Flame Dragon Posted September 7, 2013 Report Share Posted September 7, 2013 Personally I think 22 lands is too few for 8 cards over 3 mana. I think cut on of the Chandras for an extra Mountain. Also, 5 colorless lands might be a tad greedy. I think start 2 Mutavault and if your aren't having problems with needing Red mana test the 3rd. Only other change I can think is to cut a Mortars for the 4th Firefist. They both do the same functional thing, removing an opponents blocker, but the extra damage from Firefist might end up being important. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The Hounds Of Anubis Posted September 7, 2013 Report Share Posted September 7, 2013 Chandra is not an aggro card.This seriously needs a 4th Reckoner and some Emissaries of Trees that Burn, and with that probably another Firefist Striker.Understandably, BTE does require some alterations to your curve though.Nykthos is horribly unnecessary. Sorin Markov Posted September 7, 2013 Author Report Share Posted September 7, 2013 I change the land base with 3 Mutavaults and 20 mountains. took 1Chandra and put in the sidedeck. -1 mortars and +1 Firefist striker. So is it better? I don't add BTE because i have problems casting boros and zealots since they required just red mana, but is a good suggestion though. I don't run a 4th boros because of mutavault and 3 will suffice the deck enough to do what it post to do. Do you think i should add a ogre battledriver? I run chandra because her +1 does the same thing as firefist and her 0 let us draw cards ( figuratively Speaking) & her ultimate is lighting you on fire. While its only a 2 of having a card that will almost always turn on Stormbreath Dragon can be very helpful. I think that might be better than the 3rd Mutavaults. I think Battle Drive kind of fills the same space as the Hammer since the extra power on turn 5 doesn't do as much as giving everyone haste. Personally I like the Hammer more since it helps should you flood out and that is something that can happen. I think if you were to add it I'd put it in over the Hammer though.
