"I know, I know Grandpa". Brady sighed. "Using the best cards first isn't always the best way to go."
"Then why do you still do it?" Grandpa John commented.
"I do not!"
"We'll see."

The two equipped their duel disks and readied their decks.

Together they exclaimed, "Duel!"

"My move!" Drawing a card was Brady. He studied his hand, paused, and wiped off the sweat caused from the scorching hot basement of his Grandfather's apartment onto his plain black
t-shirt. He moved his eyes across left to right amongst his six cards: Alexandria's Double, Negate Attack, Sorcerer's Magic Act, Plasma Bolt Magician, Nightmare Witch, and Magic Alexandria.
He grabbed one of his cards from his hand tightly and placed it onto his disk firmly, summoning a monster. "I summon Plasma Bolt Magician in attack mode! I'll also set a card face down. Your go, Grandpa."

"And you're last" said another man in barging into the basement. John Lune, you're under arrest for plotting to revolt against the Society of Victor."

"Wha-?" Brady gasped.

"No! You can't have me! Brady run! I'll be with you soon!"

Another man stood next to the first man, but not for long. He started to chase Brady up the stairs and into the streets of Skyrock City. He forced his way through crowds of pedestrians and even accidentally knocked a few people over. "Dammit! Stop running twerp!" the man shouted at Brady. Soon he was corned into an alleyway between two apartment buildings. The window was open on one, and it looked to be the only escape as going straight forward was a dead end. Brady kicked the man in the black suit in his genitals and jumped up, grabbing the window ledge. "Dammit I'm slipping!" With one last burst of adrenaline, Brady sprung upwards and through the window.

"WHO THE HELL IS THERE?!" The show curtain opened and a teenage girl looked out. "BRADY?!" the girl shrieked. "Hey Ellie, I know you think I'm a pervert right now, but a man from the Society of Victor just arrested my Grandpa with charges of treason and now they're after me, he'll come in here any second."

"I knew this would happen, Brady..." Ellie sighed, hiding her body with the shower curtain. "I knew they would come after you since we found out you're the chosen one back in the second grade."

"Well what I am to do?" Brady questioned.

THUD.

"NO! He's almost here!"

"Ellie, who is that?" another woman's voice sounded from outside the bathroom door.

"Oh shit... um... no one!" Ellie answered. It was her mom. A hand appeared at the ledge of the window.

"Oh god, there he is..." Brady whispered.

Brady, outside the shower and being the only one to make a move, grabbed a flower pot from the sink and rushed over the window. "Get away!" He smashed the man's hand and the man fell down from the six to ten foot ledge.

"Really, Ellie? What was that? I'm coming in. 10... 9..." Ellie's mother started counting.

"Dammit, Brady! Um... this is only happening to get rid of my mom for a few minutes..."

"8... 7..."

"What do you mean? Wait, what is happening?" Brady snapped back in confusion.

"Take your clothes off, big boy." Ellie ordered, somewhat casually.

"6..."

"Big boy?"

"Shut up, shut that window and drop your droors, take off your clothes, and get in here."

"We can just tell her the truth."

"5..."

"And get sent off to live with my dad? I've been in trouble with school and I have strike 3 in the pitcher's hands... come on Brady."

"4..."

"Fine..."

"3..."

Brady quickly undressed and threw his clothes into one of the sink droors.

"2..."

He then hopped in the shower.

"1..."

The door floor open and Ellie's mom sped into the bathroom. "Yeah mom... someone's here... me... naked... and now you... get out!"

"I could have sworn I heard ruckus. Don't agitate me like that, Ellie."

The door shut and Ellie and Brady let out the air they kept in their mouths while the room was filled with panic. Ellie looked over at Brady and gave him the eye. The what-the-hell-are-you-staring-at-eye. "Stop staring. We're not an item." Ellie snapped. "Oh, because you're totally not eying my piece." Ellie started giggling after trying to hold it back.

"Haha, eying your piece? I love you man." Ellie let loose and lightly pushed Brady back into the wall. "I mean, I really love you..." She kissed him and the moment became glazed in gold. She bit his lip playfully and pulled back. She started playing with her wet brown head of hair... "Wake up."

"Wake up?"

"Yes."

"Wait... wak-" Brady woke. Sleeping next to Ellie in the only bed on the RV that belonged to his best friend, Cosmic Jonah. Cosmic, of course, driving. He was about to move but decided better of it when he realized Ellie was using his chest as a pillow. "Just like in the movies..." Brady whispered to himself. Or so he thought. He heard laughter. Cosmic's laughter. "Why don't you tell her you love her, dude? I mean it would've delayed her kicking you out of her shower and you could have gotten some ass."

"Well... I think I realized that." Brady said slightly louder, but still kept it to a whisper.

"I had a dream where she came on to me..."

"Came... came... came on to... who?" An awakening Ellie yawned as she got up. Brady had to come up with something quick. "Nothing, talking 'bout a duel Cosmic and I saw when we we're younger. Me and him reenacted it."

"Ohh..." she cluelessly sighed. "Listen... we're gonna get your grandpa back, Brady... the three of us are in this together." Ellie ensured.

"Actually the four of us." Another younger girl's voice sounded.

Brady squinted with the face of knowledge. He knew who it was. "Taylor. You were suppose to stay home!" It was his seven year old sister, Taylor Lune. "And stay with who? Mom and Dad are dead."

"I know, Lil Sister, I know." She crawled up onto Brady's lap. "So I can come with you...?" She gave him goo-goo eyes.

"Yes, baby sister." He nodded, "if you tell me how the hell you snuck into the RV."

[spoiler='Episode 2 - Lexi and the Shadow Bracelets Part I']

 

"There's something we need to tell you." It was the man that arrested Grandpa John. He was talking to another figure behind a desk in a darkened room. The sound of a chair squeeked as the man turned towards the enforcer.
"Spit it out." He said.
The reporting man took a breath. "Grandpa John has been arrested and is outside the room. His grandson Brady escaped."
"No need to worry, we'll find him." The man in the chair said. It was Justin Wager, head of the Society of Victor. Acted as a ruthless dictator and ruled the Skyrock City with the power of inflicting gruesome fear into the hearts of the people. "I taught Brady the basics of dueling back when he was just four years old. I know where he's going." He stood up and walked towards the reporting man. "Dexter Cloyd, send out your agents to get a lead on his escape team."
"Escape team?" Dexter was confused.
"Yes."
"I don't have any word he left with anyone but himself."
"Yes, yes. But I do."
"How many and who is he with?"
"I suspect a minimum of four. He's going with a brunette girl the same age, an older fellow, and probably his sibling."
"Yessir."
"Oh, and you're not in command."
"What?" Dexter replied in confusion.
Justin laughed with a slightness to it. The tiny grin he gave was much more effort than the laugh. If you could even call it that. "My sister in law is. Her name is Lexi Flynn. Make sure your boys keep their filthy hands off from her, she's what the kids like to call around, now adays."
"Around?"
"Yes, around."
Dexter replied, "y Oh lord... so you mean I'm being led by a midteen wild-going teenager??!" Dexter slammed his fist into the wall.
A dark laugh bursting with energy was given by Justin. "Hahahahaha! NO. You're going to the Shadow Realm."




"Alright boys. Each and everyone of you is to be on the top of your game." It was night at a hotel. Easily, these personages were on the road. "And maybe if you do great, and you're cute, you'll get see some of me that I don't usually show. There's 2 possible meanings to that."
Someone from the line of black-suited men laughed. The light black haired girl, Lexi, snapped her direction of vision towards the man who laughed. "You all are very young, about my age. So I get where you're coming at. Tell me, sweetie, why did you laugh?"
"How did you know I laughed?"
"Come on, Devon, I've known you since 6th grade. You laugh at anything I say if it's geeky sounding. Take off the glasses and let me see you're beautiful red eyes."
"I don't show people my eyes. They're not normal." He replied.
Lexi huffed, turned around and whistled with her fingers plunged in between her two lips. "Listen up! Screw off, each and every one of you. Go to your respective rooms. Except Devon, you're following me."
"Yes ma'am."
"Don't call me ma'am, call me Lexi. And call me beautiful. Get the fuck over here, Devon."
He approached Lexi and she pulled him into her face when he was approximately one or two feet from her. She held his face onto hers, so his nose was touching hers. She was strangely angry, but showed signs of some sort of arousal or eagerness at the same time. Devon blinked numerous times under his sunglasses.

"She's gonna kill me. But it wouldn't be bad, I love her. I always have." He though.


"Get the Shadow Bracelets and wait here as I change into something more appropriate. We're going to fetch the fugitives, just us. Together. Also grab the tracking pad." She stepped back a foot and took off her top. She then took Devon's sunglasses off and she kissed him. "I've liked you since we first met. Let's do this together.

"Yes, Lexi." He replied


10:00 PM, the streets in the ghetto of Skyrock City's outskirts

Walking down the street, almost being the only ones walking in the fog and the pouring rain was Brady, Ellie, Cosmic, and Taylor. Ellie leaned up near Brady's ear. "I have a feeling someone's following us. I can sense these things."
"I'm not going to worry. First I need to worry about the safety of my little sister. I mean look at her, she's tired as heck."
Ellie looked into Brady's eyes and blushed. "I think you'd be a great father figure in the future, sooner than you expect. Someone's going to fall in love with you within the next few years and you're going to love her back. Or him... I don't judge."
Brady laughed. "No, I'm good." The four stopped in front of the entrance to LaGenerio's Diner to get some food.


