XxJonathXx
Hello. I am making some cards for private use with use with YGOPro to get pictures there in better quality and make them in german. Unfortunately the letters named in the title are missing in the cards, only Ä and Ö exists. Is there any way for you to add it? Many of german cards have them in their name like "Change of Heart" = "Überläufer". And in the cards description they are completely missing. Kind regards, Jan
Northern Sage
The problem with those letters is that they are foreign characters that are not recognized by english programs. Normally there is an umlaut key in all keyboards which is to the upper left of the enter key. Use that key first, then the letter. As for ß, at least in macs, it's alt+S, but couldn't you just type out two s's anyway? Anyhow, for the record, cards written in foreign languages aren't allowed on this forum anyways. XxJonathXx
The problem isn't that I cannot write them - I have a german keyboard -, the problem is that they are not recognized by the Cardmaker. Check it in the picture for "Change of Hearts" aka "Überläufer" For the title only the "small case" letters accept Ä, Ö and Ü apparently, while the Ü as a big case letter is shown as a small 0 And in the card description, they are missing completely. As you can see, all those spaces in the words, like "W hle" which would be "Wähle"
Deathdwarf
Guten Tag, deutscher Buddy ;) No, lets keep it english, wont we? So, I had this problem a few times also. How I fixed it: Using small Umlaut Letters at the beginning (small detail probably overseen by others), use AE, OE, UE (ugly, but necessary), or simply use synonyms without those letters. But stuff like HTML-language does not work, do not even bother. Otherwise I'd recommend Magic Set Editor, but the Font on their cards do not look like they should. XxJonathXx
Yeah, I noticed that it is an "issue" with the font itself. I am using Magic Set Editor now, I edited the font for my private use to support Ü, Ä and Ö. Thank you anyway. For custom made cards I will use english if I publish them here :), I have an idea already, just need a picture xD
