Flame Dragon
Yep, going to need 4.
Rawkobo
Decent, if overhyped. I'll copypasta my convenient chart from a different site. Pros: + Makes 2/2 hasty dudes that can also act as meat shields, making him a cheaper, easier-to-use Elspeth. + With BTE and our new mana tree, able to potentially play a 5-drop finisher the turn you drop him + Pretty good flavor + Did I mention his synergy with cards in the set? His Satyr friends can potentially do 4 a turn if left alone with Purphoros in play. Cons: - Not "the next Mind Sculptor." A better way to put it would be that it's not as stupid as it's made out to be. People keep saying it's aggro's version of Jace and it's most clearly not. It's a decent accelerator; much better than Ral's +1 on paper, in my opinion. But in comparison with other green walkers, it's not as directly potent or problematic. - While it does make dudes through a board wipe, +1 loses its value when on the draw in that scenario, thus killing a fair portion of the fear this card invokes. - Easier to hit than Elspeth in the mirror. 3 1/1s versus 1 2/2 hasty that might've swung already seems to push the protection in Elspeth's favor, even if Dreadbore is a card. Basically, it's a good card, but save your money until release, imho, when he drops to Ral Zarek's price range right now.
Flame Dragon
The difference between Jace: TMS and every other walker is huge. However compaired to ever other walker I'd say he is easily top 5. I don't see him dropping below $20, at least not for a long while.
Rawkobo
I guess. I'm expecting more of a combo deck with him than general support, which is why I feel like being over $20 is silly unless it's a damn fine combo. And alright, as long as BTE is a card, I'm sure having access to mana won't be an issue. Still loses the potential of its plussing ability against board wipes, which remain a thing post-rotation. Flame Dragon
I think what makes him so good is that his 0 can still feed into his 1 should field be cleared. But maybe I like token making walkers a tad to much. Either way, he is going to be a big player in new standard. Also, the thought just hit me, he has a good chance of being in a duel deck. Rawkobo
Probably will be. Might even end up being Elspeth VS Xenagos at this rate, though later sets may matter as well in determining that. 0 does fuel 1, but it's highly dependent on him remaining on the board. The aggro mirror playing him revolves around hitting the combo or whiffing entirely. And if they remove it, sure, they drew fire away from you, but your 4 CMC option of choice just got wiped off the face of the earth. I still think he's good, but with reservation. That's all. Lonk
That mana ramp is insane 0_o I definitely want to make a deck around this guy.
tazeel3
A Duel deck between Elsphet and Xenagos is sure, because Elsphet wil be the saviour of Theros, and at the end of the trailer, when Heliod talk about someone that wanted to steal theros from him, appear a red face that is very similar to Xenago's one. Its been said that Xenagos is the bad guy for the block, so seeing that duel deck would not be of any shock to me.