11:00 PM, LaGenerio's Diner.

After finishing their meals, Cosmic iniated a conversation with Ellie. As they talked, Brady sensed Lexi and Devon approaching the Diner. Ellie stopped talking and listened. Cosmic was silent now, too. "I sense them again." Ellie said.
Brady looked into her eyes and shivered his eyes in a fearful manner. "I do, too. We gotta go. Cosmic just leave $200."
Cosmic threw his arms and dropped his jaw at a medium level. "Hell, that's probably a good $150 over what we got." Brady turned to him. "Well than leave 50!" The four hurried and left out the back entrance into the alley even though it wasn't allowed.

When they entered the alley, they found themselves at a dead end trying to leave it. They turned around and saw a motorcylist park his or her bike just outside the alley entrance, which wasn't the one the gang used. The biker took his or her helmet off and let her black hair swoop down in length in ended just below her butt. She was dressed in a black silk tank top that was also a dress and also wore purple leggings with zebra fur boots topping a good four inches under her kneecap.
"She probably goes around." Cosmic said. Taylor leaned her head into Brady's thigh so she couldn't see what was happening. Another man about the same age as the woman walked around the bike and moved next to the girl. He was dressed just like the men who arrested Grandpa John and chased Brady the other day. He had red eyes, however.
"Who are you?" Brady asked. The girl looked at Brady at she appeared to have fallen in deep, deep, love. The boy looked at her with an almost enstranged look on his face and grabbed her arm. "Shall I, Lexi?" She nodded. The boy turned around and threw a small disc onto the wall on the left side of the alleyway about four feet into it. A laser-composed gate lock the six in the alley. The girl grinned. "Well, you can call me Lexi. I'm sending you to the Shadow Realm."
Cosmic stepped forth a good step or two and shot his fist up, all balled up and quivering although controlled. His voice sounded like a gunshot it was so ferocious. "SAYS WHO?!" His New York accent was displaying itself for everyone to get a good collection of. His teeth formed an angry expression within his mouth. He was scared, however, deep inside.
Lexi bended over in a suggestive way. She touched the ground with her hands and slid them to her toe-part of her boots. She let them flow up the boots and she reached inside them when she reached the tops. Snap. She snapped her body back up and in her hands (one in each) was a luminous green disc that just outdid the size of her palm. She threw her arms in a jerking-like way as if she was throwing two frisbees or shuriken. A green-glowing rope launched out from each green disc and formed a cuff around Ellie's left arm and Brady's right arm. The green rope disappeared as if was all an illusion. The cuffs were still on the two's arms. Lexi placed the green discs back in her boots and grinned at the two. "Look at your arms." The two looked at the ir arms only to see a black dueling glove form on their arms. A duel disk grew on top of it. The newly grown objects were like limbs, it hurt to try to tear it off.
"Brady it's stuck on my arm." Ellie stated.
"Huh? Mine is too!" He replied vigorously. "What the hell Lexi?"
Lexi laughed. "You see, now we're playing a game. A bet. A bargain. An ultimate gamble. You see, what I just placed on you're arms are Shadow Bracelets. They're impossible to remove unless a conclusion to the duel has been made. If you win, everything Shadow Bracelet disappears and Devon and I will let you two leave. But hear us out we'll return again if you do indeed win. However, that's never going to happen."
Taylor started crying onto Brady's leg. "What happens if you two are beaten by the girl and guy?" She whined.
"Oh sweetie, they get sent to the Shadow Realm. Forever." Lexi peptalked in a snobbish way. She laughed and hissed, "now all who isn't dueling step back. If you leave the two duelists playing for freedom are automatically dispatched to the Shadow Realm. If they lose, you two duel. Now back up and take a seat at the dead end wall. Remember what happens if you two try to leave." Cosmic grabbed Taylor and picked her up. They advanced to their position they were ordered to report to and sat down on the concrete. A good buttache. He held Taylor in his arms as she sobbed.
Cosmic roared at Lexi and Devon, "you'll never beat Brady and Ellie, witch and toolbag!"
"Enough speak! Let's duel!"

The four drew their five starting cards each. Ellie shouted out first, "I'll go first! I draw!" She ripped a card out from the top of her deck and added it to her hand. "Alright! I activate the Magic card "Gone Shopping"!"

"This allows me to add any equip magic card from my deck to my hand!" She drew out a card from her deck and added it to her hand. The girls disappeared and so do the clothes. She grabbed another card and slapped it onto a monster zone. I summon "Flash Photographer" in defense mode!

Lexi gave her a death stare. "You play small ball, I see. Freak." Giant sparks materialized in the air and threw themselves at Lexi and Devon. They gave out a groan of pain as they saw their life points decrease to 7700.

"I'm not testing your face down card, so I'll end my turn."

Brady drew. "Alright I gotta help Ellie out. She's the one, I mean it. We gotta get through this. For her, for grandpa, for Cosmic, and for Taylor. More importantly, for Skyrock City!" he thought to himself. "Alright, I'll use the spell card "Cry Out To Space"!"

 

 

Devon grew panicky. "What does that do?"
"Yeah, tell us." Lexi added. "It doesn't matter, you'll still lose and literally cry out to mommy in the Shadow Realm. I might free him if he agrees to be my lover though, hehe" she thought to herself as she hid a grin.

Brady quickly answered, "it special summons 1 level 4 or lower alien type monster from my deck or hand! This will put Space Magician on the field!"

A tub appeared above Magic Alexandria as she flew up and swerved around it. Magic Alexandria raised herself above the bathtub and snapped her fingers, causing her clothes to disappear though she had a towel covering her. As she splashed into the tub, she slid the towel above her arm and she snapped her fingers once again. She gave out a slight sound of a moan. A moan of an absorption of power. Her attack points became 3300, raising by a grand 1000.

"Go, Magic Alexandria! Strike down Beach Girl with Beautiful Magic Hurricane Attack!" Brady ordered. She flew up and flung her body at Beach Girl faster than the speed of light, shattering her into pieces and sending her to the Graveyard. Lexi and Devon took another hit to their life points, making their life points equal 6900.
"And don't forget that since Beach Girl isn't on the field anymore, Beach Boy's attack goes back down to 1300!" Brady exclaimed.

Lexi laughed. "Hehe... not quite. My field spell is still activate, look around you Brady." He blushed as he realized how stupid he made himself look. Lexi added, "his attack doesn't drop down back to 1300. It drops to 1600. Which gives me enough attack to not only destroy 1 of the girl's monsters, but both of them."

"I'll just set a card just in case." Brady said. "I end my turn."

Lexi drew a card. Ellie's face grew nervous. She sensed she would need those two cards to summon one of her best fusion monsters. "Oh yeah, I could destroy her monsters, but I won't. I'll attach Beach Boy and Vorse Raider in order to XYZ summon Victoria the Beautiful!"

"NOO!" Brady exclaimed. Truly, what advantage would Lexi's xyz monsters give her?

[spoiler='Episode 3 - Lexi and the Shadow Bracelets Part II']Brady bunched his cheeks up into a grim expression. A drop of sweat dripped down his cheek. Victoria the Beautiful raised her hand and flared a beam of blue light from her palm. An ocean formed from under her painted toenails and washed her feet as liquid replaced gravel. Magic Alexandria lifted herself over the waters and her opponent advanced forward. A blob of water soared up her leg and up her stomach. When it crossed her arms and into her hand it started to glow greatly. She pulled back her arm as if it were a cannon a launched extremely, extremely flaming hot water at Magic Alexandria. Brady saw his monster get destroyed.

 

Lexi smiled at Brady with a half-joyous grin with demented filling the last half of her grin. "But however, I'm not detaching Beach Boy or I'll put Devon and I in danger of losing big time." She stated. "So, instead I'll play the spell card "Joining the Party"! And isn't this a cool thing? Once per turn, I can pay 1000 life points so I can draw a card from my deck. And if I draw a monster card, it gets Special Summoned! All I have to do is skip my next draw phase. Well, Devon's. Because I'll activate it!"

 

Lexi payed up her 1000 life points (now at 5900) and drew 1 card. She laughed. "Ooh, too bad for you!" She revealed her card, "Jump Cheerleader"." She placed the card on a monster zone upon her duel disk and the field saw a cheerleader spring out into action.

"You see, this allows the equipped monster to attack twice during the same battle phase! And I'll equip it to Jump Cheerleader!"

 

A beach ball fell from the sky and landed in her hands, replacing her pompoms. The ball luminated with a green glow of power.

"Go! Victoria the Beautiful, attack Flash Belly Dancer with Burning Splash!" Victoria the Beautiful recreated her burning waters and sent it towards Flash Belly Dancer, destroying her. Ellie's and Brady's life points dropped.

"Argh, they were perfectly fine until now. I mean, they still are!" Cosmic exclaimed.
Taylor sobbed, "they'll win, right?"
"Of course." Cosmic answered.

