:^)
At the moment we have: Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG & OCG Card Discussion Yu-Gi-Oh! News, Information and Tournaments Yu-Gi-Oh! Banlists and Theory Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Decks Yu-Gi-Oh! Archetype Discussion and Guides Yet there is no section to talk about how duels went or discuss general Yu-Gi-Oh! happenings. Such as "The funniest loss you ever had" or something generic. There is no other place except General, and most people that go to the Trading Card Game section wouldn't look in General for a Yu-Gi-Oh! thread talking about your "Most Ridiculous First Hand". Plus it would feel wrong to then use Other TCGs for Yu-Gi-Oh general, because their whole purpose is for everything but Yu-Gi-Oh!
Azuh
Why do we need those silliest discussions anyway? Just talk about it in the card discussion. I personally think theres too many different sections on this site nowdays. Half of them aren't even used
Northern Sage
Why do we need those silliest discussions anyway? Just talk about it in the card discussion. I personally think theres too many different sections on this site nowdays. Half of them aren't even used While continuing or providing relevant discussion. This is exactly what happens from time to time. I don't see the necessity for a new section for a) are already happening in an appropriate manner and b) on their own do not lead anywhere relevant. I mean, DN Chronicles practically already does something like that, and look where that topic is.
.Leo
If you want a separate place for this stuff, wouldn't a specific thread be good enough?
Not-so-Radiant Arin
Most people simply use the Status bar if they want to talk about stuff like that. And also, I see "General Yu-Gi-Oh happenings" as News and Information, so it's really a moot point.
evilfusion
The problem with such discussion areas is that they're inherently self-centered. You don't post in such a topic to see what other people have said and debate or expand on that, you go though to post your own story. No one actually cares about the stories, they just want other people to care about THEIR stories. Because of this, the discussion has no purpose. Each of the other sections has a clear direction and purpose in the sense that what's being debated or discussed doesn't lose relevence five minutes later. It's nice to be able to toss in a humorous story now and then, but devoting an entire thread or an entire SECTION to such a thing isn't beneficial.
