bury the year
Link.It looks... ungainly, although I appreciate the idea of an "entry-level system." Would've meant I wouldn't have needed to sell so many of my old games to pick up my current 3DS and keep it in budget. Anyways, thoughts?
Premier Alexander Romanov
Huh? The link just sends me back here.
Nicο
Huh? The link just sends me back here. Well I quoted to get the whole link and copied it. It's definitely something I can think about when/if I need a new 3DS, being cheaper and I barely even use the 3D as it is.

Cin
Better than buying 3Ds and never using the 3D element, which I will probably do.
Shradow
Very interesting. And I kinda like the design, too. Oh well, I like my 3DS as it is. :

Fusion X. Denver
This is also probably how they'll handle transferring Pokémon into X and Y. Would've been nice if this was released earlier...but yeah, looks good.
Northern Sage
It really doesn't look comfortable holding. Now that I've invested in a 3DS already, chances are I won't buy this. Although, I wonder if it will be able to handle regular DS games.
Shradow
It's compatible with DS and 3DS games.

Flame Dragon
As some how never/rarely uses the 3D function on my 3DS I think this is an amazing thing to sell. However I don't like the design of the system itself. Meh, either way I already own one so it doesn't really appeal to me.
Shradow
The guy who wrote the article said it handled fine and comfortably, and it makes sense that it would, since I imagine it'd be just like holding a tablet or something solid like that. Flame Dragon
I'm not going to say it will feel off when holding it. I love the way the Wii U game pad feels when you hold it, so I trust its feels right. I just think its a little to big looking to carry around in your pocket. Shradow
I'm not sure if it will fit in your pocket. Then again, neither did the first DS (at least, not in mine).

I'm resonably curtain I have the Gen 2 Model for the DS (same as Gen 1, but without the thumb thing) and it always fit into my pocket just fine. And I guess with tablet devices being more common it just needs to fit in a bag, but I don't know.
ihop
It looks hideous IMO o.O I have a 3DS and actually use the 3D function occasionally and tbh I'd rather pay a bit extra to actually have something that fols up.
Nicο
They have always said the 3D is for ages 7 and up, and some/most kids who are younger than that (or even around the same age or older, I should know...) could easily break it if it was fold-able. I realize most people older than that would prefer a clamshell, as do I, but I certainly get why they're doing this. Think of the kids? Honestly, I've never once owned a non-clamshell Nintendo handheld and would like to see if I could get used to it (My only GBAs were SP), but imo it doesn't really look the greatest, yeah. (probably will get used to it if I buy it though)

At least the only time I doubled up was then Nintendo went clamshell. <3 clamshell.
Tentacruel
The thing looks ugly as hell, but it's still a good move. It'll sell like crazy to kids and moms.
Maeriberii Haan
A cheaper 3ds that'll only get cheaper is a good product imo, even without the 3d. More people can afford it, and it's always a good thing. I guess it has all the other features of the 3ds, right?

I could have seen them removing backwards compatibility but they didn't so I'm happy.