Lexi set a card. "I'll play a card face down to end my turn."

Devon drew. "Alright! Time to attack! Victoria the Beautiful, destroy Flash Photographer!" Devon ordered.

Again with the water, and again with another destroyed monster. Ellie and Brady now were basically even with Lexi's and Devon's life points.

"Now it's your turn Jump Cheerleader. Attack them directly with Joyous Attack Cheer, twice!" Jump Cheerleader through the beach ball at Brady first. "OWZAOWOOWIOWIWDHGDDHDGDG!" Brady yelped speaking some sort of gibberish. Their life points deteriorating some more. The ball returned to her, and she gunned it at Ellie. Their life points were now even lower.

Ellie was the first to notice. "HEY! What's up with that?! She has an attack of 800 not 900!" She screamed.

Devon was about to answer before Lexi interrupted him. "Nah, nah. Well, yeah. But she gets an additional 100 attack points each time she deals you two damage. Now you know why I chose to equip her with the ball instead of Victoria."

Brady growled quietly. "Grrr...." Ellie shot back, "at least I'm not a whore." Devon laughed. "SHUT UP!!" Lexi shouted in anger. "Now I'm gonna defeat you two quicker!!"

Devon motioned that he ended his turn. "You can't fight, Lexi! You're not coordinated enough after taking so much!" Brady exclaimed "Ah shit, son!" in surprise to Ellie's newly acquired comebacks.

Lexi hissed back, "this is a tag duel, not a verbal duel! Make your move."

Ellie grabbed a card from her hand. "I'll summon Rain Blader in defense mode!" A dark swordsman appeared on the field.

Brady drew. "Gotta do something sooner or later, or we're toast!" He played a spell card. "I play "Magical Mallet!" Which allows me to add any number of cards from my hand back to my deck and also allows me to draw the same number of cards I returned. I'll return 2 and draw 2." He did so. Lexi shouted, "you have no good cards!"

 

Brady eyed her, "you think my cards suck? That's hurting my feelings." He grabbed one of the new cards he acquired through the effects of Magical Mallet. "Alrighty, from my hand, I activate a field spell! Kingdom of Sorcery! We're do you think my Magic Alexandria lives?" The beach flat out disappeared and a castle appeared out of nowheres, standing nearly a thousand feet tall. "Oh yeah, and I'll tribute Rain Blader to bring this dude to the field!" "Who is he?" Lexi cried. "The Morphing Warlock!"

 

Lexi and Devon started to panic. "That don't sound good!" Devon exclaimed as an electric wind swirled around the card as it appeared on the field. Materializing the Morphing Warlock.

"And since Morphing Warlock has 200 more attack points than your Victoria the Beautiful, she's going down! Attack with Lightning Mixed Strike!" The Morphing Warlock clapped his hands together and a blast of lightning quickly shot out from between his hands, striking the girl in the black bathing suit, Lexi's monster Victoria the Beautiful. "And now you're life points are at 5700!" Brady confirmed.
"Shut up!" Lexi replied in fury.
"That's not it! Since up to three spell-casters can attack twice during the same battle phase while Kingdom of Sorcery is active, I'll also use Morphing Warlock to destroy your Jump Cheerleader!" Brady stated.

The Morphing Warlock shot another blast of lightning. This time it struck the Jump Cheerleader and destroyed both her and the Beach Ball. Two cards went to Lexi and Devon's graveyard and their life points dropped to 4200.

"Now, Nightmare Witch, strike them directly with Evil Spellcast!"

The Nightmare Witch performed some weird motions and finalized her move with a summoning of burning black magic. It shot at Lexi and Devon and exploded, forming a black cloud of sparkling dust. After it cleared and Lexi and Devon finished coughing, their 4200 life points decreased to 3200.

Lexi managed to squeeze out, whilst still coughing, "You activated my trap."

The set card from Lexi's last turn lifted up, "I play the trap card, "Undressing"!" Lexi snapped in a hurry. "Okay, tell me what does it do?" Brady asked. Ellie answered for Lexi. "Undressing, Brady. It allows Lexi to pay 200 life points and discard 2 cards."

 

"So?"
"That's not all," Ellie continued, "it also forces both of us to reveal our hands to them. All monster cards are destroyed and sent to the graveyard."
"Damn." Brady replied.
Ellie turned her head away from Brady in sadness. "That means my Miss Kiss and Kamasarra are sent to graveyard."
"I don't have any more monsters in my hand. See!" Brady said as he flashed his hand at his two opponents.
Ellie, in a sad voice, answered back. "Then you discard your top 5 cards from the top of your deck."
Brady was confused. "Discarding? What discarding?!"
Cosmic now explained it, "when the target player to the trap card Undressing lacks a monster card to finish the trap's special ability, that player discards his or her first 5 cards from the top of their deck."
"Ughhh... fine." Brady did so. "I'll set a card face down and end my turn."

"Devon, it's time to strike back!" Lexi shouted as a card was drawn. She used it right away, "I'll activate "Pot of Greed" to draw 2 more cards atop my original draw." She stated.

 

 

She drew the two cards. "Okay, I summon Tanning Girl in defense mode!"

"I'll use Morphing Warlock to destroy your Defense Boulder!" Ellie said. The Morphing Warlock sent another blast at Squeezera Defense Boulder and destroyed it. "Remember, Brady's field spell card is still in effect! So now I'll use him again to destroy your Tanning Girl!" The Morphing Warlock sent another blast and it pierced Tanning Girl through her stomach, shattering her into a thousand pieces.

"Now I'll use two attacks from the Nightmare Witch and attack you directly!" The Nightmare Witch launched two powerful direct attacks, so Devon and Lexi took 2000 damage instead of just 1000 damage. The life point meter for the two duelist dropped down to 200 points.

Taylor and Cosmic shot up from their seated position in excitement. "I can't believe they did it! They actually won!" Cosmic shouted uncontrollably. Brady turned around. "WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSE TO MEAN?!" He gunned back. Cosmic's face became red with embarrassment. "Er... I mean, I knew you two would win... hehe..." Cosmic corrected himself, or tried to.

"Shut up doofuses. I'm not done." Ellie stated.
Lexi gave her a glare. "THEN FINISH US OFF ALREADY!"
Ellie smiled, blushing as Brady looked at her. He saw the final move commanded by Ellie in slow motion, was this love or just the heat of the moment making time go so slow?
Ellie commanded, "Bee Girl, end this for us girlfriend! Haha, I attack you with yet another direction attack." Bee Girl did so. Devon and Lexi were defeated.

The disks around Ellie's and Taylor's arms shattered and the green ropes that made this all happen shot back towards the two defeated duelists, causing an explosion to occur when it reached them. After the quick cloud of green dust faded away, the four saw Lexi and Devon unconcious on the floor. "Are they in the Shadow Realm?" Ellie wondered.
"No, only the duelists who were the targets of the Shadow Bracelets risk going to the Shadow Realm. We should escape before these two wake up." Cosmic answered. "I know we're the RV is, follow me." Taylor and Cosmic started out the newly exitable alley way (as the gate disappeared). In the five to ten seconds the two had alone, Ellie lunged at Brady and hugged in. "Thank you! Thank you... thank you... thank you, Brady..." He blushed and held her close to him as well. "Ahh, it was nothing Ellie. Let's get going." He replied. Ellie let go and nodded. The two exited the alley way and disappeared, rejoining Taylor and Cosmic. It was a job well done.

[spoiler='Episode 4 - The Wild Forest Duel']"Hurry up, Cosmic!" Brady shouted.  "I have to use the freakin' bathroom!" Brady shouted. "I'll park it, dude. Calm your horses. Look, a gas station right over there." Cosmic parked the RV and 

 

Brady flew out the vehicle and hustled towards the store.

 

"Yo, yo!" Brady shouted, rudely swinging the doors open in a destructive manner. He was doing the potty dance. "Huh?" The girl at the cash register, the only person in the store besides Brady 

 

 quietly let out. She looked up.

"Yes?"

"Where does one go if they need to take a leak?" Brady asked.

The cash register girl giggled at pointed to left side of the store. She was maybe 17, 18 years old.

 

A minute passed and he left the bathroom. "Ahhh... thank you. By the way what is your name? You seem like you never get to see anyone."

"Who... me?" The girl asked.

"No, the person next to you... yeah, you!"

"Oh... well... yeah it does get pretty lonely here. I don't see the point of having a gas station in the middle of no where." the girl responded.

Brady looked around out the window, "Yeah, I guess it is in the middle of no where now that you mention it."

The girl laughed. "Where you headin'?"

"To Carla."

"That city isn't too far from here. Where you from?"

"Skyrock."

"I heard that place is corrupt."

"It is."

"Oh."

"Okay, well I gotta get goin'. We need to find some place to eat since it is gettin dark."

"Well the store closes in another ten minutes. Want to go to my place? My father is very nice and makes dinner every night that always gets left over! He cooks too much food!" The girl 

 

offered.

"Oh yeah sure! Can a few friends come?" Brady answered.

"How many?"

"Three..."

"That's quite a few. How old?"

"21, a guy. 14, a girl. 7, my little sister."

