Ni No Kuni - Wrath of the Winter Witch

Bought the game today.  A little late to this party.  I have to say I love the graphics as Ghibili and Level 5 team up very well.  I like the battle system too, similar yet different enough from pokemon to make it interesting.  Anyone else play this, thoughts?  Comments?

I watched Martyn from the YOGSCAST play this game. Either Martyn is very bad at games, which I think is the case, or the combat system in the game is simply unrelenting and forces you to stock on MP restorative items which later in the game become more expensive. Level 5 has always been known for making unrelenting and difficult games that force you to grind excessively to meet expectations (i.e., Rogue Galaxy), and at that point, it just becomes a waste to not play the game anymore.

I haven't actually finished the game, but yeah the game does kind of force you to save up on MP. I barely use anything that costs MP simply because of how much you use up over battles if you're not careful. Picking up those MP orbs help, but yeah, usually I just go with physical attacks.
