Why not have another team that's their rival, like Aqua and Magma? Have a team based on the sun, in parallel to Triton, and focus on sun stone evolutions. It thought it would be pretty nice to have two teams as rivals like Aqua/Magma, since it would probably add more to the story. That what I would think anyway.

 

Was actually considering that but not sure atm. Not a lot of Pokemon based off the Sun and not a whole lot of Sun Stone Pokemon either. But that just adds further ideas for Fakemon. Hrm.

True, but there aren't a lot of Pokemon that use the Moon Stone either, they just have a two-Pokemon advantage of that.

 

But what IS possible is to use the other stones that are associated with the Sun and Moon stones: Dawn, Dusk, and Shiny - truthfully, I'm not too sure about the Shiny Stone, but it fits somehow.

 

The three alone add some more Pokemon to the Sun/Moon list.

This is actually a pretty genius idea. Now that I'm not dead tired, and I understand Triton more, I like it. But it makes me think of more sea than space still.

Evolutions are FINISHED. Naming them took forever but its done now. So far all that is done are Names, Types, and Base Stats. Movesets will be done at a later time. Elite 4 and Gym Leader Teams are going to be adjusted to the new evolutions. So here they are.

Hmm... If I could change anything around, I'd have Torkoal's evolution be named Torferno (or something better) instead and make it a Fire/Ground, and then have an alternate Slugma evolution be the Fire/Water. Then I'd have it evolve again just to be epic, although Magcargo would probably have to evolve as well.

 

Oh, and I'd have R'duckulus be a Fighting/Flying as well, 'cause that's just a better type.

 

But I'll leave that up to you.

An evolution for Banette? Awesome.

And if I am reading it correctly, you are giving it 90 base Speed? even better.

Only one question: From which words its name comes from?

 

The term jubaku which means curse or spell. Banette's japanese name Juppeta comes from it. So I kept the marionette portion of its name and put Ju instead of Ba.

Ah, that's great.

 

Paraspectre looks cool too. It will be good to have a Bug/Ghost Pokemon who is not as gimmicky as Shedinja.

You know, if you think about it, Shiny Stone and Dawn Stone don't really make a lot of sense.
I mean, each Stone has like, what, only 2 Pokemon for it? Why not just have them evolve via Sun/Moon?
That, or make them evolve via time of day.

Just as an idea.

 

I wasn't really caring about the stones themselves, but that there could be two teams based on Solar and Lunar evolutions, giving the story more flesh like what Aqua and Magma had. And it won't seem so cliche as every other game with one enemy team. One focuses on making it pure day, the other pure night. Or some weird sh*t.

I like your idea and can't wait to see it done. I like the idea that someone suggested (2 teams, one wants Night (Moon), one Day (Sun), and you could then put a sun/moon eclipse part as the climax. About the new pokemon, you have someone for making the sprites or you will do it yourself?

I think that the reason he is confused is that Absin reminds him of a certain drink called Absint. I know it reminds me.

If I can somehow become artistic in the next 8 months or so, I'll probably do it. If not and most likely, I'll commission people to do them for me. Cause not only do I need the battle sprites; I need menu sprites, back sprites, shiny sprites, etc. But I'm gonna start working on movesets either today or sometime in the next couple of days. With the fakemon done, I'll probably work on the pokedex today.

I pronounced it as Ab-sin, I was wondering why it was spelt so awkwardly with that y. Since it was -sin- vocally, I could guess that it had something to do with sin.

 

That's about the only issue I hard otherwise. I'll probably get on Skype or FB in a bit and annoy you some more.

Also, I can work out a drawing of a map if you'd like. After the drawing, I can try and make it more like the video games, with the pixels and stuff. Or get Tormy to do it provided I give him the drawing of it.

 

And some NPC characters, their personalities, etc. I mean, if you want. You don't have to.