"That's fine. I'll start closing the store down now." The girl said as she took off her uniform shirt, which had a pink tank top under it. She grabbed her denim blue jacket and keys and 

 

turned off the lights.

As they left the store, the girl turned around and locked the store down.

"What is your name again?" Brady asked.

"Madison. Madison Fujisu." She answered. "You?"

"Brady Lune." The two shook hands and approached the RV. Brady opened the door and showed her the way inside. Cosmic was the first to notice her. He was in love. "Who's this?" He asked.

"Madison. She's the clerk of that gas station store." Brady answered.

"Who's he?" Madison asked.

"He's Cosmic, the oldest. He has a strong city accent. Feel free to pick on him."

Cosmic was embarrassed. "Feel free to pick on him for being friend zoned by Ellie!" He answered.

"Who called me?" Ellie appeared, not hearing the "friend-zoned" bit.

"No one." Brady answered.

"Who's she?" Ellie asked.

"Madison. She's offering us dinner with her and her father at her place."

"BLTs." Madison added. Cosmic put the RV in action and was zooming down the street. "Where'do'ya'live?!" Cosmic answered. He was thirsty for bacon, lettuce, AND tomatoes...

 

The six ate the BLTs like as if it were a feast. Chow, chow, chow. Chomp, chomp, chomp. "So then I told him, I said spice not rice!" Cosmic finished the punchline. Everybody bursted out 

 

laughing.

"Ahhh..." Madison's father wiped his mouth with a napkin. "So where are you four headin', again?" he asked.

"Carla." Brady answered.

"Why, all the way from Skyrock?" He asked.

"Well, I gotta go in the mornin', but that's a So-Vic safe zone. I need to live there while I concieve a plan to rescue my grandfather from them."

"Little Yugi goin' on in him!" Cosmic added.

"Well, at night, be careful." Mr. Fujisu warned.

Ellie bunched up her nose, confused. "Why?"

"Yeah, why?" Taylor added, playing with her food.

"The Wildman. He's a duelist, just like you three... or four." Mr. Fujisu explained. "Prays on those who wander these forests. But he's never reported near here. So I think we should be 

 

safe."

Everybody was quiet for the rest of dinner, and the four returned to the RV to sleep for the night. Taylor left her bag with her stuffed animals right outside the RV by accident.

 

2 AM. Taylor woke up, thinking to herself. "I forgot my bag of stuffed animals outside the RV..." She got up and exited the RV.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

 

Brady woke instantly. "Who just screamed?" He questioned.

Cosmic answered, "I don't know! Ellie or Taylor."

"I'm right here!" Ellie confirmed flying out from blankets and the spot she was sleeping at.

"TAYLOR!!" The three panicked. They grabbed their bags and sprinted out the RV as fast as ever.

 

Cosmic turned his head at a wall of small bushes. They shook and a noise of movement passing through it sounded. He pointed, "over there!"

"Let's go!" Ellie and Brady replied. They gave a heavy pursuit for about five minutes before catching up with whatever was out there. It was a dark, gloomy, plain. The middle of the forest. 

 

There, a man stood. He appeared to be a tribesman. A coffin was held by him.

"Hey! Stop! What were you doing by our RV and where did you take my little sister?!" Brady shouted.

The tribesman grunted and gave out one laugh. Just one. No string, just one. "What... do... you mean?" The man lifted his head at three. He swung his arm around and the coffin opened. Taylor 

 

laying unconscience in it, with black rope-like strings imprisonating her into it.

"LET HER GO!" Brady shouted. "YOU DUMB WILDMAN!"

"Yeah!" Ellie added. Cosmic gave out something too, "Let her go, dude, she's seven!"

 

The man lifted his other arm as he let loose the one he moved when the coffin opened. The coffin closed. A duel disk appeared out of nowhere onto the newly moved arm. "I'll let her go anyhow, 

 

because she was just the bait. And you took it."

The three grew even more panicky. "What? You tricked us?"

"No, I lured you. There IS a difference. I need someone more powerful."

Brady took a step forward and formed a fist, waving it in the air towards the Wildman's general direction. "More powerful than what? My little sister?"

He laughed. "No. I stronger host..."

"Host?" Ellie responded. "You mean like the tribesman is just possessed? Who are you?" She demanded answers. The man laughed. She was enraged. So was Cosmic and Brady. "Yes... exactly. For 

 

who I am, that is for you to find out in a matter of time... you'll see. But there is no way you'll defeat me."

"I can, too!" Ellie snapped back at the man.

"Incorrect, for I am not going to duel you." The man reasoned.

"Because I'm a girl?" Ellie asked.

"Incorrect. Because you're not powerful."

"I'll show you!" Ellie started to move towards the man, but Cosmic held her back.

"I'll defeat you." Cosmic claimed.

"Incorrect. Not powerful enough." The man replied.

"I'm stronger than Brady." Cosmic replied.

"Incorrect. Physical strength, correct. Emotionally, however, incorrect. The boy and his sister appear to have a strong bond. Therefore, his will to fight for her makes him far more powerful 

 

than you at the given moment. So I shall duel him."

"Fine..." Cosmic crossed his arms.

 

Brady equipped his duel disk. He stepped forward. Ellie and Cosmic stepped back. "If there's no strength a family bond, then what I am capable of doesn't matter. But you shall pay for what you've done to my sister, and you shall pay for the tribesman you stole!" Brady started glowing with an orange and black shine. Surrounding his body, not in his skin. "Oh lord. He can have at max a 1900 attack power!" Cosmic yelled.

"Correct. But that would require 2 more cards than that necessary. I'll choose to discard the top card from my deck! Now he's at 900 attack! Go! Card Gunning Shot!" The Card Trooper raised its 

 

cannons at shot a couple cards out of it. They rained onto the Shadow Conjuror, destroying him. The shot cards disappeared. "I end my turn, boy."

 

"I still have all my life points, Wildman! I'm just getting started!" Brady looked at two traps, Negate Attack and Jar of Greed. "I'll set two cards face down and summon Alexandria's Double in defense mode!" A guardian girl appeared, her form was constantly changing as an electric glaze traveled up and down her body continuously. When all the way up, Magic Alexandria. When all the way down, her normal form.

"Now go! Berserk Gorilla! Attack his Witch!" The Wildman ordered. Nightmare Witch was destroyed and Brady's life points dropped from 4000 to 3000. "Now, Element Saurus!" Another attack, this time Brady took 1500 points of damage. From a newly met 3000, subtract some more... now at 1500."

 

"You're time is up. I'll have your body overrun by spirit in no time! Muhahahahaha!" The Wildman mocked.

"Who are you?!" Brady roared.

The Wildman appeared to have some sort of convulsion and discarded a purple gas from his mouth, falling over when it disappeared. The duel disk wrapped around the arm of a newly forming body from the purple gas. "I am Shutendoji!"

 

"A zombie monster!" Cosmic realized.

"You have to beat him!" Ellie added.

"It's not like I'm not trying to beat him!" Brady answered.

"You!" Shutendoji pointed at Brady. "Stop talking. Make your move."

"Fine! I draw!" Brady drew again. "Dang, I need something that'll allow me to get a stronger monster than his Berserk Gorilla. Ellie isn't as strong as her sister, but I can inflict damage 

 

when she's destroyed and draw one card while I'm at it." Brady thought to himself.

"I summon Ellie the Sister of Alexandria in defense mode!"

"Dang." Brady was shocked.

"Now! Gorilla! Take his soul!" Brady flipped over his face down card. "I activate Negate Attack to negate the attack of your Berserk Gorilla and end the battle phase." Brady answered back.

"Destroying your Lesser Fiend!" The Lesser Fiend was destroyed. "You fool! Stop trying to resist!" "Never! I'll never stop trying! As long as it's for my sister, for Cosmic, for my grandpa, and for Ellie! And even for the man you snatched as a puppet for your own evil deeds!" Brady shot back.

"That man has died. When I left his body he was drained of all energy." Shutendoji responded.

"YOU SHALL PAY! WITH THE POWERS MAGIC ALEXANDRIA HAS BESTOWED UPON ME! THE POWERS OF HOPE, JUSTICE, AND SALVATION! LIBERATION!" Brady roared. He drew.

 

"Go Brady!" Cosmic and Ellie cheered.

 

"I summon to the field, Ellie the Sister of Alexandria in attack mode! But she's not staying. I'll overlay Ellie and Dark Gel to build the overlay network in order to Xyz-summon Magician Girl

"To battle! Magician Girl of Shining Magic! Shining Wave!" The Magician Girl of Shining Magic winked and leaped further into the air. She poised her staff and ignited the end to form some 

 

sort of ball of energy. It spurt out and hit Shutendoji. His life points dropped from 3100 to 1300."

 

"Your era of tyranny is over, Shutendoji. Prepare yourself." Brady warned.

"Yeah! Show him Brady!" Cosmic yelled in excitement.

Ellie too, "Yeah, we knew you could do it!"

 

"Er....." Shutendoji drew a card.

"WHAT? I CAN'T MAKE A MOVE WITH THIS HAND!" Shutendoji cried.

