Sixth Sense

I have heard some talk amongst players about how, in some very rare occasions, it could be, statistically, better to call other numbers. One example I was given was that (and this is not my argument, this is someone else's), let's say you have a little over half your remaining deck (20 cards or so) being monsters, and drawing any one of those monsters will win you the game. If you fail to draw a monster, you lose. Alternatively, you could have some sort of revival card in your hand and need to mill something like, say, a specific monster(s) that you only have, in total, 5 or so of in your deck. If you mill that monster, you also win, but if you get neither, you lose.

So in this case, it could be said that calling 1 and 2 would be wiser, since you'll mill a greater number of cards, which increases your chances of milling the monster you need, and even though it may slightly decrease your chances of drawing a monster for the win, you still have a chance of drawing a couple of cards to help you win the game.

It's very situational, yes, but it's applicable to a number of decks and is something to keep in mind, at least.

Makes some good points, the arguer does.

So, I guess a Lightsworn deck would benefit from it the most. Still, as Squidward taught me, there is no reason to declare one with Sixth Sense. Even 2 is logical. Get a 2? Draw 2. Not many cards do that. Get a 1? Waste of a card. So many easy +1s out there.

If it was at 3, I'd quit until next format.

You're willing to go to Card Game Hell until the next format if that happens? Wow...

Okay for serious... I know how to combat it... APPROPRIATE!!!!! That and Droll & Lock... Who wants to bet this will be banned by next format? If not... I WANT MY POT OF GREED AND MONSTER REBORN BACK!!!

This card has no reason to get banned, nor do many cards in the game. It will probably happen though. I'm just happy for a TCG release.
