Lonk
http://www.mother4game.com/ I honestly have to give credit where credit is due: The game was in development for 4-5 years with only a small volunteering staff, but the game has finally zenithed in development and is due for a release in the 2014 Winter season. I can say that I'm honestly excited for when it comes out.
Captain Murphy ☆
I'm excited as well and I actually had no idea this was in development. I can't wait but it seems so far away...
Lonk
The game was in development for a long time. Staff members came and went and the main core of the game transferred through several different coding programs before ultimately being made on C++. We can wait about 5-6 more months. Lonk
I have a crazy fan theory that might actually make sense: In the mid-development of the game, there are five major playable characters: Travis (Protagonist), Zack, Meryl, Floyd and Leo. We knew that one of them won't be around for mid-game and late-game progress. However, after the server switch, the development team revealed the overall plot and the four characters that stay around for mid-game and late-game which leaves out Zack (who was revealed to be the protagonist's older brother who is implied to be the "perfect person in everything"). Anyways, my theory is that Zack initially wanted to fight off the Modern Men (the rumored villains of the game), but ultimately joined them after society's pressures of having him remain the character stereotype got to him. This might explain why he seemed sheepish about showing his younger brother the slimeball on the needle, which more than likely has a strong connection to the goals of the Modern Men. Maeriberii Haan
From all the plot materials revealed so far(read: only the basic gist of it), anything could happen actually.
Lonk
From all the plot materials revealed so far(read: only the basic gist of it), anything could happen actually. Anything could happen, but what is confirmed is that Zack won't be around to hang around the adventure despite being playable, so there are several possibilities of what could've happened to him. Grunt Issun
AND THEN, it turns out HE was the masked man the whole time, and he zaps you with lightning, but your Franklin Badge protects you, but not your friends, so you have to fight him one on one, but you can't bring yourself to fight your own brother, so- This sounds familiar...