 

"Then I'll end it here!" Brady said as he drew. "Alright! To battle! Shining Wave!" The Magician Girl of Shining Magic attacked Shutendoji again and dropped his life points down to 0; winning 

 

the duel.

 

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Shutendoji disappeared in the air, vanquished. The coffin reappeared and opened, dropping Taylor out. Brady looked at Taylor and fell before he made one step towards her. He 

 

just... collapsed.

 

"Brady!" Ellie rushed and picked him up. Cosmic went a picked up Taylor, bringing her to the other two. Brady slowly opened up his eyes. ".... El... Ellie...?" Brady managed to squeeze out. 

 

"What was that? And yes, it's me." Ellie answered. "... was what?"

"Whatever happened before the duel, when you screamed?" Ellie asked.

"I guess... I realized the bond between me and Alexandria. She's like my guardian. She called out to me, so I returned it and called out to her."

"You had a glow around you the entire duel." Ellie answered back.

"Are you sure you're not just in love with me...?"

"The glow disappeared when you collapsed." Ellie replied and blushed. "I'm not... in... in love... with you... I mean... come on... we're just... friends! Yes! Just... haha... um... friends." 

 

She gulped.

"I need to sleep." Brady said as fell asleep.

 

Cosmic and Ellie took the Lune siblings into the RV and Cosmic returned to his driving duties. The duel finished right before morning, anyways.[/spoiler]

[spoiler='Episode 5 - Welcome to Carla']The RV slowly approached the security entrance to Carla. Men in police uniforms worked as they should, stopping and examining those entering Carla, because that's how it worked around the cities around the area. The RV was next. Slowly, slowly... halt.

 

 

"Name?" the guard asked.

"Cosmic Jonah." Cosmic peeked his head out of the window.

"How many in the RV? No guns, no Shadow Realm connections, nothing... fishy?"

"4. No guns. No Shadow Realm portals, and I did have a fish. He died though."

"Don't get mouthy."

"That wasn't... never mind." Cosmic shrugged.

"Names of the other three?" The guard asked.

"Ellie Mikaylah. Brady Lune. Taylor Lune." Cosmic answered.

"Ages."

"I'm 18. Ellie Mikaylah is 15. Brady Lune is 15. His little sister, Taylor, is 7."

"Are you their father?"

"......... yes, sir, I had the two fifteen year olds when I was 3 and the seven year old when I was 11.... really?"

"Watch your attitude, son." The guard handed him four tickets. "I'll keep my eyes on you."

"Creeper." Cosmic answered.

 

That night the four checked into a hotel. Ellie and Brady were taking a walk through the city, alone. It started to snow up north, so Carla experienced snowfall.

"So... about that night..." Ellie started.

Brady interupted, "Which one?"

"Well..."

"The shower?"

"Hmmmmmm.... noo...."

"Yes."

"NO!"

"Yeesssss." Brady laughed.

"No, about that transformation. Your glow. It scared me." Ellie said.

"I already told you." Brady said.

Ellie squinted and stopped. Brady turned around. "She's my guardian angel. Well, I don't actually know that. But..."

"She's like your bigger sister. Replacement." Ellie suggested.

"Yeah... I guess. When she died when I was five, I grew closer to that card. It speaked to me the weekend she died. She told me she loved me."

"She... did? That's her last words...?"

"No. Magic Alexandria did." Brady answered. "She told me she and her had a spiritual connection. She was a duel spirit, a sacred one. Not ever used as a card. I found it a year before Morgan died. Exact. I did the math."

"She guides you."

"She always did." Brady added, "she even told me when my life is threatened, she'd ignite it."

"The transformation?" Ellie wondered.

"Yes. It's called Trinity."

"That's not the definition of trinity."

"No... it's just named after the word trinity." Brady corrected.

She smiled and clenched his arms, taking two steps in. You could see their breath. "I'm glad you're okay."

"Is that all?" Brady asked. Ellie blushed.

"... no..." she hesitated. The two slowly leaned in and they kissed.

 

The next morning Cosmic asked Brady to duel him. Indeed, it would be good practice. The two went to an unoccupied basketball court, since it was glazed with a field of snow. "Prepare yourself." Cosmic jokingly warned, readying his duel disk.

"I'm going all out." Brady answered. He glew up again.

"With the powers she has bestowed upon me; ALEEEEEEEXAAAANDRIIIAAAA!!!" he went through the weird transformation again, the Trinity.

 

"DUEL!" The two exclaimed.

"I got this." Cosmic placed his fingers on numerous cards after drawing five, thinking. "Alright, it has been a while. Take it easy, alright?"

Brady answered back, "No."

"Of course you'd say that." Cosmic commented as he drew his sixth card and began the duel. He immediately placed the card on the field. "Meet the Warrior-Hearted Girl! Go! Slash Warrior Appa! Attack mode!" A female warrior saw her way on the field. "Raaa!" She shrieked in a roar.

Cosmic spoke after the summoning, "don't try to snatch her for your own use, Brady!"

"How come?" he sarcastically answered.

"She can't be controlled by my opponent, no matter what! It's her own little special power." He eagerly explained. "And I guess I'll throw down 3 set cards to clean my hand. Your turn, now."

 

"My draw!" Brady drew his sixth card. "I'll set a monster." He set a monster in face down defense position. No monster appeared over the card.

"Wow, when's the last time I've seen someone set a monster?" Cosmic remarked.

"I don't know, dude. But that's it. I end my turn." Brady replied.

 

Cosmic drew. "Alright, Appa! Attack his face down with Swishing Slash!" "Raaaaaaaa!" She sounded again, this time longer as she swung her blade at the face down monster.

"Not-so-FAST!" Brady quickly exclaimed as he discarded a card from his hand. "I discard Shadow Conjuror. This is his special ability, forcing the negation of your attack!"

 

 

A black mist shot out in a gyser-like blast; right in front of the female warrior. "Hrraaahhh..." she reacted as she tensed up in a fright. She somersaulted back to her original position, failed in her attack attempt.

 

"Alright. Time to back her up. Slash Warrior the ARMY! Lead your brave warriors!"

 

"RAAAAAAAARR!" Another warrior-monster appeared on the field. It was male. It just looked like an army leader.

A javelin appeared and he gripped it, he felt energy rush into him. His life points raised to 5700. Cosmic felt the unforgetable pain of taking life point damage. His life points dropped to 5200.

 

"Now! Slash Warrior Army is your target Sly! Lust Magic Attack!" She shot a bolt of lightning from her weapon. BOOM! Army down. Again, pain was felt by Cosmic. His life points dropped to 4750. "I'll set a card." Brady said. "End."

 

Cosmic drew. "I activate Double Summon! Allowing me to normal summon twice this turn!" "First I'll summon Slash Warrior Queen in attack mode!"

Cosmic smirked, too. "Nope, she's got herself a special ability. Watch." The Queen raised her body. She then conjured some beam of light over the Sly Sorceress and herself. A wind appeared, forming a tornado. It cleared quickly, but the two were gone. An arrow of wind struck Brady and it hit him hard. His life points dropped from 4000 to 1050. "How the hell?"

 

"She allows me to target herself and one of your monsters, then destroy both of them and deal their combined attack power!" Cosmic stated.

"Holy O.P." Brady said.

 

"And now I'll summon Slash Warrior Hawk!" A boy with wings appeared.

Taylor woke up at 3:00 AM. Not to get a drink, or find her brother, or grab anything. She woke up due to talking. Boys talking. Familiar voices. Cosmic and Brady. She stretched and removed 

 

the teddy bear off from the pyjama top she was wearing. She sat up and stretched, yawning. "Arrrrrrrrrhhh... what are they doing... this late...?" She yawned again and hopped out of bed. She 

 

grabbed her teddy and walked out of her room, exploring the apartment. When she passed her bedroom door, she saw a light that would probably be a flashlight's doing and it was coming from the 

 

table in the room where the four ate. She heard the boys whispering as she snuck up on them. When she approached from behind she tapped their shoulders, "Boo!" she screamed. She laughed as 

 

her brother and Cosmic responded in terror, shrieking worse than she would if someone snuck up on her. Brady's mouth dropped. "Taylor! What are you doing?" Brady absolutely ignored the fact 

 

it was basically the dead of night and used his lungs in a crushing manner... when he screeched like a girl. Well, so did Cosmic.

"YEAH! Why'd'ya do 'dat?! You freaked us out little one..." He was basically holding back tears.

Attempting to stop her giggling, she responded "What are you two talking about at 3:00 at night?"

"We're talking about scary Duel Monsters." Brady replied.

"Yeah." Cosmic said.

"Oh... yeah that reminds me...", Taylor pulled out a handful of cards. "Remember when you gave me these? I don't remember much about Duel Monsters but it'd be nice to relearn. You, Ellie, and 

 

Cosmic all know all 'bout this stuff.

Cosmic placed his left hand behind his head and scratched. "I can teach ya." Cosmic offered.

"No. I think I should teach you, sis." Brady commented.

"I don't want any of you teaching me!" Taylor screamed, causing the two to back up a few inches.

"Calm yourself Taylor. You shouldn't even be up at this time of night, either." Brady told her.

"Yeah, I know. But I was thinking instead of hauling me around you can send me to school while we're here in Carla."

