Dementuo
So I've been messing around with a deck revolving around this guy lately. Since Plasma is everywhere with stuff like Klinklang, Virizion/Genesect, and other things, this guy has been looking better and better. Dragonaxe, being only 1 Energy, is fantastic since I can just pile on energies each turn, and Strike of the Champion is just amazing, both in usage and in flavor. I may build this IRL since it's incredibly cheap and it doesn't immediately die to Genesect the way Keldeo/Blastoise does.
Airride
It's not bad perse, when 1/2 the decks that are good are Plasma-centric, but you're left with a crippling weakness to Keldeostoise and Darkrai, and unless you can find a GOOD secondary attacker to go with this... Actually, this shouldn't be your main attacker. This should be your secondary attacker unless you're up against a Plasma deck. Garchomp does the job 10x better in all other cases. Plus, if you're running a stage 2 for the attacks, it NEEDS to be your primary attacker most of the time. And, using garchomp with this is a bad idea, since juggling 2 stage 2 lines is nigh impossible, ESPECIALLY with 2 DIFFERENT lines.

You do know that Garchomp's line searches for them both, making it just about as easy to go for Garchomps as it is to go for this? I saw someone using a Garchomp/Haxorus deck. and it wasn't so bad. DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH FUCKIN SPACE THAT TAKES UP SERIOUSLY And if you're running Garchomp, you might as well run Altaria instead just to 2 hit everything anyway. Dementuo
I've gone undefeated with this in testing for twenty straight games without so much as knowing what Garchomp you're talking about. I don't even know what any of them do. Haxorus has been just fine as my main attacker, since I'm usually piling on Steels every turn, only dropping on the Fighting Energy when I need to Strike something. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Garchomp might not be the best suggestion, more useful for searching out Haxorus and being a quick attacker if needed, but the point remains that Haxorus is very underwhelming against anything but Plasma. Dementuo
It hasn't been that way for me. But I'll look into Garchomp. I mean, I've just been playing this close to the way I'd play Keldeostoise, since they have similar builds.

Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Keep in mind by the way that I don't play the Pokemon card game, I've only watched games online, so I have never tested any cards out, I'm just speaking from what I've seen and heard happen before. It just doesn't seem like a good idea to need to take so much time to attach to build up on a 3-card line so you can have enough damage to trade blows decently with EX. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Well, the topic isn't about Garchomp, but I will say that Garchomp does more damage for its 1-energy attack, isn't an EX, and it has Gabite in its line, who can search your deck each turn for any Dragon, including Pokemon in its line and in Haxorus'. Rare Candy... And also, I still say Garchomp is a bad idea, with what experience I've tried with it. It's generally too slow, constrains space even more than normal, and Haxorus DOES generally deal with things well enough on its own.
