Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Basically my take on the deck from before that topped a local tourney in Japan, but of course altered for TCG, losing some good cards in the process. I am probably going to take out a Kid for another Warrior. Safe Zone has been amaaaaaazing for me. It helped me stop my opponent from stealing my Gol'Gar with Big Eye, and also stopped an opponent from suiciding their monster into it for their "destroyed by battle effect", then the next turn I just used its effect and returned Safe Zone to destroy their monster. Thrasher is actually really good I've noticed, and I understand now as well why they didn't choose Kagetokage to start with, but it's still useful for making a crappy hand into setup for next turn. Bringerofcake
Heck, with Ancient Ruins it's fine to even safe zone your own Gol'Gar and then return Safe Zone to destroy itself, since you can put the counters onto Ruins and re-summon it. Thrasher is actually really good I've noticed, and I understand now as well why they didn't choose Kagetokage to start with, but it's still useful for making a crappy hand into setup. Gol'gar isn't an Alien (sadly) and thus isn't a valid target for Ruins. I'd say 1) switch kid for Warrior if you haven't been getting Counters on stuff with Kid, 2) switch Fiendish or an MST with another Safe Zone if it's been testing so well, and 3)have you considered PPV or maybe Starliege over Pearl/Utopia? Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Derp. I forgot that he wasn't. The time I was going to do it my opponent actually quit the duel before I could. That's sad. Well, at least he can still put the counters there. I might maybe consider a third safe zone, though to be honest it does end up clogging. One duel I drew into 5 traps (2 safe zone) and a Foolish Burial, and would have lost if I didn't draw into Alien Ammonite the following furn by pure luck. I am assuming PPV is Photon Papilloperative? I might consider it, though Star is harder to make in this deck and I think a bit too specific for me. Half of my monsters are EARTH or DARK, not LIGHT. The main reason I put in Utopia was because it's a LIGHT and can help stall for a turn to set up my combos, but I could also go aggressive with Papilloperative. Also, I'm trying to think of room for another Thrasher. Probably -1 Call?
Darj
Maybe try 1 Genex Ally Birdman and 1 Genex Ally Triforce? With Birdman you can recycle Ammonites and with the Alien Summoned by Ammonite go for Triforce, who gains an effect from any of your Level 4 Aliens. What to drop? aA 3rd copy of Call of Haunted or Fiendish Chain perhaps, to help with your problem of hands clogged with S/Ts.
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I'm not so sure about that. I don't really need any aliens in defense mode, as cool as it is to recycle Ammonite. Also, I've decided to try out Swords of Concealing Light since it lets me overcome stuff like Dracosack, Stardust, and decks whose cards rely on a certain type of monsters to be face-up. Not to mention of course making monsters easier to run over. There's a SMALL possibility I will consider Red Dragon Archfiend as a result of this change, but I'd need the space. I could probably remove Mist Wurm.

PPV is Planet Pollutant Virus, and I've found it to be a fairly decent boardwipe with an added bonus of free Aliens if your opponent puts something on the field. And I guess Papi is a possibility over Utopia. Also, have you thought about Mysterious Triangle? It's a +1 that can happen pretty darn easily with Gol'gar. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I don't know if I play enough Aliens to justify it, but I can try. I've also noticed that I believe I have way too many gimmick cards to use with Gol'Gar, and there's also a problem sometimes where there's no monsters I can play because I have Gol'Gar or King Feral (with no aliens in grave) which means I can't play Masked Chameleon, or alternatively Photon Thrasher. Bringerofcake
Maybe drop Swords of Concealing Light for a ROTA to get Thrasher to hand faster?
Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I considered that, but it will be a dead draw half of the time anyways. I did put Concealing Light into the side deck though. I'm updating the first post's list, though now it looks even more like the original deck list. I am probably going to drop Shyneet because I only ever made it once in testing, and that's because I was being stupid and revived my only other Alien besides Ammonite and attached it to a Maestroke without a target. If I had picked anything that could detach automatically I would have had a great combo otherwise.
Mugendramon
Ruins aren't even that good since most of the time you don't even have aliens to be destroyed on the board. You might as well cut it to either get to 40 or fit in something.

You might as well cut it to either get to 40 or fit in something. The real reason I use it is to take off extra counters, but 90% of the time it ends up being winmore, or used simply as a continuous spell to return. I may end up just putting Concealing Light back in instead of it. I also decided to put back in the third Call because of the fact that returning Honest to the field and bouncing him to your hand every turn is broken.