"You wanna go back to school?" Cosmic was confused. His face turned into a confused face, too.

"NO! I don't wanna go to "school" school!"

Brady and Cosmic looked at eachother. Brady then turned his attention back to Taylor. "Then what are you talking about, sis?" Brady asked.

"Carla Elementary Duel Academy. It'll only cost twenty five money a month." Taylor added.

"Hmmmm... you'll start tomorrow!" Brady quickly exclaimed.

 

That next morning the four arrived at the Academy early. Taylor had all her Duel Monsters stuff in her bag. She also hid her teddy bear at the bottom of her bag despite her brother telling 

 

her to leave it at the apartment. They quickly met Taylor's new teacher. Her name was Mindy, a graduate from Duel Academy Island. She was the same Mindy who spent those years alongside Alexis 

 

Rhodes, Jasmine, Jaden Yuki, Syrus and Zane Truesdale, Blair Flannigan, etc. "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Lune, am I correct?" Mindy pointed at Brady and Ellie. The two blushed.

"Ehh... no." Brady corrected. "I just turned 16 yesterday. Ellie's turning 15 next week." "Someone has to be an adult for her to enter the Elementary." Mindy replied. Cosmic raised his hand. 

 

"Not related to her, but I'm an adult."

Mindy smiled. "And you're cute!" She manuevered her way extremly close to Cosmic. "You a city boy?" She asked, giggling. "Uhhh... yeah." He blushed. "Let's see her duel. She needs to beat the 

 

Entrance Exam robot in order to enroll. It should be a little under Taylor's skill level. Follow me to the Duel Field and we'll get started."

They continued as told.

 

Taylor equipped her duel disk onto her arm and inserted her shuffled deck into it. The robot, resembling Kuriboh with long arms, played on the traditional mat. Ellie placed her hand on 

 

Brady's arm as they, along with Mindy and Cosmic (Mindy watching holding Cosmic's arm to Cosmic's secret comfort), watched the examination duel from the stands. "Brady... what if she doesn't 

 

win." "What if we went and played strip Duel Monsters...?" Ellie slapped him. "Nevermind!" Ellie stormed off to sit on her own. "I was kidding...! Unless you actually wanted to! I mean, er, 

 

dangit!" Brady tried to stop her, but gave up and turned back. He continued to watch his sister's duel.

 

"DUEL!" Mindy commanded, starting the duel. "Taylor, you'll go first! The robot will respond like a duelist who may be a year or two younger than you. You start with 4000 life points. First 

 

to 0 loses. Try to win, sweetie."

 

"I plan out it." Taylor answered.

The robot's monster swooped in towards the stuffed rabbit and gashed it into two bits, the stuffing and the rest of the monster disappeared before it touched the ground (the stuffing) and a child-safe damage system activation. The screen showing the status of the duel changed one of its values. Taylor's life points dropped down to 2700. "Oooh... I don't think that minus in my life is good for me." Taylor sighed.

 

"Hmmm, maybe that card has a special ability, Taylor?" Mindy gave some advice. Taylor looked up at Mindy and heard the advice, turned her head back to the field, and proceeded.

"Huuuuhhh... oh yeah! I get to draw one card from deck when my teddy bear monster, Stuffed Rabbit, is destroyed after it was attacked or attacked and lost!" Taylor remembered, drawing a card.

The robot entered the second main phase. "Retrieving info. Info received. Can enter next main phase. Analyzing field. No defense. No defense. Must protect. Activate Swords of Revealing Light spell card. Opponent cannot attack for opponent's next three turns. End phase. End turn."

 

 

"I now I get to draw again! Since it's my new turn!" Taylor cheered, drawing her next card. "Hmmmm... another spell." She thought, sticking her tongue out. Not insultingly, but in a studious way. Placing it to the right of her lip. She squinted. She continued to think, "Ahhh... I got it. This spell will let me place a counter on any revealed card on the field or add or subtract a 

 

turn the same way. And that mean's the robot's field is part of it." She thought. Now she spoke. "I'll use Counter Crank! This spell lets me place a counter on any of your face up cards. But since your dumb Sword card won't let me fight, I'll use its other special ability option! I get to pick your Swords of Revealing Light and get rid of a turn I have to wait in order to fight. So next turn is my last turn and not the turn after! Weeeeee!" She let in air.

"I'll also activate my card that wasn't revealed to you. My trap, Call of the Haunted! This allows me to take 

one monster from my grave and put it back on the field as long as this trap card stays on the field! The only way it goes bye-bye is bye destroying either it or the monster! Stuffed Rabbit! I 

 

choose you!"

 

The Stuffed Rabbit returned, appearing back on the field. "But I'll get rid of them by myself! I get to let go of a monster to bring out a five or six star monster out to play! So I'll get rid of the Stuffed Rabbit and my trap in order to use Dark Magician Girl!"

by 1000. Blade Skater attack equals 2400. Results... my favor. Enter battle phase. Attack Dark Magician Girl." The Blade Skater, newly equipped with gloves, went in for it and destroyed the Dark Magician Girl. Taylor's life points dropped to 2300. "Not again..." she sighed.

 

 

"Entering end phase. Turn complete. End turn." The Robot ended its turn.

 

"My turn." Taylor drew. She gazed upon it. "A spell card... Small Xyz..." She subsequently played it.

"I activate my Small Xyz card! It allows me to overlay any monsters with two stars or one star from my hand in order to establish the overlay network and Xyz summon a monster based on the overlayed monsters. If they both are two stars I get to keep my Xyz monster on the field for this turn only. But I get to have two turns to keep it! So I need to overlay monsters with only one star! And that's... haha kinda only what I can overlay now." She grabbed two cards from her hand and revealed them. (Kuriboh and Shy Dragon). The overlay network established and it brought out an Xyz monster.

"This one is soooo cute!!!" Taylor cheered.

 

 

The Lord of Teddy Bears

"And I know he's not as strong as your skater girl, but The Lord of Teddy Bears has its special ability! I get to pick one monster you have a toss a coin! I need to call heads or tails while 

 

it is in the air and when it lands I get to do something! If I say it is something and it lands on that side, your monster I picked goes bye-bye and you have to lose life points that equal the attack points of the targeted monster. If it is wrong, then I have to let go of my Xyz monster!"

 

A coin dropped from the closing overlay network and Taylor called heads. It landed, and time basically stopped. What seemingly appeared to be three seconds really was just one second and the 

 

results were revealed.

 

Taylor squinted her eyes at the coin. "...... HEADS! YIPPEEEE!"

 

The Blade Skater was destroyed and the robot lost 2400 life points. It now had 1200. "And now I'll attack you while you control no monsters! Attack Lord of Teddy Bears! Fluffy Pose!" The Xyz monster attacked the robot directly and the robot's life points dropped down to 200.

 

"I'll now play my spell card, Sacrificial Blast! Allowing me to destroy one monster on my side of the field and inflict damage to your life points equal to the amount I give up. But it has to be equal to or less than the attack of my sacrificed monster. And 200 is less than 1000! I'll let go of 200 life points to get rid of the rest of yours!"

 

 

Taylor's life points dropped to 2100 and a purple fire struck the robot. Taylor won.

 

"YAAAAY!" The four spectators cheered. Taylor cheered too. "Congratulations, Taylor! You're enrolled!" Mindy welcomed.

[spoiler='Episode 7 - The Halloween Bandit Part 1']The chill of the night... it was striking. However, it was only 10:30 PM in Carla City. Very few people roamed the streets still. And Halloween was a day away. Huff... huff... the masked man could see his breathe in the chilled air. Of course, it was more shocking to those whom the masked man approached, and what he did. A man turned to him, seeing him dressed behind his pumpkin mask and magician-like clothing. After gazing upon the man, he spoke. "Halloween's the day after tomorrow, dude." He found himself backing up into an alley way. He couldn't escape. The masked man pulled out an object: a chain with a golden eyeball on it. It resembled one of the Millenium Items. "What do you want?" The man screamed at the masked man. "I'm the Halloween Bandit. Gaze into the all-seeing eye. I shall welcome you." "Wh....attt.." The man started to feel sleepy.

"What you've seen and what you've heard
Realize not what you're looking for.
When this chant comes to an end
We shall duel and you'll meet you end.
When I win and you lose,
Only the horrid can choose."

The man's eyes shined for a moment, then the light disappeared. The eyeball was put away. He prepared his duel disk for a duel. "I can't leave... I want to though... WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME??!!!"


