Redo

I posted this a while back and got very little feedback. 

 

 

I thus took the png (not the xcf) and redid the colors 'cause I'm cool.

Although I'm liking the blue colouring contrasting with the red, it seems to suffocate the depth somewhat. On the other hand, the redo feels as if it's missing a little spice. I'm not entirely sure about the rectangle, but I'm all for throwing shapes around. The focal looks slightly flat, as if the lighting doesn't quite work, or isn't apparent enough, especially in the facial area. Maybe that's just me, I don't know. Overall though, I like the composition and flow. It's been handled nicely.

Couldn't do anything with the rectangles, didn't have the xcf. Focal isn't flat. Boob joke. Yeah I see what you're saying. I kinda didn't go the right direction with the lighting, seeing as the shadows are on the left of the face. Thanks brah.

The double focal is quite prevalent.

I can understand why you decided to go with the seemingly obligatory rectangle since it does assist in adding depth, but by now you should be able to do that without adding a double focal. 

The lighting and color jump is very abrupt, not a fan. 

 

'Should have blurred the tits, that'd work for depth. 

Nice piece though, the second is cool regardless of it's many faults.

This reminds me when you used to just use rectangles and force them white for no reason thus making them look realllllyyyy ugly. Interesting piece anyway, not particularly intrigued by the blue but it is pretty. Viper's face also looks a bit too "doll" like.
