Nintendo 2DS

bury the year

I'm not sure if it will fit in your pocket. Then again, neither did the first DS (at least, not in mine).

I'm resonably curtain I have the Gen 2 Model for the DS (same as Gen 1, but without the thumb thing) and it always fit into my pocket just fine. And I guess with tablet devices being more common it just needs to fit in a bag, but I don't know.

They have always said the 3D is for ages 7 and up, and some/most kids who are younger than that (or even around the same age or older, I should know...) could easily break it if it was fold-able. I realize most people older than that would prefer a clamshell, as do I, but I certainly get why they're doing this. Think of the kids?

Honestly, I've never once owned a non-clamshell Nintendo handheld and would like to see if I could get used to it (My only GBAs were SP), but imo it doesn't really look the greatest, yeah. (probably will get used to it if I buy it though)

Ok, thats fair I guess.

And wow, you make me feel like an old man. I've had GB Color, GBA, SP, DS, 3DS. At least the only time I doubled up was then Nintendo went clamshell. <3 clamshell.

A cheaper 3ds that'll only get cheaper is a good product imo, even without the 3d. More people can afford it, and it's always a good thing. I guess it has all the other features of the 3ds, right?

Well it can play DS games, so I assume so.

I could have seen them removing backwards compatibility but they didn't so I'm happy.

Haha yeah, well, I had a SNES so it's not like the possibility wasn't there, it just didn't manage to get a handhold until later.