NEXT MORNING 8:38 PM

The morning's sun lightened up the hotel room. Brady woke up. Taylor, Ellie, and Cosmic were all sleeping. Brady... well, he wasn't. He was... awake. "Hmmm... okay." He picked up the remote and turned on the TV. The news was on. "A man lies breathing, in a state of shock, concious in the alleyway. He was jumped, according to police's interpetations." Brady looked around the room, Cosmic scratched his butt and gave out a loud snore. Brady smirked and turned the TV down a notch. "The only things found were a duel disk and a few scattered cards." Brady looked around again. Ellie adjusted her pyjama bottom and yawned. Another notch was turned down. "It is possible this man lost in an illegal 'Shadow Game' and lost his soul and a couple cards as a result." Brady paused the TV. "That would have been us if Lexi and Devon ended up the victors two weeks ago." Brady whispered. "Indeed you would have been..." a female's voice sounded. "Alexandria..." Brady remembered the voice. "You said you'd show yourself before you spoke." Brady reasoned. The voice of Alexandria answered back, "Our bond must reach the Trinity's Peak during the balance between your life and death before I obtain the ability to show my spirit in a human form." Magic Alexandria stated. "As will I." Ellie, the Sister of Alexandria spirit said. "You two are weird... haha." Brady joked, still being quiet. "The man who cogged the Shadow Game in the news and won is known as the Halloween Bandit. He's from the times of the Pharaoh's Court. If we remember together as our human forms, Alix and Regizu, He forced people into Shadow Games with the magic of the Power Eye. It conjures weak mind control, focusing on forcing whoever was challenged to the Shadow Game to accept and they'll want to leave but they can't."
"Can you defend me if I come across it?"
"I'll have to help you win." The sister spirits disappeared.
"And there they go, without goodbye." He thought for a minute and clenched his head between his palms. "We gotta go buy our Halloween Duel Monster costumes today! Everyone wake up!"

LATER THAT NIGHT 9:10 PM

It was fading so the sky blackened. They were at a costume store, specifically for Duel Monster Halloween Costumes. Brady tried on costumes for the Dark Magician, Blue-Eyes White Dragon, Elemental Hero Sparkman, and The Creator. Of course, he looked goony in each. But he received the nicest rating with his last outfit, Krebons. "You look like a joker." Ellie giggled. "He's not funny though." Taylor added. This caused Cosmic to burst into a complete laugh.

Taylor was next. She tried on the costumes of White Magician Pikeru, Mystical Elf, Miracle Flipper, and even Cyber Tutu. Ellie decided that Brady and Cosmic had bad taste in fashion and chose out a Little Fairy costume.

Cosmic followed. He tried on a Marauding Captain costume, a Zubaba Knight costume, and he picked himself out a Six Samurai Yaichi outfit.

Ellie tried on almost everything. Though she said her top five behind her final pick consisted of Injection Fairy Lily, Yubel, Harpie Lady, Cyber Blader, and Warrior Lady of the Wasteland. Her final pick was Gagaga Girl. Of course, Brady was drooling over this. They left the store, dressed up (like everyone in Carla would do after buying Halloween Costumes), at 10:28. Two minutes to closing time. As they traveled farther into the night, they barely realized how creepy the area of the city they ended up wandering in was.

Cosmic looked around. Flickering lights. Moving bushes. Howls. "Man this place runs a shiver down my spine."
Brady looked at him for a second, "Yes, I guess so." He then looked at his hands, starting to glow. However, it was not a noticable glow. (More like a signal) "Hmmm... odd..."

"INDEED!" Some unfamiliar voice shouted. The four turned around. It was the Halloween Bandit Brady saw on the news that morning. "The Halloween Bandit! You must who Magic Alexandria was talking about! For that man you sent maliciously to the Shadow Realm, I shall put an end to your uncivil acts against humanity! For thousands of years you've roamed under that Pumpkin mask and Magician outfit!"

"Indeed. And you must hold the two sisters Alix and Regizu in your deck. Go ahead and duel me, for once we start the duel the two Duel Monster spirits will lose their control over their spirit and be sent to the Shadow Realm where they've been condemned too!" The Halloween Bandit replied.
"Then if I can't duel you without automatically losing two of my most cherished belongings, I'll have to have someone else duel for me." Brady offered.
"Fine, I guess it doesn't matter. The more I win the longer I live! MWAHAHAHAHA! Who shall face me in your place, instead? The Archer boy!" The Halloween Bandit was already manuevering his Power Eye so the four couldn't leave until a conclusion was made with the Shadow Game. "No, I'm not ready!" Cosmic declined. "Be lucky he doesn't have Shadow Bracelets like Devon and Lexi did." Brady reassured. "That doesn't matter!" Cosmic backed up his opinion and stuck with it. "The Fairy girl." "Absolutely not. Not risking her again within this little time." Brady rejected. "I have to win for the sake of those who cared about me since I was little. Brady always had my back and I'll have his back, always! I'll duel you." Ellie volunteered as she readied her newly purchased Carla City Duel Disk. She adjusted her suit and grabbed her deck. She shuffled and before you know it, the Halloween Bandit was starting his chant.

"What you've seen and what you've heard
Realize not what you're looking for.
When this chant comes to an end
We shall duel and you'll meet you end.
When I win and you lose,
Only the horrid can choose."

Ellie's eyes shined and the light disappeared after a moment. "I can't leave even if I wanted to in the first place." Ellie stated.

"DUEL!"

"Come on Ellie!" Brady yelled.
"Yeah!" Taylor and Cosmic backed up Brady's cheer.

"I'll show him fear." Ellie replied.
The Halloween Bandit drew his five cards to start with, "said no one ever... not prepare yourself."
"Ladies first!" Ellie drew. "I'll set a monster face-down. That's it for now."

"You indeed fear me! If you weren't scared, you'd reveal your monster on the first turn."
"Hey! Don't judge her!" Brady warned the man.
"Stay out of it, boy." He shot back.

"I draw..." the Halloween Bandit spoke as he drew in a menacing voice. "I'm not afraid of anything. That's why I'm not afraid to reveal my monster on the first turn unless it is all apart of my grand scheme. Headless Knight in attack mode!" The Halloween Bandit played a monster in face-up defense postion. A suited knight appeared, though no body controlled it. It was like a ghost dressed in armor.

Ellie lifted one eyebrow. She sarcastically commented, "... oooooohhh... so frightening! You sure just made me tremble."
The Halloween Bandit clenched another card in his hand, but he said "Puny human, wait and see!" before he actually played it. "I use the spell card Tribute to The Doomed! You see, I can easily just pierce fear into your heart and pump it throughout your veins. But back when the Pharaoh would be mummified, someone had to sacrifice themself to seal the tomb shut! So I'll sacrifice one card from my hand in order to send a monster you control to its tomb!"

 

A mummy materialized from the played card, after the man discarded a card. It approached Ellie's face down card. It walked over the set down projected card and suddenly a stone stairwell appeared ontop of the card. It walked down it, shutting the door after it. It shattered.

"I end my turn."

Ellie remarked, "You think one monster being destroyed scares me? Well 1700 defense points may be strong, but I'll overcome them."
"That's the spirit!" The other three applauded. She drew a card.
"I'll set another monster face-down and I'll also set down one face-down card."

"Still... you show fear. Have you no shame? It's my turn." The Halloween Bandit drew his next card. "I'll change my Headless Knight to attack mode." The Headless Knight lifted off his knee and pulled back his shield, revealing his sword. It stormed out a menacing sound, adding to the already unusual creepy sensation everyone but the Bandit felt while the darkness of the Shadow Realm formed around them. It was a Shadow Game, however. What else could one expect?

"Now! I'll have someone join the Headless Knight! I summon Achacha Archer in attack mode." A firey archer joined the Headless Knight on the Halloween Bandit's side of the field. "And when I summon him", he continued, "I get to inflict 500 damage to your life points at the cost of absolutely nothing! Feel the pain!"

"What? That's pretty unfair!" Brady and Cosmic exclaimed. Taylor's eyes appeared to start to water. Ellie's eyes shot open wide as she pulled her Gagaga Girl costume's hat back, in order to see the incoming fire arrow. It struck her through her stomach and came out her back. She felt a burning through her body as her life points dropped by 500 points. She fell on her knees giving a quick whimper. "Urgh...." She flipped her head upward. "That barely hurt."

"You're just scared. You should be!" The Halloween Bandit laughed. "Headless Knight, attack her hiding monster!" The Headless Knight moved forth and slashed at the monster, revealed to be The Caring Woman monster.

It was destroyed. "Thanks..." Ellie managed to muster, still feeling a sharp burning pain in her stomach and lower back. She just barely managed to return to her feet. "When The Caring Woman is revealed, which was revealed due to your attack, I get to draw a card from my deck." Ellie drew a card. The Halloween Bandit gave out a quick reply, "It doesn't due you any good."

"Ellie's vulnerable for a direct attack!" Brady worried.
Ellie, in her head, was thinking "I gotta pull my stuff together and get in the game... or we're all toast. I can't lose the love of my life and my best friend! Or Cosmic and Taylor. We're in this one together."

"Achacha Archer! Direct attack!" Another fire arrow hit her, and this one hurt more. She bent down on her knees, crossing both arms hard against her stomach, she pulled her shirt just above her belly, but there was no bruise. "I hate fire soooo much..." she sobbed. Her life points dropped to 2300. She rubbed her stomach and pulled her shirt back down. "I'm going to seriously hurt you, freak!" She shouted as she stopped sobbing and got back up. "My turn." Ellie drew. She revealed her spell card from her hand. "I use the spell, Polymerization to fuse two Fusion Monster material monsters from my field or hand, sending them to the Graveyard in order to summon that monster to the field. From my hand, I'll fuse Bee Girl and Flash Belly Dancer together to fusion summon the Belly Dancing Bee in attack position!"

