Top 8 Fire Fists

So yeah, after a terrible performance at Regionals last weekend, I revamped my deck, picked up a few cards, revamped the Side, and did a whole lot better this weekend.  3-1 after four rounds of Swiss and top 8.  Lost in top 8, however.

Round 1 vs Dragon Rulers:

Game 1: Didn't draw shit.

Game 2: Sided in 8 cards, only drew 2.  Even though I lost, still did much better.  They'd better ban Return from the Different Dimension, though.

 

Round 2 vs Blue-Eyes:

Won both games easy.  Opponent had nothing to protect against Bear, Cardinal, and the like.

 

Round 3 vs Blackwings:

Barely won the first game; was really back and fourth.  Shadow-Imprisoning Mirrors won me game 2.  Trap Hole also helped.

 

Round 4 vs Constellars:

Win, loss, win here. Bad opening made me lose game 2.

 

Top 8 vs Dragon Rulers.

Same opponent as in Round 1.  Lost first game.  Won second game thanks to Crimson Blader + Gozen Match.  Lost Game 3.
