not good enough, IV wise, to replace my breeding Eevee. With Wonder Trade, I can get rid of them, and get potentially cool stuff in return, which is probably as useless to the original owners as those Eevee are to me, but they're cool stuff to me due to Nature, species, gender, whatever.

Like I traded off almost a dozen Eevee or so and got things like a Jolly female Sneasel, Adamant female Scyther, a Chespin, an Alakazam, a Graveler, 2 Ralts, etc. Half of them are probably breeder rejects like my Eevee were, but they're still cool to me. Especially if they are from a foreign game, if I was inclined to try and Masuda method with them, and I like to think my Eevee are similarly valued to foreign games.

I think it's just a really cool feature that is only as good as people are willing to put into it. Sure, you could end up just getting tons of common Pokemon, but breeders are a thing and they're probably just as willing to drop their undesirable results as I am, and those results are still better than wilds.

I got an Adamant Huge Power Marill from Wonder Trade. That really is a cool feature.

The only problem is I'm never going to use it, so I Wonder Traded it away (jk no I didn't, that's too good to pass up).

I feel bad because the only desirable stuff I Wonder Traded were 3 Graveler (2 Sturdy, 1 the other Ability) and 2 Vivillon.

As most people, I'm not much of a fan when people send in common early route crap, but it annoys me even more if I get a bad Pokemon that's nicknamed "Sorry" or something along those lines, or if I see one of those Pokemon in Quick Balls or the like. In the former case, the people trading them out are aware that they're being cheap but just flat-out don't care; in the latter case, the player sending them out has obviously gotten a decent amount into the game already. If they have the Quick Balls to waste on sh*t Pokemon, why not have the decency to at least use them on a bunch of version exclusives or decent later-game Pokemon...

I've sent out many of my breeding reject Eevees (with 3 perfect IVs), boxes of starters, Noibats, Absols, and a bunch of Haunters and Gurdurrs. I've gotten some pretty nice stuff in return, but I'd say one out of every 3 trades or so, I still end up with Bunnelbys, Weedles, Magikarps, and Fletchlings (which I immediately release).

I always nickname my Pokemon pretty average names like Clara or Ted or something, so each one I sent out on Wonder Trade is unique in a special little way, even if they don't have good stats or nature :>

Besides that, I'm not much into IV breeding or anything, I just like to have natures that are good, then play around with stuff from there. I may not have an advantage, but I still want to enjoy it, and not spend hours getting the right stats or whatever.

I only release my breeding rejects if it has no perfect IVs and the nature isn't useful. As for trade stuff...I only Wonder Trade occasionally, and usually in bursts of like a dozen at a time. The only time I received a Magikarp, I didn't have one yet.

I honestly release most of my breeding rejects. My rule is to not go over 1 box so I end up releasing tons, often many with 3 or I think sometimes 4 perfect IVs. I don't wonder trade that often but when I do I use those rejects since it can go to someone who will make good use of it.

Also, I'm still missing a few Mega Stone and every time I think to go hunting its either too early or too late. Honestly, I'm just happy I got the bulk of them when I first did the event.

I actually ended up getting all the post-game Mega Stones that you have to get during that time of the day all in one run. My 3DS clock was off since I had changed time zones coming to college and never fixed it, but during the scene where Sycamore is explaining the whole bit to you, I noticed you could see the sun perfectly through the sundial, so I realized it was that time of the day. I only had about half an hour so I just bought 99 Max Repels (partially for when I go Radar Chaining) and made a mad dash for every Mega Stone around Kalos, and I got them all with about 6 minutes to go.

I realize I could just change my 3DS's clock, but that's not as fun.

Speaking of Mega Stones, is there anyone who happens to not want their Y-exclusive ones? I figured I might as well ask.