 

A bee-like woman surfaced from the preceding fusion movement. She whipped the honey-coated hive-headed club around like a dangerous warrior. "Hehehehe!" The Belly Dancing Bee giggled.

"And now I'll attack your damn fire arrow shooting Archer with my Belly Dancing Bee fusion monster! Honey Swarm Blast!" The Bee Girl shot over to the Achacha Archer and whipped her club across the bow the archer held, breaking it into two. Then, with the second movement, the Belly Dancing Bee uppercutted the Achacha Archer with the club. The archer finally was destroyed. The Belly Dancing Bee returned to Ellie's side of the field.

"Alright, Ellie!" Brady exclaimed.
"Yeah!" They continued.

"Finally..." Ellie smirked in a disrespectful-intended attitude towards the Halloween Bandit.
The Halloween Bandit showed no signs of emotion. His mask didn't even make a difference. It covered up no fear. He tapped his mask. "You don't make me fear. I don't fear. I am FEAR." He laughed.

"Then maybe I should make you burn for burning me!" Ellie grabbed a card from her hand, Burning Crisps. "I activate the hot Spell card, Burning Crisps! It's basically like Hinotama, Ookazi, Sparks, Final Flame, and so on. But here's a burn that'll drop your life points by 300 points!"

 

Flames appeared and struck the Halloween Bandit, who gave out a quiet aching noise from his mouth. "All fires burn... but I don't fear it... unlike you. You keep checking your flesh, rubbing your stomach; believing you'll be alright. But, you are so damn afraid! You're pathetic."

"Watch it!" Brady shouted at the Halloween Bandit.
"Yeah!" Taylor backed up her brother.
"Ellie, don't listen to this chump! You are way better than many people, including this loser!"

"It looks like she'll be the loser here. I, on the otherhand, will be the winner of this Shadow Game. I may have lost some life points, but my 2300 life points is just as healthy as your 2300 life points. Hear me out! Before this duel is over; you... will... know... fear!"

He placed his finger tips on the top card of his deck. "My draw!" He drew. "I summon Pumpkin Liver in attack position!"

"But you won't get to see much of him. I'm going to overlay my Pumpkin Liver with my Headless Knight in order to build the overlay network! I Xyz-Summon Halloween Necro in defense mode!"

A giant demonic looking monster took over the field in which formerly belonged to two other monsters now made overlay units for the Halloween Necro.

"Halloween Necro is one of the most striking monsters out there in the entire universe! His special ability will make you cringe in fear before Halloween Necro! His special ability allows me detach an overlay unit in order to inflict a thousand points of damage towards your life points. But if I don't want to detach an overlay unit, I can choose to pay 500 life points instead."

"Oh wow..." Ellie gasped.
"WHAT?!" Brady couldn't believe his eyes.
"That's not fair at all!" Cosmic jeered.
"Not good, Ellie!" Taylor warned.

"You all are afraid of this enormous demon aren't you? Well, it is no surprise!" The Halloween Bandit began to chuckle with a berserk flavor to it. "However, I can only sacrifice my life points three times before I absolutely have to detach overlay units. Also, I can only activate this power once per turn." The four were relieved barely by this. Indeed, they were actually fearful. Ellie was breathing heavily. Everyone's hearts were beating with a certain beat. Everyone was sweating and it was starting to look ugly for Ellie.

"I'll sacrifice 500 of my life points." The Halloween Bandit informed his opponent. "Go! Halloween Necro! Terror Drain!"

The Halloween Necro punched the ground with both fists, leaving them like a gorilla on the gravel. A dark stream of what seemed to be energy started to transfer from his hands into the ground. It was clearly visible that it was traveling through the ground, leaving black lines in the moving path ten feet under. Under the legs Ellie, a black energy cage grew from under her body and locked her in a cage. "What's going on?" Ellie wondered.

"This doesn't look good." Cosmic remarked. The cage compressed really, really fast and contracted her body like an anaconda. She cried it hurt so bad. "H-h-hoooooly shit... owwwww...."
The Halloween Bandit laughed. "Yes... feel the pain... hahaha! I'm not done yet! And you're at only 1300 life points! I have 1800 life points! Where is hope? Where is hope?! Not anywhere if you're looking for it! Feel the fear?!" He harrassed. "And do you think you're Belly Dancing Bee will save you? No! I activate the continuous spell card Level Limit Area B!"

 

"What does that do?" Ellie managed to ask.
"It changes all Level 4 or higher monsters into defense position as long as it remains on the field! And since you're Belly Dancing is a Level 7 monster, she'll be forced into having to play some defense!"
"Come on!" Ellie shouted. She watched her Belly Dancing Bee get on her knees, ready to defend.

"And since my Xyz monster has a rank and not a level; it isn't affected at all! And now I'll conclude my turn by playing the field spell Fear Village! While Fear Village is active, all dark monsters on my side of the field can't be destroyed by battle. Plus, all monsters on your side of the field who aren't dark monsters lose 1000 attack points and 900 defense points!"

 

"Oh no!" Ellie squinted at her weakening monster, not caring that she was feeding the Halloween Bandit by showing fear in her action. She wiped short-lived tears off from her cheeks. "All she has now is 1600 attack points and 250 defense points. I guess you can cause a little fear..." She admitted.

"Yes! YOU ADMIT IT! Now I shall completely consume you in it! Then, I'll proceed with the draining of your energy and supplying myself with it! Then I'll take your deck along with it, young foolish female!"

Thinking to himself in an intense manner was Brady, "She has to win somehow, she just has too! But if I lend her the power of the Sorcery Kingdom's royal magic sisters... I won't be able to save anyone! I just know some how that if I watch, focusing on the love I have for her, destiny will change its course or at least show itself if she wins in the end already! I can't stand to see her cry! I will take this no longer!"

[spoiler='Episode 8 - The Halloween Bandit Part 2']"Admit it, you are scared!" The Halloween Bandit mocked, but Ellie stood strong under what she showed. "I can't lose... So I'll set a card and end my turn."

"Fine. My turn." He drew. "First, I'll activate my Halloween Necro's effect once again! However, this time I'll let go of an Xyz unit. Another blow!" The Halloween Necro took action and Ellie fell onto her knees again. "Stop..... owww..." she bellowed, painfully. "But I'll activate my trap card, Solemn Wishes. It gives me 500 life points each time I draw 1 or more cards."

 

"And now I'll win! I'll switch my Halloween Necro to attack mode and attack your Belly Dancing Bee!" He mocked. "No! I activate De-Fusion!" Ellie exclaimed. "De-Fusion lets me pick a Fusion Monster on the field and split 'em. Special summoning is a thing I can do with it! So Flash Belly Dancer and Bee Girl will see their ways to the field in defense mode!"

"It's time to comeback. I'll draw." Ellie drew. "And remember what my Solemn Wishes does? I get to gain 500 life points, so now I have 800."
"Doesn't change the outcome of the game, at all!" Mockingly, the Bandit shouted.

"No way! That's 3800 now!" He was shocked.
Ellie smirked, "yes... good..." She laughed. "But that's not where it ends! I'll summon my Synchro Fairy in defense position!"

"And now I'll go ahead and activate her special ability. You see, I can draw 1 card when she's on my side of the field each turn. But only once during a turn. So I'll use her special effect and draw that card." Ellie said drawing her card.

"Yes! That means her Solemn Wishes activates again!" Brady and Cosmic cheered.
"That's right boys. So now, I have 4300 life points!" Ellie declared.
The Halloween Bandit snarled, "you think that'll change things?"
"I do." Ellie responed.

The Halloween Bandit drew a card. "I'll discard another card from my hand in order to use my Halloween Neco's special ability and inflict yet another 1000 points of damage your life points!"

Ellie's life points dropped to 3300. "Now I'll attack your Synchro Fairy with my Halloween Necro!"
"Not so fast! I activate my trap, Waboku! You see, when Waboku is played, I take 0 damage the battle phase of your turn and my monster's can't be destroyed." Ellie intercepted.
The Halloween Bandit shook his head, "stop delaying the inevitable. I guess I end my turn."

 

Ellie drew her next card, and Solemn Wishes activated. (now at 3800 LP) "I'll now tribute my Synchro Fairy in order to summon The Stunning Beauty in defense mode!"

"No!" The Halloween Bandit shrieked as he saw the world he created around him disappear. He felt a burn of "vanquish" in his stomach. "I'm losing my body!"
"Good! You're about to lose the duel! I'll switch Flash Belly Dancer into attack mode!"

"Go! Stunning Freedom!" Ellie ordered, and her Stunning Beauty card destroyed the Halloween Necro. Then she ordered Flash Belly Dancer to attack the Halloween Bandit directly, winning the duel.

"No! MY BODY!" The Halloween Bandit vanished in the air, no longer a threat. The sun was rising, waiting to exclaim "Happy Halloween Morning!"

Ellie fell to her knees and layed down. "I'm sooo tired." Brady, Cosmic, and Taylor ran to her. Brady picked her up. "We thought we lost you..." he sighed. "I did too... take me home..." She drifted asleep.

Nearly twelve hours later, the four were dressed up giving out candy to the Trick-or-Treaters. Mostly all of the kids were dressed up as Duel Monsters.[/spoiler]
